HAYDEN PANETTIERE INVOLVED IN NASHVILLE CAR CRASH: TMZ is reporting that Nashville actress Hayden Panettiere was involved in a car crash earlier this month in Nashville. Hayden apparently ran a red light and the other vehicle made a turn into her lane which caused the star’s BMW to collide with a Geo Prism.
MARIO LOPEZ IS MARRIED: Mario Lopez is officially a married man. He and longtime girlfriend Courtney Mazza tied the knot at the Mexican beachfront home of Joe Francis. The couple have a two-year-old child together.
AMANDA BYNES LECTURES THE PAPARAZZI: Amanda Bynes was reportedly taking a casual stroll around New York City when she stumbled upon a group of photographers waiting for Justin Bieber. According to E! Online, she quickly grabbed a cab to escape the mob but stopped the cab to let them know that they were breaking the law.
ALEC BALDWIN RIPS THE NY POST: Alec Baldwin used his Twitter account to sling some mud at the NY Post after they accused him of cheating on his wife with his alleged stalker. He later deleted the tweets but not before calling out columnist Andrea Peyser saying, “Peyser spits on the DA and all women in one, poorly written, ultimately unmemorable column. #dontbuythepost”
JEMIMA KIRKE GIVES BIRTH: Girls actress Jemima Kirke has given birth to a baby boy. Kirke and her husband named their son Memphis. The couple also have a daughter named Rafaella.
REBEL WILSON WAS REJECTED FROM ‘GLEE': Rebel Wilson revealed to The Daily Telegraph that she was rejected from Glee during one of her first auditions in the US. She revealed that she was offered a guest spot but was too busy to accept it.
IS MILEY CYRUS TAKING OVER FOR ANGUS T. JONES?: Now that the half man in Two and a Half Men seems to want out, producers are reportedly trying to find a replacement for Angus T. Jones. There are rumors they are seriously considering Miley Cyrus since the episodes she appeared in were the highest rated of the season.
DR. DREW BRINGING AIDS SPECIAL TO MTV: Dr. Drew Pinsky will host a 60-minutes special on MTV on AIDS education. The special is called I’m Positive and follows the lives of three young people living with the disease.
SETH MACFARLANE TO GUEST STAR ON ‘THE SIMPSONS': Seth MacFarlane has signed on to lend his voice to an episode of The Simpsons to air in the fall of 2013. He will play a married man who tries to seduce Marge after they meet online.
ORIGINAL BATMOBILE TO BE AUCTIONED OFF: The batmobile used on the Batman TV series that ran from 1966 to 1968 will be sold at auction in January. The car was originally purchased for $1 from the Ford Motor Co. and then given a $15,000 makeover.
Lindsay Lohan’s recent arrest seemed to cause quite the media frenzy. The troubled actress has been a big topic of conversation on many news shows but HollywoodReporter.com is reporting that one DC newsman has had enough.
Fred D’Ambrosi asked his Twitter followers if his station, DC’s CBS affiliate WUSA9, should ban Lindsay Lohan stories from their newscast. The response was so overwhelming that D’Ambrosi cut a Lilo story scheduled for their 5 o’clock show on November 29th. Fred also tweeted his concern that the actress’ legal troubles might actually be newsworthy because “she keeps getting away with it.”
