FORMER CAST MEMBERS RETURNING TO ‘GLEE’ FOR 100TH EPISODE: Glee will be celebrating its 100th episode on March 18th and aside from allowing fans to choose which previously performed songs to remix for the show, Ryan Murphy has revealed that all of the original cast members have been invited back for the episode. It was announced on Tuesday (December 3rd) that Harry Shum Jr., Amber Riley, and Mark Salling will all appear in the episode. Ryan tweeted on Wednesday (December 4th) that Heather Morris has also agreed to return. It is unknown whether Dianna Agron plans to return after all of the rumors that she wasn’t invited back for the Cory Monteith tribute which aired back in October.

NETFLIX ANNOUNCES ‘HOUSE OF CARDS’ SEASON TWO PREMIERE DATE: Netflix announced on Wednesday (December 4th) that House of Cards season two will be available starting on Friday, February 14th. As was the case for the first season, all 13 episodes of the new season will be released at once. Netflix also released a statement about the season saying, “Francis — played by Kevin Spacey and Claire — played by Robin Wright — will continue their ruthless rise to power as threats mount on all fronts. The Underwoods must overcome these dangers — past and present — to avoid losing everything, regardless of collateral damage they leave in their wake.”

WARNER BROS CASTS WONDER WOMAN FOR ‘MAN OF STEEL’ SEQUEL: Fast & Furious 6 star Gal Gadot has landed the role of Wonder Woman in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel slated for 2015 which will also star Ben Affleck as Batman. Director Zach Snyder said in a statement, “Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.”

‘VERONICA MARS’ MOVIE COMING IN MARCH: March 14, 2014 is the date set for the release of the movie adaptation of Veronica Mars which is just being called Veronica Mars. Creator Rob Thomas told Entertainment Weekly, “Warner Bros. had this date circled for quite some time and hoped it would stay open. Luckily, no other teen detective movie decided to open in the middle of March.” Although it had initially been reported that the film would open in limited cities before being available on demand, Thomas also confirmed that the studio has decided to give it a wider, nationwide release.

NBC RENEWS ‘BLACKLIST’: NBC announced on Tuesday (December 3rd) that freshman drama Blacklist has been renewed for a second season. Network chairman Rob Greenblatt said in a statement, “The success of The Blacklist demonstrates that inspired storytelling is alive and well in broadcast television, and I’m impressed on a daily basis by this creative team’s imagination and the extent to which they will go to capture this grand vision on film. With gratitude to both our partners at Sony Pictures Television and our NBC development executives who took a great script and shepherded it into a great series, I hope that Red Reddington never runs out of names to bring down on his list!”


REPORT: ROBERT PATTINSON AND KRISTEN STEWART SPENT THANKSGIVING TOGETHER: Sources tell HollywoodLife.com that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are in such a good place that they spent Thanksgiving together last week before Rob went off to London to visit his family on December 2nd. A friend of Kristen told the website, “Kristen was the star chef on Thanksgiving and had a blast with Rob gobbling up all her food. They spent the holiday at her place in Los Feliz along with a few of her closest friends. It was very intimate and sweet.” The night reportedly included lots of candles and music before everyone sat down for dinner. The insider added, “I am sure if Kristen was invited to join Rob in London she would gladly go but there was no invitation. At first she was upset he was leaving the country for the rest of the holidays but she’s trying to stay positive. She’s got a ton of really supportive friends she can lean on. There’s no set date yet on when Rob and Kristen will see each other again.”

KATE HUDSON ISN’T INTERESTED IN A PIXIE CUT: Kate Hudson takes pride in her appearance and has learned a thing or two from spending time in makeup trailers but she says one beauty trend she won’t be getting into is the pixie haircut. When asked by People if she ever plans to enjoy the low-maintenance do, she responded, “No, not for me. If I had to do it for a role maybe, but I wouldn’t just do a pixie. I like having long hair. I have one friend and she almost has a long buzz cut and she looks gorgeous. But I don’t know how my ears would look in a pixie. I don’t know if it’s right for me.”

KERI RUSSELL’S HOME WAS BURGLARIZED: Former Felicity star Keri Russell was awakened early on Wednesday morning (December 4th) to find that her home was being burglarized. According to TMZ, the actress heard noises upstairs in her NYC townhouse and noticed that her living room window and front door were wide open when she got up to investigate. The thieves stole a handbag, a laptop, and a necklace. Police later found a father-son team a few blocks away trying to rob another house and they were taken in as the prime suspects in Keri’s burglary.

SHARON OSBOURNE BLASTS HER BROTHER FOR USING HER SON: The Talk host Sharon Osbourne has written an open letter to her brother David Arden to call him out for trying to cash in on her son Jack Osbourne’s Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis. Sharon alleges that Arden has been trying to sell stories about their dysfunctional relationship to UK tabloids for years and accuses him of now moving on to Jack. She wrote on Wednesday (December 4th,) “That’s as low as it gets, making money off my son’s MS. Jack was diagnosed in 2012, where have you been the last 18 months? You know how to reach me. You know how to reach the Osbournes.” David recently told the Mirror that he’s the only other person in their family who suffers from the disease and added, “I know when I was first diagnosed I wanted to speak to fellow MS sufferers. I’m sure Jack feels the same.”

CHRISTOPHER WALKEN ACCEPTED A RIDE FROM STRANGERS: A photo recently went viral on Reddit showing veteran actor Christopher Walken sitting in the back seat of a car with two of his fans in the driver and passenger seats. The fans spotted the 70-year-old walking in New York City last month and offered him a ride to his destination. One of the fans recalled the ride to the Gothamist saying, “He wasn’t weirded out by the situation. We were really nice and told him we were fans and would be honored to give him a lift. He was totally cool with it. When we stopped at his destination, he didn’t immediately get out. We finished the conversation.” According to the fan, they drove about 40 blocks down the city’s West Side and Walken even gave one of them acting advice.


Fast And Furious Production Shutdown

It was announced on Wednesday (December 4th) that Universal Pictures has decided to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 indefinitely in light of Paul Walker’s death on Saturday (November 30th.) The studio previously announced they would be on a temporary hiatus but now it seems they are taking more time to figure out the direction of the franchise.

Universal released a statement saying, “Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul’s immediate family and our extended Fast & Furious family of cast, crew and filmmakers. At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise. We are committed to keeping Fast & Furious fans informed, and we will provide further information to them when we have it. Until then, we know they join us in mourning the passing of our dear friend Paul Walker.”

  • It was also announced on Wednesday that the coroner determined Paul’s cause of death to be from “traumatic and thermal injuries.”
