LEANN RIMES & EDDIE CIBRIAN REALITY SHOW TO AIR ON VH1: VH1 has ordered a six-episode half-hour series tentatively title LeAnn & Eddie documenting the lives of tabloid staples LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian. The show will premiere in Fall 2013/Winter 2014. The couple released a statement saying, “We are really excited to be working together on a unique show that will give you a glimpse into who we really are or better yet who we’re really not. We’re thrilled to partner with VH1 and The Gurneys to put our spin on a project full of love, humor and music.”

‘INTO THE WOODS’ CASTS LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Viral video star Sophia Grace Brownlee who rose to fame singing Nicki Minaj’s “Superbass” has scored the role of Red Riding Hood in Disney’s film adaptation of the musical Into the Woods. The 10-year-old joins an all-star cast which includes Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep, and Anna Kendrick. Rob Marshall will direct.

ONE OF THE LAST REMAINING ‘WIZARD OF OZ’ MUNCHKINS HAS DIED: Margaret Pellegrini, who played multiple munchkin parts in The Wizard of Oz passed away at her home in Phoenix, AZ on Wednesday (August 7th) after suffering a stroke. She was 89. There are only two surviving munchkins from the 1939 classic film who are still alive to discuss their experiences being a part of making Hollywood history.

BRAVO DECIDES NOT TO MOVE FORWARD WITH ‘HEATHERS’ SERIES: The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Jenny Bicks’ TV series sequel to Heathers will not move forward at Bravo. This is the third scripted show the network has developed and ultimately passed on since announcing their plans to beef up non-reality programming on their schedule.

LEONARDO DICAPRIO WALKS ON WALTER: Leonardo DiCaprio was photographed hovering above the ocean while trying out a flyboard in Ibiza, Spain recently. The flyboard looks like a wakeboard but is connected to turbines and water jets to allow you to propel high into the air. AMANDA SEYFRIED SAYS ‘LOVELACE’ NUDE SCENES WERE LIBERATING: Lovelace star Amanda Seyfried told reporters at a press day for the film that she was totally comfortable doing the nude scenes. She explained, “It’s funny, because I felt liberated when I was doing it. I’m sure people that are very protective of me wouldn’t feel very comfortable with that, but it’s like, what’s the big deal? Growing up I was made to feel nudity was wrong because everything was always censored in movies, and it was just like, why are we covering ourselves up?”

MARLA MAPLES STILL LOVES DONALD TRUMP: Donald Trump’s ex-wife Marla Maples sat down with Oprah Winfrey on her Where Are They Now? series and revealed that she has lingering feelings for her former beau. She said, “I still love Donald. I love Eric and Ivanka and Donnie so much. I had the chance to know them when they were young and now to see how well they’re doing just touches my heart. We watch The Apprentice and I cry when I see the kids on it. I’m crazy, I’m that emotional person.”

JENNIFER ANISTON HATES BEING ASKED ABOUT HAVING A BABY: Jennifer Aniston was promoting her new film We’re the Millers to ABC and revealed her annoyance when reporters try to work in questions about her personal life by “trying to relate it to the movie with, ‘Oh, if I was to have a child how many kids do I want?’ And ‘do I want a boy or a girl?'” Jennifer joked, “I didn’t realize you could place orders! I honestly didn’t realize it was like a drive-through, that you could talk to a little electronic voice.” She added, “I surround myself with my amazing work, my amazing friends, my amazing partner, my beautiful dogs, and I tune that noise out. I mean, I think it’s very sweet that people want everything for me.”

GEENA DAVIS PUTS HER ‘A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN’ UNIFORM ON AGAIN: Geena Davis put her Rockford Peach uniform back on to film a commercial last Friday (August 2nd) — twenty-one years after A League of Their Own hit theaters. During last year’s 20th anniversary, Geena told Parade, “I certainly hoped people would like it and that it would be successful, but the success we had at the box office was a really big deal back then. TRAILER FOR ‘CBGB’ RELEASED: The first trailer for Randall Miller’s CBGB has been released online. The film takes audiences inside the famous punk rock music venue where Blondie, Talking Heads, The Ramones, and Patti Smith played legendary gigs.
