KATHERINE HEIGL REVEALS NEW BABY’S NAME: Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley have revealed their new daughter’s name: Adalaide Marie Hope. The couple recently expanded their family, which already includes daughter Naleigh, 3, who they adopted from South Korea in 2009. Adalaide was also adopted, but domestically.
RYAN BUYS ELLEN’S $49 MILLION HOME: Ryan Seacrest has purchased Ellen DeGeneres’s Beverly Hills estate, which was listed for a whopping $49 million. Although the sale price wasn’t disclosed, TMZ.com reported that Seacrest paid close to the asking price. Seacrest is now the proud owner of a 9,200 square foot mansion and three guest houses on 2.87 acres of land. Seacrest is reportedly worth around $125 million and makes $45 million a year through his various jobs.
COUGAR LINDA HOGAN SPLITS FROM CUB: Linda Hogan is single again. Hulk’s ex-wife — who is 54 — split from her boyfriend of four years, 23-year-old Charlie Hill. TMZ.com reported that the two “had a heart-to-heart about the future of their relationship” and realized that marriage would never work. It was reportedly amicable and no anger is involved.
ANGELINA BUYS BRAD A HELICOPTER: Angelina Jolie reportedly gifted her fiance Brad Pitt with a $1.6 million on a helicopter and flying lessons. A source told The Sun, “They’ve had a helicopter pad installed in the grounds of their south of France home, Chateau Miraval, so Ange thought it would be nice to buy Brad a helicopter as a surprise present. But even though Brad has his private pilot’s license, he still needs to take a few flying lessons, which he’ll start straight away.”
REAL HOUSEWIFE TO BECOME A GRANDMA’: One of the Real Housewives is about to become a Real Grandmother. Briana Wolfsmith, the daughter of OC’s Vicki Gunvalson is pregnant with her first child. A source told Usmagazine.com, “Briana is pregnant and just about four months along.” Briana, 24, and her husband Ryan eloped in Las Vegas last year, a surprise that Vicki is coming to terms with on the current season of the Bravo reality show.
‘AGT’ RATINGS FALL DESPITE HOWARD STERN: Despite Howard Stern’s much-hyped debut on America’s Got Talent, ratings for the show fell 16 percent from last year’s debut. The bright side? Stern got generally positive reviews for his judging abilities and the audience — 10.3 million — was still solid.
JULIANNE MOORE JOINS ‘CARRIE’: Julianne Moore has joined the upcoming remake of Carrie, which will star Chloe Moretz in the title role. Moore will play Carrie’s tyrannical mother. Moretz recently commented on the film, saying, “It’s darker and much more psychological (than the original). More Black Swan. You’re really looking into her mind and it really looks into the relationship of Margaret and Carrie. It’s set in modern time, so it’s a lot different.”
PARIS HILTON GETS A JOB: Paris Hilton has a new job: club deejay. The heiress/former reality star announced her new profession on Twitter, writing, “Yes! Getting behind the DJ booth with my own remixes in Brazil following @JLo at the Pop Music Festival! I am so excited to be a part of the Pop Music Festival to debut my DJ set! Love it!” GossipCop.com reported that Hilton has been hitting the Electronic Dance Music scene lately with her reported boyfriend, DJ Afrojack.
Halle Berry has explained why she went off on the paparazzi last week when they were in front of her daughter’s Nahla‘s school. In an interview with Extra, she said, “I hate that I lost my cool, but you know, I’m human. That happens and when it comes to my daughter – I’m ferocious. There are no laws here that protect our children and as a mom, coming to the school… not only my child, but all the children that are there. It’s just wrong, wrong, wrong.”
- She continued, “You know, I think I’m going call President Obama and say ‘look, can you help us?’ I know this seems like a little issue right now, but it’s a big issue in our lives and our lives at the school and our children being protected.”
The man who started all of John Travolta’s recent troubles wants the lawsuit he filed against the actor dropped. John Doe, who claimed that the actor assaulted him on January 16 at the Beverly Hills Hotel, filed papers on Tuesday (May 15th) to have the case dropped.
After John Doe’s claim went public, flight records and photographs proved that Travolta was in New York during the time of the alleged assault and therefore could not have committed the crime.
- It’s not all good news for Travolta; a second masseur is still going forward with a suit against the actor. John Doe #2 alleges that Travolta sexually assaulted him in an Atlanta hotel and supposedly has evidence to back up the claim.
