PRODUCTION DELAYED ON ‘BIG BANG THEORY’ OVER SALARY DISPUTES: Production on the eighth season of The Big Bang Theory has been pushed because of ongoing salary negotiations with the show’s main stars. Warner Bros TV issued a statement on Wednesday (July 30th) saying, “Due to ongoing contract negotiations, production on The Big Bang Theory — which was originally scheduled to begin today — has been postponed.” Deadline is reporting that both sides are close to making a deal. ALLISON WILLIAMS IS GOING TO BE PETER PAN: NBC has booked Girls actress Allison Williams as Peter Pan for their upcoming holiday special, Peter Pan Live. Christopher Walken has already been announced as Captain Hook. The network released a statement saying, “We couldn’t be happier that Allison Williams is our Peter Pan. She’s a lovely rising star on the award-winning show Girls — where she occasionally shows off her incredible vocal talent — and we think she will bring the perfect blend of ‘boyish’ vulnerability and bravado to save the day against Christopher Walken’s powerful Captain Hook. What’s been hard is we’ve actually had several women who wanted to do it but they’re either busy or can’t fit it in to their schedules. Because I need that person from Aug. 5 to Dec. 5. And so that knocks out the Kristen Bells of the world, who is someone I talked to about doing it. But she’s doing House of Lies.”

Saved by the Bell is not on anymore, so I think I missed my chance. There’s so much good stuff on TV. Maybe I can play what’s his name? Hoder on Games of Thrones, the guy who only says, ‘Hoder.’ Maybe I could be his cousin or something, his long lost cousin.”
‘NASHVILLE’ NABS LAURA BENANTI: ABC’s Nashville has booked Tony winner Laura Benanti for a guest starring gig on the upcoming season. KELSEY GRAMMER FORGIVES HIS SISTER’S MURDERER: Kelsey Grammer testified in the parole hearing of Freddie Glenn — the man responsible for murdering his sister, Karen Elisa Grammer, back in 1975 in Colorado Springs. The Frasier star said via video conference, “I miss her all the time. I accept that you live with remorse. But I live with tragedy every day. I accept your apology. I forgive you. However, I cannot give your release my endorsement. To give that a blessing would be a betrayal of my sister’s life.” According to Gossip Cop, Glenn’s request was denied and is allowed to reapply in three years.

All the little things that I read about myself. I’ve literally developed a thick skin. Now I completely tune out. I don’t notice, I don’t read into things, I don’t get offended, I don’t get upset — you can literally say anything you want. You can’t hurt me with words because I welcome freedom of speech, given where I come from.” He added, “So that’s why, to everyone out there, who thinks of me anything they think of me — you’re welcome. Congratulations. And use this. This whole freedom of speech thing is a blessing in this country. I can’t be offended.”
BRIAN SINGER ACCUSER LOSES HIS LAWYER: The man accusing director Bryan Singer of sexual abuse has lost his lawyer after refusing to sign a $100,000 settlement. Buzzfeed is reporting that all parties involved agreed to the settlement back in June but the accuser, Michael Egan, changed his mind at the last minute. He told the website, “This exact kind of take-it-and-shut-up deal is why I decided to stand up in the first place. Being silenced goes completely against what I believe in and offers no protection for other vulnerable children.”

Kim And Khloe Versus Adrienne
Khloe and Kim Kardashian aren’t just going to sit back and let a Cheetah Girl talk badly about their brother. The reality stars took to Twitter to defend Rob Kardashian’s honor after news broke of Adrienne Bailon’s interview in the new issue of Latina magazine.
Adrienne, who dated Rob from 2007 to 2009, told the magazine, “To be stuck with that Kardashian label, that was so hurtful to me and to my career. I probably realized that too late — not that it would’ve affected my decisions in terms of who I dated, but it would’ve affected my decision to appear on the show. To this day, people will still say, ‘You ruined Rob’s life!’ and I’ll think, ‘Damn, I was still playing with Barbie dolls when I met him.’ It’s common knowledge that he cheated on me. It always bothered me that people were like, ‘Pero, why couldn’t you forgive him?’ Why are women always the ones who have to forgive? If you cheated on a man, he would be like, ‘You’re disgusting, and I want nothing to do with you.’ But women, we’re supposed to be like, ‘He messed up. He made a mistake.’ In my situation, it wasn’t like, ‘Oh my God! I made a mistake!’ He strategically planned things out so that he could cheat on me, and that to me was so disloyal.”
- Kim took to Twitter on Tuesday (July 29th) to write, “Funny how she says being with a Kardashian hurt her career yet the only reason she has this article is bc she is talking about a Kardashian. #LetItGoooooLetItGoooooo (FROZEN VOICE)” She added, “So sad when people try to kick my brother when he is down #FamilyForever.”
- Khloe retweeted Kim’s post as well as a fan who wrote, “Adrienne has a lot of nerve to talk s*** about Rob when he is obviously dealing with s***.” The 30-year-old responded, “Thought her and I were cool SMH.” Another follower asked if Kim was throwing shade at Adrienne to which Khloe answered, “Don’t think it was a secret. For sure. Don’t kick my brother while he’s down.”
- Adrienne has yet to respond.
