JENNIFER ANISTON BREAKS THE GRAM – (10/16/2019)

In a recent interview with ET, Jennifer Aniston admitted that she was considering joining Instagram because it allowed celebs to control their own narrative. On Tuesday, she made her musings a reality by joining the media platform, and actually crashing her page temporarily due to the excitement.

It was soon back up and running, but users reported other issues, with many being shown a page that read, “Sorry, this page isn’t available.”

Many hopped over to Twitter to share their frustration.

“Everyone in the world is trying to follow Jennifer Aniston on Instagram at the moment and it won’t let me….. #amsad,” one user wrote on Twitter.

Her first post was a selfie with all five of her Friends costars.

“And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM,” she captioned the post, in which she smiles alongside Lisa KudrowCourteney CoxMatthew PerryDavid Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc.

Also “friends” with Aniston is her ex-husband, Justin Theroux. He was one of the first to comment on her inaugural post, writing, “Woot-Woot! #first,” and become one of the hundreds of thousands who quickly followed her.

Theroux was one of the few profiles she followed in return.

Lady Gaga has decided to distance herself from R. Kelly by re-releasing her 2013 album Artpop without the two’s collaboration “Do What U Want.” The new vinyl and CD versions, which are available on November 11th, leave the track out entirely.

Lady Gaga is not the first to take action against Kelly in light of his recent sexual abuse allegations; Chance the Rapper also pulled his 2015 collaboration with Kelly. However, Gaga is the first artist to re-release an entire album. These moves come after the release of Surviving R. Kelly, a documentary which thoroughly detailed the allegations against Kelly.

KEVIN SMITH DEFENDS COMIC BOOK FILMS: Kevin Smith is defending comic book films after Martin Scorsese likened them to “theme parks.” He told The Hollywood Reporter outside of the premiere of his latest film, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot Monday: “Martin Scorsese is a genius. But to be fair, my entire film career — even prior to my film career — he’s been pretty much saying the same thing about action movies.” He also argued that Scorsese has done a superhero film: “For my money, I think Martin Scorsese made the biggest superhero movie ever, which was The Last Temptation of Christ. Don’t get much bigger of a superhero than Jesus. He beats Superman and [Robert] Downey [Jr.] every time, so maybe Martin is bending on that territory.”
