Rihanna decided to switch up her look again this past weekend, when she debuted her new turquoise-colored hairstyle. The singer posted a video on social media Sunday to reveal her new hair color with the caption, “when yo hurr ready for crop ova.” She was referring to the Barbados’ Crop Over Festival she attended. 

JUSTIN BIEBER WARNS PAPARAZZI TO ‘STAY CLEAR’ OF HIS MOVING VEHICLE: Justin Bieber isn’t taking any more chances when it comes to paparazzi around his moving vehicles. The singer ran over a photographer as he left a Hillsong Church service in Beverly Hills two weeks ago. The paparazzi, Maurice Lamont, is recovering and doesn’t want to press charges. He took to social media to insist that he was okay and that “accidents happen,” writing that Bieber is “a good kid.” So Bieber was extremely cautious driving away from The Peppermint Club in West Hollywood Sunday night, where he warned paparazzi to “stay clear” with a hand wave.

MTV VMA PERFORMANCES: The MTV Video Music Awards are set to air on August 27th and the initial list of performers have been announced. Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran, and The Weeknd are among the first group of performers announced. MTV also said that Fifth Harmony, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Shawn Mendes and host Katy Perry will take the stage as well. Sheeran teased that his performance will be a collaborative one. “I am playing at the VMAs,” he said backstage, “but I am playing with someone.” “It’s not Beyoncé,” Ed added. “But it is one that, when it was broached to me, I was like ‘Oh, that would actually be really interesting.’ It’s the least likely person in the world you would think that I’d be doing a song with at the VMAs.”

BEYONCÉ PENS FOREWORD TO NEW PRINCE PHOTO BOOK: Long-time Prince friend and photographer Afshin Shahidi will honor the late artist with a new book of photos, Prince: A Private View. The book’s forward is penned by Beyoncé. An exclusive peek on ET into her foreword reveals Queen Bey wrote, “Truth be told, the word ‘icon’ only scratches the surface of what Prince was and what he remains to me.” The book is due out October 17th and will feature photos and captions that reflect Prince’s life and friendships. Ranging from intimate moments to staged portraits, many of these images have never been released to the public before.


Fifth Harmony has posted the cover art for their third studio album to Twitter – their first album cover not featuring former member Camila Cabello. The cover for the group’s self-titled album features members Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane and Normani Kordei’s hazily filtered faces against a flat blue backdrop, the title emblazoned in sharp blue type.

The now-foursome’s newest album features the single “Down” with Gucci Mane and will be released August 25th.

Fifth Harmony is among a handful of performers announced so far for the MTV Video Music Awards, airing live on August 27th.
