Supersized Tetris

Hundred of Tetris fans played the game on the side of a 29-story building. The Cira Centre, which has hundred poof LED lights embedded in it glass facade , was used as a “screen” for Tetris fans to play on the side of the building. The players used a joystick to maneuver the blocks and had to play about half-a-mile away. The spectacle, which celebrated the 30th anniversary of Tetris and kicked Philly Tech Week, was arranged by Frank Lee, and associate professor of digital media at Drexel University. Talk About Tattoo Regret

We have some very good tattoo artists in our area, but one of my fears about getting ink done was getting a tattoo that was messed up…  Like Taylor Rodriguez. Her tattoo was supposed to read, “The pain you feel today is the strength you feel tomorrow.”  The problem?  The artist added an extra “M” to tomorrow.  When the tattoo parlor’s receptionist pointed out the mistake, the artist responded, ‘You approved it. That’s not my fault.'”

Americans Uneasy About Snooping

A new poll concludes that a little more than half of Americans think that the big technology companies are snooping too much into people’s personal lives. For the poll by Reuters and Ipsos, 51 percent of respondents said they were worried about their privacy when using sites owned by Google, Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft and Twitter. The poll found concerns specifically about companies that track a user’s physical location, monitor spending habits, and collect personal communications.
