ASHTON KUTCHER’S ‘JOBS’ GETS A RELEASE DATE: Ashton Kutcher’s Steve Jobs biopic jOBS will finally be released nationwide on August 16th. The film details the early life of Jobs from the early 1970’s through 2001 and co-stars Dermot Mulroney and Josh Gad.
MEGAN HILTY JOINS SEAN HAYES’ NBC SITCOM: Smash star Megan Hilty is sticking with NBC for a while longer after signing on to co-star in Sean Hayes’ new sitcom Sean Saves The World. Megan replaces Lindsay Sloane who played Sean’s best friend and co-worker in the pilot.
MTV RENEWS ‘GIRL CODE’: MTV has announced plans for a second season of their popular show Girl Code. The series is the most social MTV reality show and ranks in the top 10 for all TV shows each week on social media sites.
‘KIRSTIE’ TO STAGE ‘SEINFELD’ REUNION: Kirstie Alley’s upcoming sitcom on TV Land will stage a Seinfeld reunion when Jason Alexander shows up for a guest spot on the series which co-stars Michael Richards. Kirstie also co-stars Cheers actress Rhea Perlman.
FIRST PICTURE OF ROB LOWE AS J.F.K REVEALED: National Geographic channel has released the first photo of Rob Lowe playing John F. Kennedy in the upcoming movie Killing Kennedy. The movie is slated to air in November.
LINDSAY LOHAN SWITCHES REHAB FACILITIES: No more Betty Ford for Lindsay Lohan. TMZ is reporting that prosecutors approved a request for Lilo to finish her mandatory treatment at Cliffside rehab center in Malibu. The Betty Ford center is reportedly better suited for a 30-day program which Lindsay has now completed and has already settled into her new home.
MELISSA MCCARTHY ADDRESSES REX REED COMMENTS: In a recent interview with The New York Times, The Heat actress Melissa McCarthy addressed the negative weight comments made by Rex Reed in his review of her film Identity Thief. Melissa told the newspaper that her initial response to the pieces was “Really? Why would someone O.K. that?” She added, “I felt really bad for someone who is swimming in so much hate. I just thought, that’s someone who’s in a really bad spot, and I am in such a happy spot. I laugh my head off every day with my husband and my kids who are mooning me and singing me songs.”
AMANDA BYNES CLEARS THINGS UP ON TWITTER: Hairspray actress Amanda Bynes took to Twitter once again on Thursday (June 13th) to clear up a few things. She wrote, “For those asking, I’m voicing my opinion. I’ve been asked if I do drugs, I don’t do drugs for the last time!” She later wrote, “If you don’t like how I talk about you. Figure out why I’m talking about you in that way! ;)” Amanda also explained, “I could never marry a German because I’m Jewish.”
DONALD TRUMP HATES ‘MODERN FAMILY': Apparently millions of dollars can’t buy you a sense of humor. Donald Trump expressed his disdain for the ABC sitcom Modern Family on Wednesday (June 12th) by tweeting at executive producer Danny Zuker, “Just tried watching Modern Family – written by a moron, really boring. Writer has the mind of a very dumb and backward child. Sorry Danny!” Zuker responded by writing, “Your insults need work. Here’s one I’ve been working on: ‘Every picture you post of yourself is a dick pic.’ See?”
DARTH VADER BOY RAISES BIG MONEY FOR CHARITY: Child actor Max Page, best known for starring in the popular Volkswagen Super Bowl ad as Darth Vader, has been putting his fame to good use by raising more than $50,000 for people who can’t afford healthcare at Los Angeles Children’s Hospital where he serves as a Junior Ambassador. Eight-year-old Max has been through eight surgeries in his lifetime at the hospital including life-saving open-heart surgery just one year ago.
Halle Berry Expecting A Boy
Halle Berry‘s fiance has confirmed that she is expecting a baby boy. In an interview with People Magazine, Olivier Martinez said, “My son will be an American, but I remain French.” He added, “I’m French — it’s less important. Meaning, I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture. I feel good there — but I’m still a foreigner. My son will be an American.”
