125 Mile Traffic Jam In Russia

A traffic jam in Russia that started on Friday (November 30th) stretched from St. Petersburg and Moscow for 125 miles and lasted through Sunday (December 2nd). The massive jam was caused by storm that dumped three feet of snow in the area. One truck driver, who was frustrated with the lack of involvement from authorities, told reporters, “Drivers help one another and that’s it, the problems are on the side of the authorities, there are no gasoline tankers, no water, nothing, we are just stuck here.” Russian citizens reportedly took to social networks to complain about price gouging that happened along the highway. According to Nielson, one in three people using Twitter in June sent messages at some point about the content of TV shows, up 27 percent from only five months earlier. Nielsen VP of social media Deirdre Bannon said, “Twitter has become the second screen experience for television.” An estimated 41 percent of tablet owners and 38 percent of smartphone owners used their device while also watching TV at least once a day, and Nielsen also found that 35 percent of people who use tablets while watching TV looked up information online about the show they were watching.

Apple says the phone won’t come with a nano-SIM card, and purchases will have to get one from any supported GSM carrier worldwide.
