Conway Man Arrested For Parole Violation

Authorities arrested a Conway man in Walmart on Monday on a fugitive from justice warrant out of Texas.  According to the Conway Daily Sun, at approximately 11:35 a.m. the Conway Police Department, with assistance from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department, arrested Benjamin M. Sandoval, 29, of Conway.   Sandoval was at the North Conway Walmart to pick up a money transfer, according to a police statement, when he was arrested. Sandoval was wanted on a parole violation issued by the Collin County Texas Sherriff’s Department. Sandoval was on parole for burglary.  Sandoval is being held at the Carroll County House of Corrections pending extradition back to the Texas.
