Kim Kardashian caused an uproar on Twitter on Saturday (February 2nd) after uploading a picture of a bejeweled .22-caliber revolver to her Instagram account. The post came only a few weeks after she urged her followers to join her in signing a pledge to end gun violence in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
Kim quickly deleted the post but not before getting backlash from her followers. According to ABC News, one user said, “You have too much influence to be this blind and ignorant. Innocent children & people still die even if the gun is pretty.” Another wrote, “When everyone is debating gun control, this is what you post – as if it’s just a fun accessory?”
- This is not the first time that Kim has posted gun pictures. Back in November she posted a picture of herself shooting a gun with the caption “Bang bang.” She also posted the same caption under a picture of a gun designed by YSL back in June.
Cruise ship steward Fabian Zanzi has dropped his lawsuit against John Travolta only days after a judge refused to allow the case to go to arbitration. According to the Hollywood Reporter, no reason was given for the dismissal.
Zanzi claimed that the Grease actor disrobed and offered him money for a massage followed by uninvited kisses on his neck and a naked embrace. Travolta previously addressed the accusations saying, “While I was indeed a passenger aboard the MS Enchantment of the Seas in or about June 2009, Mr. Zanzi’s allegations in the Complaint are entirely false, including… a purported physical encounter with me and his allegations… regarding an alleged financial offer I made him. None of these events happened, and Zanzi’s allegations are pure fabrication.”
- It is suspected that the dismissal may be attributed to the financial burden that would be put on Fabian if the case did not resolve in his favor.
- Many suspect that a recent item about a $1.75 million payoff between an actor and his plaintiff on BlindGossip.com is about Travolta and Zanzi.
