HEIDI KLUM EXPLAINS OLD LADY HALLOWEEN COSTUME: Heidi Klum has always gone all out for her Halloween costume and this year she transformed herself into a 95-year-old woman. She explained the costume to People saying, “There was so much talk about me turning 40 this year and what it felt like to be older. I thought, really? I will show you old! She added, “I chose a vintage Chanel suit, because you can never go wrong with Chanel, no matter how old you are.”
PORTIA DE ROSSI ADMITS SHE DID NOT WANT TO BE GAY: Portia De Rossi revealed in an interview on The Conversation With Amanda De Cadenet last week that she struggled before coming out in 2005 because she perceived gay as being “strange.” She told the host, “I just didn’t want to be a lesbian. I’d never met one for a start and I just thought they were strange and that they hated men and they were very serious and I had these ridiculous images in my head and there were no out celebrities or politicians or anybody that I could look to and go, ‘Oh, I could be like that.’ There was nobody that I could say, ‘I could date her and I want to be like her’…I just kind of thought I don’t want to live like this. I don’t have to, I don’t need to, I just shut down the emotional life.”
JOSH BROLIN INVOLVED IN DRUNKEN BAR FIGHT: Actor Josh Brolin got into a drunken bar fight on Friday night (November 1st) with a bouncer when he wasn’t willing to leave O’Briens Irish Pub in Santa Monica at closing time. According to TMZ, Josh reportedly threw a few punches before the bouncer was able to convince him to hug it out and go on his way. He was arrested for another bar fight in Shreveport, LA back in 2009 while he was there shooting a movie and again on January 1st, 2013 for public intoxication.
ORLANDO BLOOM THANKS JOAN RIVERS FOR THE WARM WELCOME TO HER NYC NEIGHBORHOOD: Orlando Bloom was photographed by the paparazzi thanking Joan Rivers for giving him a warm welcome to her New York City neighborhood last week and sending him a cake. The actor held a piece of the cake along with a sign which read, “Thanks for the warm welcome, Joan darling. Come see me on Broadway!” The sweet exchange comes just one week after it was revealed that Orlando has been living separately from his wife of threee years, Miranda Kerr.
CAST OF ‘ENTOURAGE’ PARTY TOGETHER AFTER MOVIE ANNOUNCEMENT: The cast of Entourage hit the town together in West Hollywood on Friday (November 1st) following the official announcement that a movie version of the series will begin production next month. Jeremy Piven, Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, and Jerry Ferrara grabbed dinner and drinks at Laurel Hollywood before being joined by Emmanuelle Chriqui who uploaded a photo to her Instagram account with the caption, “Great to see everybody…” Kevin Dillon was not in attendance. ABC DECIDES FATE OF SEVERAL NEW SITCOMS: ABC announced on Friday (November 1st) that they have picked up freshman sitcoms The Goldbergs and Trophy Wife for full seasons. They also ordered four additional scripts for Rebel Wilson’s comedy Super Fun Night. It was also announced that the James Caan series, Back in the Game, will not move forward beyond the episodes that have already been filmed.
‘MODERN FAMILY’ BOOKS BIG GUEST STARS: Producers of Modern Family have booked three big name guest stars to appear in an upcoming episode entitled “Under Pressure.” 30 Rock star Jane Krakowski will play the mean girl mother of Manny’s classmate who spars with Sofia Vergara’s character Sofia, Jesse Eisenberg has signed on to play Asher — an eco-nut who lives next door to Mitch and Cam, and The Big C actor John Benjamin Hickey will play a therapist to the Dunphy family. The episode will film this week and is slated to air early next year.
ALLISON WILLIAMS WAS NOT TOP CHOICE TO PLAY MARNIE ON ‘GIRLS’: Page Six has revealed that Lena Dunham initially tried to recruit her real-life best friend Audrey Gelman to play the role of Marnie on her HBO show Girls. The role was reportedly offered to Allison Williams after Gelman turned down the gig to continue her job as spokeswoman for Manhattan borough president Scott Stringer. Audrey ended up appearing on the series as the new girlfriend of Christopher Abbott’s character in the show’s second season.
‘AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.’ TO STAGE ‘THOR: THE DARK WORLD’ CROSSOVER: ABC will air a special crossover episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on November 19th that will pick up where the upcoming sequel Thor: The Dark World leaves off. The episode will be called “The Well”. Deadline is reporting that no cast members from the film will be appearing in the episode.
LIFETIME CANCELS ‘THE CLIENT LIST’: Lifetime announced on Friday (November 1st) that the Jennifer Love Hewitt series The Client List has been cancelled after two seasons on the network. Jennifer is currently pregnant with her first child with fiance Brian Hallisay who co-starred on the series with her.
