Police in Ossipee say nine people ranging in age from 19 to 50 have been
arrested in a drug sweep for charges related to the possession and sale
of heroin.

Detective Sgt. Bob King says all nine were arrested Monday after a
lengthy investigation. Ossipee Police were assisted by the New Hampshire
State Police SWAT team, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and police
from Madison, Freedom and Effingham.

King says initial court hearings are expected to begin Tuesday for
21-year-old Aerielle Glazier of Wolfeboro; 21-year-old John Parsons and
42-year-old Steven Vantassel of Effingham; and 23-year-old Christopher
McCarthy, 33-year-old Mark Galloway, 35-year-old Jeffrey Lamarche,
19-year-old James M. Jennings, 26-year-old Casey Morgan and 50-year-old
Curt Dow – all of Ossipee.

King says the New Hampshire State Police SWAT team surrounded Dow’s
residence on Chickville Rd. in Ossipee Monday and negotiated with him
for about an hour before he surrendered. Police say Dow was out on bail
for similar charges related to an investigation in 2013.
