ANGELA LANSBURY DOESN’T APPROVE OF NEW ‘MURDER, SHE WROTE’: Angela Lansbury is not pleased about the planned Murder, She Wrote reboot being planned at NBC starring Octavia Spencer. Angela told the Associated Press, “I think it’s a mistake to call it Murder, She Wrote because Murder, She Wrote will always be about a Cabot Cove and this wonderful little group of people who told those lovely stories and enjoyed a piece of that place, and also enjoyed Jessica Fletcher, who is a rare and very individual kind of person. So I’m sorry that they have to use the title Murder, She Wrote, even though they have access to it and it’s their right.” NBC has not yet officially settled on a title for the updated version.

PEREZ HILTON RESPONDS TO LADY GAGA’S USA TODAY INTERVIEW: The feud between Lady Gaga and Perez Hilton shows no signs of ending any time soon. Gaga recently addressed the tension to USA Today by saying, “It’s fine to hate me afar. Everyone can hate me from afar. But the second you try to move in next door to me, I know you’re getting too close, and it’s not safe. Already it’s stressful not feeling safe as it is. I have lots of security. I get death threats all the time. Some things bring out the New Yorker in me. If you hate somebody and you want to move next door to me, the only thing I can think of is that you’re moving in because you want to blow yourself up. There’s thousands and millions of apartments in New York. You don’t need to move in next door to me.” Perez tweeted a response on Sunday (November 10th) saying, “.@LadyGaGa I’ve got my son and mom here with me in NYC and you think I’m going to blow myself up? Stop doing drugs!! If you think marijuana is the only drug @LadyGaGa has been doing regularly in 2013, then you’re as delusional as she is.”

George Clooney Versus Russell Crowe
George Clooney may typically find himself surrounded by fellow Hollywood A-Listers but they don’t always play nice. The Gravity star opens up in the December issue of Esquire magazine about his relationship with pal Brad Pitt and his former feud with Russell Crowe.
George addresses his 2005 war of words with Crowe where the Gladiator star referred to him and other big name actors as sellouts for doing commercials. He recalls, “He picked a fight with me. He started it for no reason at all. He put out this thing saying, ‘George Clooney, Harrison Ford, and Robert De Niro are sellouts.’ And I put out a statement saying, ‘He’s probably right. And I’m glad he told us, ’cause Bob and Harrison and I were also thinking about starting a band, which would also fall under the heading of bad use of celebrity.’ And that’s when he really went off on me. ‘Who the f–k does this guy think he is? He’s a Frank Sinatra wannabe.’ He really went after me. And so I sent him a note going, ‘Dude, the only people who succeed when two famous people are fighting is People magazine. What the f–k is wrong with you?’” Clooney also says that Russell eventually apologized before they were going to see each other at Golden Globes by sending a disc of his music and some poetry with a note that claimed he had been misquoted.
- The 52-year-old had plenty of nice things to say about his friendship with Pitt saying, “For a long time now, Brad has been the biggest movie star in the world. He’s bigger than me, bigger than DiCaprio. And I really admire how he deals with that. It’s not easy for him. But he tries to be the most honest version of Brad Pitt that he can be. And he also remains unavailable. He’s still a giant movie star because you can’t get to him. That doesn’t mean that I don’t think of him as incredibly talented and smart and all those things. But you also can’t get to him.”
