Gino and The Magic Morning Show

A sports reporter at a Nashville TV station says that he was fired after delivering a Prince-themed report in the wake of the star’s death. Dan Phillips wrote on his Facebook page that some viewers and management considered the report insensitive and he lost his job over it. It began: “Dearly beloved, were are gathered here today to get through this thing called life. Electric word life . . . but I’m here to tell you there’s something else. The NHL playoffs,” and went on from there.
