In a video for Buzzfeed, in which she answers fan questions while playing with puppies, Kelly Clarkson was asked if she’s heard from any of the people who inspired her new album, Meaning of Life.

“It’s so funny that you should say that, because I did get a handwritten letter from Michelle Obama about [my song] ‘Go High,’ which I obviously wrote inspired by the message she gave at the Democratic convention,” Kelly said.

During the 2016 Democratic National Convention, Mrs. Obama gave a memorable speech in which she said, “When they go low, we go high.”

Kelly was also asked what song she’d really like to cover as a “fan request” on her next tour, which she has yet to announce. “Anything from the Harry Styles album. I love it!” she gushed. “Or Evolve, Imagine Dragons. That’s good. I love both those albums right now, they’re pretty rad.”

Asked about her own favorite songs to perform on tour, Kelly said, “My favorite old-school song, like, from the beginning is ‘Miss Independent.’ Live, it’s so much better than on record!  My favorite new song to perform ever… is ‘Whole Lotta Woman.’ It gives me life on so many levels.”

Kelly’s other revelations included:

– If she could pick four other singers to form a “bad a** girl band,” she’d choose P!nk, Jessie J, Alicia Keys and Adele.

– If she needed a babysitter at the last minute, and had to choose between Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul or American Idol Season 1 runner-up Justin Guarini, she’d pick Simon because she “likes a person that can discipline.”

– If she was in trouble and she could only call one person, and had to choose between Blake Shelton, Adam Levine or Alicia Keys, she’d choose Blake, because “people fall for the Southern charm.”

– In 2012, when she asked P!nk, Jessie J and Lady Gaga via Twitter to record a particular song with her, none of them ever got back to her. The track, “Dance with Me,” ended up on her album Piece by Piece.

Demi Lovato has teamed up with DJ Khaled for “I Believe,” an original song from the A Wrinkle In Time soundtrack. Good Morning America gave fans a first look at the music video, which incorporates fantasy elements from the new children’s movie.

Demi is pictured in a striking red dress against a mythic, outdoor backdrop that resembles a scene from the film. The soundtrack for A Wrinkle In Time also includes original music from Sia, Kehlani and more.

Producers even coaxed Sade out of her semi-retirement to record “Flower Of The Universe,” her first new song in eight years.

Director Ava DuVernay brought Madeleine L’Engle’s classic children’s book to life with an all-star cast that includes Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling, Reese Witherspoon and more.

DJ Khaled isn’t pictured in the video teaser but he may appear in the full clip.

Michael B. Jordan is so sexy, the mere sight of his shirtless bod caused one fan to shatter steel.

17-year-old Sophia Robb clenched down so hard on her retainer while watching Black Panther, she broke her retainer in half. The hot-and-bothered teen set up an emergency appointment with her orthodontist to have it repaired, and the doc just couldn’t keep the incident to himself.

  • He shared the deets on Tumblr, writing: “One of my patients came in for an emergency visit, because she snapped the wire on her retainer watching the movie when MBJ took his shirt off she clenched her teeth so f–king hard she snapped it,” read the initial post. “That is the f–king funniest s–t ever to me this tiny 17 year old girl thirsting so goddamn hard she busted steel.”
  • After the story went viral, Robb fessed up on Twitter writing, “Wait. That girl is me. That is my orthodontist’s Tumblr. This is a post about me? This is a post about me? I’m going to kill myself.”
  • She added, “This is litterally [sic] my orthodontist and he’s the chillest person i have ever met even though he eXPOSED ME ON THE INTERNET.”
  • When the 31-year-old Jordan learned of her dental travails, he took to Twitter: “@Pixyrue since I feel partly responsible for breaking your retainers, let me know if I can replace them.”

She asked for it! Thanks to Stephen Colbert, God has finally gotten around to giving Oprah Winfrey the thumbs up for a presidential run in 2020.

Last month, the A Wrinkle in Time star told People that the only thing that would make her run for president is a sign from God that’s “so clear that not even I can miss it.”

  • Tuesday night, she appeared on The Late Show and got a visit from God, who appeared via projection on the ceiling of the Ed Sullivan Theater.
  • “I’m a huge fan,” the projection told her. When Oprah reciprocated, God said: “Wow, Oprah knows who I am? I can’t wait to tell Jesus.”
  • “I hear thou seeketh a sign? Well, is this clear enough?” God then intoned, pointing to a sign that reads “Run!”
  • “Well, all I can say, God, is that now ‘run’ is now a part of my exercise routine. I can tell you that,” Winfrey responded.
  • God then underlined the point, donning an “Oprah 2020” hat and t-shirt.
  • “Lord, let me just say this to you,” Winfrey said. “It’s not something I’ve ever seen myself doing. It’s not the kind of job that you can have without fully devoting yourself to it 100 percent.”
  • “Have you seen this White House?” God asked in response. “Come on, Oprah. I had all this merch printed up. I put it on my wife’s credit card. She’s gonna kill me.”
  • Responded Winfrey, “God, take it from me, Oprah: It’s going to be okay. Everything’s going be okay. And I’m sure you’re going to find someone that you are just as inspired by in 2020.”
