Conway Town Voting Day

Conway, NH – Conway voters head to the polls today to decide on over 40 articles and choose a few elected officials. Polls open at 8 this morning at the Conway Community Building and close at 7 p.m.

Conway Residents will be asked to choose between incumbents Mary Seavey and David Weathers and challenger Nicholas Mercauto to fill two seats on the board of selectmen. Voters will also be deciding on a Conway Public Library trustee with incumbent Brian Wiggin taking on challenger Cynthia LeFebvre.

Among the articles is a $2.1 million bond for heating and electrical upgrades at the Conway Elementary School, a new three year teachers’ contract, and to discontinue McMillan Lane but only under the condition that Settlers OVP completes a replacement road. Voters will also be asked to approve $36 million operating budget for the town, not including special articles.
