WALTER WHITE’S APPEARANCE ON ‘BETTER CALL SAUL’ EVEN MORE OF A REALITY: Peter Gould, executive producer of Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul, has revealed that there is strong potential for Bryan Cranston to come back to appear alive as Walter White on the series. He told the New York Daily News, “One of the great things about having a time line which is flexible is that perhaps some of it takes place before Breaking Bad, during Breaking Bad, and after Breaking Bad. That gives us the ability to bring back characters that were killed on Breaking Bad.” Cranston and co-star Aaron Paul have both expressed interest in being a part of the new series. AMC has already renewed the series for a second season despite the first season not even debuting until 2015.

The 29-year-old told the website, “I came out to Lea Michele and to my friends and my family, and in retrospect, when I look back now and I think about what it was like to be closeted, I think, ‘The release and relief and just the way that life gets better after you stop living a compartmentalized existence is major and is something you can’t really understand until you finally take that leap.” Groff added, “I feel like Spring Awakening, in retrospect, helped me get there. I didn’t realize how closed off I was, and I was not living my fullest life until I finally came out.”

Robert said, “Unfortunately there’s a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it. Also, there is a lot of family support and understanding, and we’re all determined to rally behind him and help him become the man he’s capable of being. We’re grateful to the Sheriff’s department for their intervention, and believe Indio can be another recovery success story instead of a cautionary tale.”

  • TMZ is reporting that Indio has allegedly been struggling with substance abuse for several years and his father had been trying to help him through. He was reportedly in a long stretch of sobriety before this latest slip-up.

Zendaya Bails On Aaliyah Project

Zendaya’s decision to drop out of playing Aaliyah in Lifetime’s TV movie was apparently due to the quality of the project. The Disney star chatted with MTV on the red carpet of Sunday’s (June 29th) BET Awards where she explained her reason for pulling out of the gig.

The 17-year-old said, “I just felt the project wasn’t 100 percent there. I feel that production wise everything just felt a little rushed. And I think because she’s someone I admire and I love so much, it can’t be done halfway, or not to a standard I think it should be done at, so I just decided not to do it. By all means, when the right project comes along and it’s done the right way I’ll be the first person ready to play Aaliyah, but this wasn’t the right one for me.”

  • The network revealed earlier that day that the entire production is on hold now that Zendaya is not involved.
