Obamacare Information Session Tonight

THE CONWAY PUBLIC LIBRARY WILL HOST A FREE INFORMATION SESSION THURSDAY NIGHT NOV. 7, 2013 ABOUT THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT, ALSO REFERRED TO AS “OBAMACARE.”

MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ARE INVITED TO ATTEND AND LEARN ABOUT COVERAGE THAT’S AVAILABLE THROUGH THE NEW HEALTH INSURANCE MARKETPLACE.

SARAH KELSEA – ASSOCIATE STATE DIRECTOR FOR AARP IN NEW HAMPSHIRE – WILL BE ONE OF TWO SPEAKERS. SHE SAYS HER ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN HOLDING PUBLIC SESSIONS AROUND NEW HAMPSHIRE THAT LOOK AT THE NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE HEALTH INSURANCE MARKETPLACE.

MARY JANE JARRETT OF WHITE MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER IN CONWAY WILL ALSO SPEAK. SHE IS TRAINED AS A “HEALTHCARE NAVIGATOR” WHO HELPS PEOPLE CONSIDER DIFFERENT HEALTHCARE PLANS.

THURSDAY’S SESSION STARTS AT 6 P.M. AT THE CONWAY LIBRARY AT 15 EAST MAIN ST. AND WILL RUN ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF.

LIBRARY DIRECTOR DAVID SMOLEN SAYS AUDIENCE MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO BRING QUESTIONS, EVERYONE IS WELCOME, AND PEOPLE WHO DON’T CURRENTLY HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE ARE PARTICULARLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.
