A Conway man says he wishes he’d used lethal force against the stranger who invaded his home on Lock Shop Loop early Sunday morning. John Cimini was asleep on the couch when it happened, his wife and two children were asleep in their bedrooms. He heard a crash and saw a stranger standing in his living room. The stranger was Irving Day who allegedly threatened to kill the family with a gun. Cimini tells police that when the stranger looked at his wife, he grabbed him, threw him out the front door and shut him out. When police arrived, Day was struggling to get back into the home. Day is charged with burglary and attempt to commit burglary. He’s being held in lieu of 50 thousand dollars cash bail.
