TONY SCOTT’S ESTATE BEING SUED: CAA talent agency is suing the estate of the late Tony Scott over fees that the director still owes his former agent. Creative Artists Agency is claiming that Scott owes $1,040,522 in commissions on several films and a video game project.
DUSTIN HOFFMAN BLAMES TMZ FOR CANCELLATION OF ‘LUCK’: Veteran actor Dustin Hoffman claims that misinformation reported by TMZ caused the cancellation of his HBO series Luck. Hoffman told Fox News that it was a collaboration between TMZ and PETA which brought the show down and not public outrage over the death of three horses during production.
ABC FAMILY EXEC HEADING TO MTV: Mina Lefevre has been hired as the new Senior Vice President and Head of Scripted Programming at MTV. Mina previously spent 12 years working as Vice President of Development and Programming at ABC Family.
JON FAVREAU DIRECTING NBC PILOT: Ironman director Jon Favreau has signed on to direct the pilot for NBC’s About A Boy. The half-hour sitcom is based on the 2002 movie which was adapted from a novel by Nick Hornby.
HIGH PRICETAG ON ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER’S SEX PHOTO: The photo discovered in Penthouse founder Bob Guccione’s storage facility allegedly showing Arnold Schwarzenegger engaging in an unspecified sex act is worth at least $150,000. YouPorn.com has sent a letter offering that price to Jeremy Frommer — the financier who discovered the picture.
BROOKE HOGAN DEFENDS HER DAD: Brooke Hogan has come to the defense of her father against the social media users who called him creepy for uploading a picture of his daughter that seemed a bit suggestive. Brooke tweeted, “A dad can’t even be proud of his daughter without sickos makin it something it’s not. Really?? Go back to your farm animals. #ignorant.”
ALEC BALDWIN TO AUCTION OFF ’30 ROCK’ AUTOGRAPH WALL: Alec Baldwin is auctioning off a part of the wall from his 30 Rock dressing room signed by nearly all of the show’s well-known guest stars over the past seven seasons. The auction is happening on CharityBuzz.com and will come to an end on February 23rd with all proceeds benefitting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids and the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
LINDSAY LOHAN SUES CLOTHING COMPANY: Lindsay Lohan has filed a $1.1 million lawsuit against a clothing company called D.N.A.M Apparel Industries over money she is supposedly owed for licensing of her trademarked “6126” brand. According to the suit, the company failed to come through on their end of an agreement to pay Lindsay and her partner hundreds of thousands of dollars in exchange for selling clothing under the “6126” label internationally.
KATE MIDDLETON’S FATHER WILL NOT GET A ROYAL TITLE: Although it was widely speculated that Kate Middleton’s father would be granted a royal title upon the birth of his grandchild, it will not be happening. Ian Denyer, Deputy Clerk of the Crown and head of the Crown Office told E! News, “No steps have been taken to honor, nor do I have any information in relation to the prospect of conferring a title upon the father of the Duchess of Cambridge.”

According to reports, Simpson started getting freaked out by Bradley’s foot fetish and his repeated requests for her to text him photos of herself below the ankles. A Source told the magazine, “He was always touching her feet. It was weird, so she broke it off.”
