FAFSA Insults Clients With Twitter Post

The twitter account for FAabc_fafsa_tweet_140624_16x9_608FSA or The Free Application for Federal Student Aid tweeted a picture that mocked the poor in their first tweet. The post read “If this is you, then you better fill out your FAFSA” along with a picture that said, “Help me, I’m poor”. The account then issued an apology for the post. (Happy Place)


‘Breaking Bad’ is the Most Binge-Watched TV Show Ever

In another sign of just how much Americans liked Breaking Bad, TiVo’s latest analysis of consumer watching habits found that the AMC show that aired from 2008 to 2013 is the most binge-watched TV show ever, with binge-watching defined as viewing three or more episodes of a show per day. The research found that 91 percent of people say they’ve binge-watched a show at some point, with 35 percent saying they’d binge-watched Breaking Bad, followed by Netflix’s House of Cards at 29 percent and HBO’s Game of Thrones, named by 25 percent. The most popular binge-watching genres are drama and crime drama, with reality shows next, then sitcoms and home improvement shows. Binge-watching was also strongly influenced by easy access to the shows, with a surge of Breaking Bad binge-watching as viewers tried to catch up on it before the series finale last fall.
