Arnold’s ex-housekeeper, Mildred Baena, brought along their 16-year-old Joseph to crash the party. They were photographed outside of the theater watching as the stars make their entrance.
BLAKE LIVELY WANTS CHILDREN WITH RYAN REYNOLDS: Blake Lively appears in the September issue of Marie Claire where she discusses her future plans with hubby, Ryan Reynolds. She says, “If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would.” The 26-year-old also reveals her favorite part about hanging out with Ryan saying, “The best part is when we turn off our phones and just talk and hang out. He’s my best, best friend. What do you do with your best friend? You do nothing.”
DWAYNE JOHNSON BRINGS HIS MOM HOME: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson welcomed his mother home from the hospital on Tuesday (August 12th) where she had been recovering from the car accident involving a drunk driver last week. The Fast & Furious star shared a picture on Instagram and wrote, “Takin’ mama home. Banged up, but she’s a tough one and will make a full recovery. Grateful to see her smile. And thank you guys for all the prayers, love and well wishes. #GratitudeAndBearHugs #ChoicesMatter #100PercentPreventable #DontDrinkAndDrive” Dwayne’s cousin, Lina Fenene, was also in the car with his mother.
HARLEY PASTERNAK REVEALS MEGAN FOX’S ‘NINJA TURTLES’ DIET: Celerity trainer Harley Pasternak recently chatted with Us Weekly about Megan Fox’s strategy to get in shape for her role as April O’Neil in Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He explained, “She eats carbs. She just eats the right carbs. She has a low-sugar diet. It’s so sustainable, it’s so moderate, she’s not doing any zero this/zero that. She eats three meals and two snacks a day. She’ll have protein, fiber, and healthy fat every meal. She is living a low-sugar lifestyle, definitely…She has definitely buckled down and she is amazing.” He added, “Here’s a busy mom of two kids, well really three kids, and she’s doing it. She’s sticking to it, and she realized she doesn’t have to make elaborate meals in the kitchen. In the morning she’ll do a smoothie or an egg white omelet with some avocado as healthy fats. ASHTON KUTCHER’S WEBSITE ACCUSED OF PLAGIARISM: Ashton Kutcher’s A+ Viral website is being accused of plagiarism. The Daily Dot is reporting that the site has used articles without proper citation from a number of other online outlets. Some of the alleged stolen content was taken from Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, Cracked, and other popular blogs. A+ calls itself, “the fastest growing site in the history of the Internet” and claims to have 30 million unique monthly visitors.
EMMA STONE MAY BE HEADING TO BROADWAY: Emma Stone is reportedly in negotiations to make her Broadway debut in the revival of Cabaret. She will replace Michelle Williams who will be vacating the role of Sally Bowles in November. Alan Cumming is expected to stay in the show as the M.C. — the part that won him a Tony back in 1998. The show is scheduled to run through January 4th, 2015.
‘NEW GIRL’ RERUNS SNAPPED UP BY TBS AND MTV: TBS and MTV have scored the syndication rights to Zooey Deschanel’s Fox sitcom, New Girl. Reruns on the show will start airing on both networks weekdays in the fall of 2015. The deal allows each station to air the hit comedy for the next five years.
NEW BRAD PITT FILM TO RELEASED EARLY: Fury, the new Brad Pitt movie co-starring Shia LaBeouf, will hit theaters a bit earlier than initially planned. Sony has announced that the film will start playing on October 17th rather than November 14th. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Fury is set during the final months of the war, and as the Allies make their final push in Europe, a battle-hardened U.S. Army tank commander, played by Pitt, leads his crew on a dangerous mission to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.”
COMEDY CENTRAL RENEWS ‘@MIDNIGHT’: Comedy Central wants more @Midnight. The show has been renewed for a 40-week second season. The new batch of episodes will premiere in 2015. Chris Hardwick will stay on as host of the late-night game show.
CHORD OVERSTREET WILL BE ON THE FINAL SEASON OF ‘GLEE’: Chord Overstreet has confirmed that his character, Sam, will be back for the final season of Glee. He attended Monday night’s (August 11th) premiere of The Expendables 3 where he told E! News, “Back to work in September. I assume I will be in all of the episodes.” He also teased, “I know I am back in Ohio at the school. I know the writers are three to four episodes in right now and from what I’ve heard it’s really fun stuff.”
Neil Patrick Harris Says Kids saved His Relationship
Using a surrogate to have twins, Harper Grace and Gideon Scott, helped Neil Patrick Harris renew his love for partner David Burtka. The former How I Met Your Mother star opens up in the new issue of Glamour magazine about how becoming parents made him see a whole new side of his fiancé.
Neil tells the magazine, “Honeymoon phases end. They just do. I think you have to find new elements that turn you on, and not only sexually. Having kids was one of those great moments for me. Watching David become another level of person, mastering this other domain, made me look at him with a whole other set of appreciative eyes. That made me re-fall in love with him.” The 41-year-old goes on to say, “That’s another important thing to realize. Everyone falls out of love with everything. You fall out of love with your house. You fall out of love with your job. You just have to figure out ways to keep the love alive.”
Lauren Bacall Passes
Robbert de Klerk, co-manager of the Humphrey Bogart estate, broke the news on behalf of the actress’ son, Stephen Bogart, by announcing, “Ms. Bacall passed away peacefully at her home in New York City earlier today.” Lauren’s grandson told CNN, “She apparently had a stroke. A pretty massive stroke. That’s what happened. She was, you can say she was a tough personality. She wanted the best and if you weren’t doing the best she let you know about it. She was a great person. Catch her on a bad day it could be interesting. She was a good grandma. She was lucky to have a pretty unique life.”
