CHRISTOPH WALTZ SIGNS ON FOR ‘HORRIBLE BOSSES 2’: Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz has signed on to play Chris Pine’s father in the upcoming sequel to Horrible Bosses 2 despite previous reports that scheduling conflicts were preventing him from taking the role. It will be Waltz’s first attempt at slapstick comedy on the big screen. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on November 26th, 2014.
MTV RENEWS ‘CATFISH’: MTV has announced plans for a third season of Catfish. The show’s second season finale brought in 1.9 million viewers. Hosts Nev Schulman and Max Joseph also posted a video to the show’s official Facebook page to announce the big news. No word on when the new season will kick off.
MERYL STREEP WANTED FOR FEMALE VERSION OF ‘THE EXPENDABLES’: Deadline is reporting that Avi Lerner at Millenium Films is hoping to woo Meryl Streep to join the all-female version of The Expendables which is currently title The ExpendaBelles. Cameron Diaz and Milla Jovovich are also attached to the project. The script was written by Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith — the writing team behind 10 Things I Hate About You, Legally Blonde, and She’s the Man.
FOX ORDERS FULL SEASON OF ‘DADS’: Fox network has picked up Seth MacFarlane’s sitcom Dads for a full 22-episode season. Despite scathing reviews of the pilot which was called crass, sexist, and exploitative of racial stereotypes by critics, Fox chairman Kevin Reilly called the show “an asset we can grow.”
CBS MAY REBOOT ‘CHARMED’: Vulture is reporting that CBS has ordered a pilot for an updated version of Charmed. The original series ran for eight seasons on the WB. Aside from current popular witch-themed shows like American Horror Story: Coven and Witches of East End, the original Charmed still draws old and new viewers in syndication and on Netflix.
DAVID BECKHAM’S WEEKEND CAR CRASH: David Beckham was involved in a car accident as he pulled out of his driveway in Beverly Hills on Saturday (October 26th.) According to X17 Online, David’s 14-year-old son Brooklyn was also in the car but both walked away unharmed. Both vehicles were damaged in the incident and the police were called to the scene to take down an accident report.
CHRISTINA RICCI IS MARRIED: Christina Ricci married boyfriend James Heerdegen on Saturday (October 26th) at the Harold Pratt House and Peterson Hall in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. According to Us Weekly, the 33-year-old wore a high neck dress with white beaded long sleeves and a long train. The couple met on the set of Ricci’s canceled ABC series Pan Am where James worked as a dolly grip.
MATTHEW MORRISON OPENS UP ABOUT WEDDING PLANS: Glee star Matthew Morrison gave People magazine an update on his wedding plans to model Renee Puente. The actor revealed, “It’s going good. We’re a little ways out. Probably not till like 2015 so we’re just taking our time. But we’re well into it.” He added, “I want my wedding to kind of be a bunch of performances. I want all my friends to get up and sing. I have very musical friends so I just want it to be a fun night where everyone just, you know they want to step up to the mic and sing a song.”

GISELE BUNDCHEN AND TOM BRADY BUY NYC CONDO: Gisele Bundchen and hubby Tom Brady have reportedly dropped $14 million on a condo in New York City. According to Page Six, the three-bedroom, full-floor apartment is on the 47th floor of One Madison Park in the Flatiron District. Gisele’s ex Leonardo DiCaprio was also rumored to be a perspective buyer for another unit in the building for $50 million.
