KENDALL JENNER SURPASSES KYLIE JENNER ON THE GRAM, RECONCILES WITH BEN SIMMONS – (01/02/2020)

Kendall Jenner’s modeling chops are coming in handy on Instagram. According to BuzzBingo, Kendall became the highest-paid woman on Instagram based solely on earnings generated by the platform. She surpassed her billionaire sister Kylie Jenner, who previously held the crown.

Also in the top five: Priyanka Chopra with $1.1 million, Khloe Kardashian with $1.2 million, Kylie with $3.8 million, Selena Gomez with $8 million and Kendall with $15.9 million.

Meanwhile, Kendall’s love life is also reportedly looking up. TMZ grabbed pics of her celebrating New Year’s with Ben Simmons, her on-again off-again love. These pics are proof, observers say, that the pair are fully back on.

Kylie, by contrast, seems more estranged than ever from her ex Travis Scott, with whom she shares Stormi. Kylie rang in the new year at L.A.’s Delilah, while Travis hung with The Weeknd in Beverly Hills.

IMAGINE DRAGONS FRONTMAN LAUGHS OFF CHART CRITICISM – (01/02/2020)

Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds has laughed off concerns over the band taking the top three spots on Billboard‘s Top Rock Songs of the Decade chart. The songs were “Thunder,” “Believer” and “Radioactive,” and the Internet lit up with debates over whether the tracks deserved to be considered rock at all.

Reynolds addressed all this on Monday (December 30th), writing, “got on twitter to find all the slander and all the love. thank you for the love and yea I’d probably be mad if it wasn’t my band but it is my band hahahahahahbaba.”

The singer continued, “in all serious. thank you so much. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to have spent the last decade writing this music and sharing it w you. it all comes from a real place and it always will. the world can debate what genre it belongs in. that’s not my concern.”

The Billboard list also includes tracks from Twenty One Pilots, the Lumineers, Portugal. The Man and Panic! At The Disco.

Reynolds told us that Imagine Dragons took its time to get its sound right before releasing its debut album in 2012: [“The last thing that we wanted to do was to put out our first album when we didn’t understand exactly who we were as a band. We needed that time and that development to really find who Imagine Dragons was and to have a unique sound that was ours, and a message that, you know, we felt was worth saying before we tried to show it to the public and have them understand it.”]
