HENRY CAVILL RAISES EYEBROWS WITH PERPLEXING POST AS ‘SUPERMAN’ RUMORS ROIL – (09/14/2018)

Is he in or out as Superman? The Hollywood Reporter reported that Warner Bros. was ousting Henry Cavill from the role, but he cast doubt on the rumors with a post on Instagram that left most viewers scratching their heads.

Wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the text “Krypton Lifting Team,” the 35-year-old stares intensely at the camera, slowly raising and lowering a Superman action figure. “Today was exciting,” he captioned the video, adding “#Superman.”

“Huh?” social media screamed in unison. “What are you doing?!” one user asked, while another wondered: “What does this mean?”

Warner Bros. responded to reporters’ questions, saying simply that the studio has “always had great respect for and a great relationship with Henry Cavill, and that remains unchanged.”

Meanwhile, alternative Superman options are being floated and Michael B. Jordan is considered a front-runner. And … Cavill is now floated as the next James Bond.

Jon Hamm was asked about portraying Batman during an appearance on In Depth with Graham Bensinger, and he said that he’s game. “I’ve had rumors about that since probably – since season one of Mad Men,” he said. “I’ve never – I’ve never had a conversation with anybody about it. Literally. And I’ve sat in the rooms with all these guys.” Still, if the conversation were broached … “I’d probably fit the suit, you know? I have to – I’d have to work out a lot, which I don’t love.”

ARIANA GRANDE’S BROTHER THANKS MAC MILLER FOR SOBRIETY – (09/14/2018)

Frankie Grande, the brother of singer Ariana Grande, paid homage to the late Mac Miller on Instagram, thanking the rapper for helping him get sober.

Miller, real name Malcolm James McCormick, died recently at the age of 26 due to an apparent overdose. Miller and Ariana Grande dated for about two years before the pair called it quits in May.

“I am beyond heartbroken over Malcolm’s death. He was a good friend and was wonderful to my sister. He was the reason I went to the rehabilitation center where I was detoxed safely from all of the drugs alcohol and medications I was taking, when I couldn’t imagine living without them,” Frankie said on Wednesday alongside a black and white photo of Miller.

“It was the place where I found the community of support that showed me that living life without drugs was a possibility and I would never have discovered that if it weren’t for Malcolm,” he continued. “I remember when I would get 30, 60, 90 days clean and Malcolm would be there with a gift and a card and words of encouragement… telling me that he knew how hard getting sober is and how impressed he was that I was succeeding.”

Frankie then advocated for those suffering from addiction to seek out help.

“Malcolm my friend, you will be dearly missed. and I know you will be looking down on me from heaven, proudAF for every day I live my life clean and sober… 453 days and counting… Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” Frankie said in conclusion.

Ariana also recently paid tribute to Miller on Instagram, posting a photo of her former boyfriend with no caption.
