TAYLOR SWIFT REVEALS HER MOM HAS A BRAIN TUMOR – (01/22/2020)

Taylor Swift has revealed that her mother, Andrea, has a brain tumor.

Swift, who has spoken about her mother’s battle with cancer over the years, told Variety in a new interview that while her mother was going through treatment, “they found a brain tumor.”

“And the symptoms of what a person goes through when they have a brain tumor is nothing like what we’ve ever been through with her cancer before. So it’s just been a really hard time for us as a family,” Swift said.

Andrea Swift has become a recognizable figure among Taylor’s die-hard fans, with some of them even posting about her online. She is often seen smiling by her daughter’s side at award shows and in public.

“Everyone loves their mom; everyone’s got an important mom,” Swift, 30, told Variety. “But for me, she’s really the guiding force. Almost every decision I make, I talk to her about it first. So obviously it was a really big deal to ever speak about her illness.”

Taylor confirmed that her mom’s health is the reason she won’t be going on a full tour for her latest album Lover.

COLDPLAY’S CHRIS MARTIN GOES OFF ON AUTOGRAPH SEEKERS – (01/22/2020)

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin unloaded on a couple of autograph collectors following a benefit show by the British band in Los Angeles on Monday night (January 20th).

According to TMZ, Martin was approached by what was described as several “assertive” autograph seekers shortly after the show. Instead of going patiently through the motions, Martin snapped at them and asked that they show him some “decency” after he played what he called a “s**tty” gig.

Martin did take a moment to collect himself and settled down quickly, proceeding to sign some items before hurriedly walking away.

The concert itself was a benefit for Reform LA Jails, which campaigns for alternatives to incarceration and prison reform. Coldplay’s intimate, 19-song set at the Hollywood Palladium featured a healthy serving of songs from the band’s new LP Everyday Life, as well as a few rarities.

One of those songs, the early fan favorite “Amsterdam,” was abandoned after Martin forgot the lyrics — prompting him to beg the audience, “Please don’t put this on YouTube.” Perhaps he was still thinking about it when he got hit up for his signature after the show.
