It was another circus of insanity on Monday (March 18th) as Lindsay Lohan stepped in front of the judge. After arriving nearly 40 minutes late to the courthouse, Lindsay narrowly escaped being glitterbombed by an onlooker standing with the media.
According to TMZ, inside the courtroom an 11th hour plea bargain was reached which states that the 26-year-old will undergo 90 days in rehab, 30 days of community service, and 18 months of psychotherapy which she has already been attending for several months. She must also submit to drug testing.
- During the hearing, Lohan’s lawyer Mark Heller kept standing to speak which clearly annoyed Lindsay as she could be overheard yelling at him to stop speaking and, at one point saying, “Oh my god, I’m going to kill you.”
- When the sentence was passed and everyone left the court, Heller stayed behind to give a press conference which did not sit well with Michael Lohan who started heckling him from the crowd. Michael asked, “WHY ARE YOU STILL UP THERE? I WANNA KNOW, WHY ARE YOU STILL UP THERE!?!” Heller quickly left the podium which prompted Michael to take the mic and announce, “his guy is trying to CASH IN on my daughter’s notoriety for his own professional interests!” He also accused Mark of owing him a lot of money.
