MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY GETS HIS BODY BACK: After becoming emaciated to look like an AIDS victim in the upcoming Dallas Buyer’s Club, Matthew McConaughey has bulked up again for the film True Detectives. The 43-year-old was photographed with bulging biceps while wearing a tank top and sporting a fake tattoo for his new role.

AMANDA BYNES PHOTOGRAPHED IN PUBLIC: Amanda Bynes made a rare appearance in public on Thursday (March 14th) walking through the streets of New York sporting the blonde curls, red beanie, and cheek piercing she uploaded a picture of to Instagram a few days ago. This is the first time she has been photographed by the paparazzi since November.

TARA REID IS OFF THE WAGON: American Pie actress Tara Reid has been off the radar for a while and now she has resurfaced in Hollywood drunk and barefoot. The 37-year-old was photographed being escorted out of the Emerson Theater by a friend on Wednesday (March 13th) night looking pretty out of it and not wearing any shoes.

BETHENNY FRANKEL IS ‘SORTA GOOD': E! News caught up to reality star Bethenny Frankel while she was demonstrating a Skinnygirl Stiletto workout class in New York City. She told reporter Alicia Quarles, “I’m doing sorta good and sometimes crappy. I have a great life, I have a great daughter, I have good days and bad days…and you know, sometimes you feel like a nut and sometimes you don’t.”

GWYNETH PALTROW SELLING OFF HER CLOTHES: Gwyneth Paltrow raided her closet and chose some expensive designer items to put up for sale on her website with proceeds going to support various charities. All of the goods were sold out within hours of the posting.

ROBIN ROBERTS TO RECEIVE LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD: Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts will be honored by Diane Von Furstenberg with a lifetime achievement award at the fourth annual DVF Awards. The award will be given to her on April 5th at the ceremony being held at the United Nations.

ANG LEE TO DIRECT FX PILOT: Recent Oscar winner Ang Lee is following up his Life Of Pi win by directing a TV show for FX. Lee is set to direct the pilot for the upcoming drama Tyrant from the executive producers of Homeland.

CORBIN BLEU JOINS ‘ONE LIFE TO LIVE': High School Musical star Corbin Bleu has been cast in the online revival of One Life To Live debuting on April 29th. Corbin will play a young reporter named Jeffrey King.

WHAT IS NBC DOING TO ‘PARKS AND RECREATION’?: NBC announced some major scheduling changes to its programming which has fans concerned that the ratings-challenged sitcom Parks and Recreation may be on the chopping block. Though the fate of the series has not yet been decided, NBC sources say it is considered a “shoo-in” for next year.

CHRISTOPHER MELONI JOINS FOX COMEDY PILOT: Law & Order: SVU star Christopher Meloni is switching things up by taking a starring role in a new Fox comedy pilot. The untitled show is based on a book by Justin Halpern called I Suck At Girls.

Another Honor For Oprah

Forbes has named Oprah Winfrey the most influential Celebrity in America for the second year in a row. The magazine ranked celebrities based on E-Poll Market Research surveys — which asked Americans about celebs’ likeability traits and personality attributes.

Oprah was rated 48% influential. In second place was Director Steven Spielberg, who earned a 47% influential rating. Rounding out the top five were: Martin Scorsese, Ron Howard and George Lucas.

  • The celebs in the top 10 were: Dr. Oz (6), Barbara Walters (7), Bono (8), CNBC financial guru Suze Orman (9) and Clint Eastwood (10).

Carrie Fischer Cruise Ship Incident

Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher is clearing the air about her recent antics aboard the Holland America Eurodam cruise ship. Rumors about her falling off the wagon and having a breakdown spread quickly after a video surfaced on the web showing her bizarre performance on the boat.

Carrie denies that booze had anything to do with what happened and says this was one of the most extreme manic states she has ever experienced. She told People, “I know it got bad. I was in a very severe manic state, which bordered on psychosis. Certainly delusional. wasn’t clear what was going on. I was just trying to survive.” The 56-year-old believes the episode was triggered by a problem with her medication and her sleep cycle being off.

  • The video shows the actress slurring her words, mumbling, and noticeably impaired. At one point, her dog actually joins her on stage and proceeds to go to the bathroom in front of a shocked audience.
  • Following the events on the cruise, Fisher checked into UCLA’s psychiatric hospital for five days.
