Gubernatorial Debate On TV Tonight

TWO DAYS AFTER THEY APPEARED IN A DEBATE IN NORTH CONWAY, DEMOCRATIC GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE MAGGIE HASSAN AND HER REPUBLICAN RIVAL OVIDE LAMONTAGNE WILL DEBATE AGAIN IN MANCHESTER.

THE LATEST POLLS SHOW THE CANDIDATES ARE IN A CLOSE RACE.

EACH HAS TRIED TO FRAME HIS OR HER OPPONENT’S VIEWS ON KEY ISSUES FOR VOTERS.

LAMONTAGNE IS USING A RELIABLE GOP STRATEGY TO TRY TO LABEL HASSAN AS A TAX AND SPEND LIBERAL.

HASSAN PORTRAYS LAMONTAGNE AS AN EXTREMIST WITH TEA PARTY TIES WHO WOULD TAKE AWAY THE RIGHTS OF WOMEN TO MAKE HEALTH CARE DECISIONS AND THE RIGHTS OF GAYS TO MARRY.

TONIGHT’S DEBATE STARTS AT 7 P.M. THURSDAY AND WILL BE TELEVISED LIVE BY WMUR-TV.
