John Cena and Nikki Bella have called off their nuptials just weeks before their wedding date.

“While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another,” the couple, who had been together for six years, said in a statement tweeted out by Bella. “We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives.”

Us Weekly broke the news of their split.

The professional wrestlers got engaged in April 2017 on live TV during a couple’s match. Their destination wedding was scheduled for May 5. (In October, they announced that they’d changed the date due to their schedules.)

LEE ERMEY HAS PASSED AWAY AT 74 – (04/16/2018)

The news was announced via his official Twitter account by his longtime manager.

Lee Ermey, a Golden Globe-nominated actor best known for his role as Gunnery Sgt. Hartman in Stanley Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket, has died.

Ermey, whose nickname was “The Gunny,” died Sunday morning from complications of pneumonia. He was 74.


Week one of Coachella took place this past weekend and Beyoncé’s performance shut the internet down. Prior to Bey’s performance, reports surfaced that she had been holding lengthy rehearsals and had 100 dancers. Beyoncé took the stage on Saturday (April 14th) for a history-making performance on Day 2 of Coachella. The singer did a 105-minute set with a marching band, costume changes, fireworks and had a HBCU homecoming-themed performance with a pep rally. Bey opened up with “Crazy In Love” and performed hits such as “Freedom,” “Formation,” “Sorry,” “Bow Down,” “Diva,” “Flawless,” “Feeling Myself” and “Don’t Hurt Yourself.” 

Bey, who is the first ever African-American female headliner, was joined by JAY-Z, her sister Solange and reunited with Destiny’s Child. JAY joined his wife for “Déjà Vu,” while Bey, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams performed “Lose My Breath,” “Say My Name” and “Soldier.” Solange danced beside her sister during “Get Me Bodied.” 

Yoncé also gave a heartwarming speech to her fans in Indio, California, and to those streaming via YouTube. She said, “I just wanna say thank you guys. I’m so happy that I’m here,” she said. I was supposed to perform at Coachella before but I ended up getting pregnant, thank God, and I had time to dream and dream and dream with two beautiful souls in my belly. I dreamt up this performance. This is everything and more than I dreamt of it being. Thank for sharing this with me.” 

  • Cardi B also hit the stage on Sunday (April 15th), showing off her growing baby bump. She performed “No Limit” with G-Eazy, “She Bad” with YG, “Best Life” with help from Chance the Rapper, “Ring” alongside Kehlani, “Bartier Cardi” with 21 Savage and ended with “Bodak Yellow.” 
  • SZA also performed this weekend and was joined by Kendrick Lamar. She sang “Supermodel,” “Go Gina,” “Drew Barrymore” and “Love Galore.” SZA was also joined by Trippie Red for “Dark Knight Dummo” and K-Dot to sing “All the Stars.” 
  • Migos, The WeekndPost Malone and a host of others also hit the stage this weekend.
  • On another note, Iggy Azalea and Tyga were spotted at Coachella together, which sparked dating rumors. 

JUSTIN BIEBER PUNCHES MAN WHO GRABBED WOMAN BY THROAT AT COACHELLA: Justin Bieber reportedly punch a man in the face for allegedly grabbing a woman by the throat at a Coachella after party, TMZ reports. Justin was at a party on Saturday night hosted by pal Patrick Schwarzenegger when a man – who appeared to be on drugs – walked in and went ballistic on a woman believed to be his ex-girlfriend. Eyewitnesses say the guy was grabbing the woman by the throat when Justin and his pals screamed at the guy to let her go. When he wouldn’t, Justin hit the guy in the face and pushed him against the wall allowing the woman to break free. The guy was then kicked out of the party and arrested shortly afterwards.
