GEORGE CLOONEY’S GIRLFRIEND INVOLVED IN COCAINE SCANDAL: George Clooney’s girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis has been linked to a nightclub scandal involving a prostitution ring and cocaine that has lead to the arrest of five people. RadarOnline.com reports that the two Italian nightclubs in question were celebrity magnets before they were busted for allegedly setting up private escorts and free cocaine for VIP patrons. The website noted that although Menzel won’t be coaching the rival team, she’s expected to appear in season two.

BOB BARKER CLARIFIES DREW CAREY COMMENTS: Bob Barker is doing damage control in the wake of his seemingly negative comments about his The Price Is Right successor Drew Carey. Diana Ross‘ sister, Dr. Barbara Ross-Lee has denied that she has a love child with Michael Jackson. According to TMZ.com, Dr. Ross Lee has said that she is sure that the woman claiming she is her daughter, Mocienne Petit Jackson “is not my daughter” and added that Jackson is “delusional” and calls the situation nothing short of “bizarre.”Dr. Ross- Lee also said that it is impossible that she conceived a baby with MJ because she has never met him. She added that in the past, Jackson “was really harrasing me at my office” — and was forced to have her employer contact the police to get her to stop.

Yale’s English Department Chair Michael Warner denied the actor’s claim, saying, “As a grad student in our program, he would not ordinarily teach until his third year. [Franco] was referring to another project: a proposal for a college seminar that did not work out for this year.” Franco had announced his teaching plans on Good Morning America last week.

Filming will take place in Sweden ahead of the projected December 2011 release.

BRITTANY MURPHY’S MOM DENIES MOLD REPORTS: Brittany Murphy’s mother says that reports that a toxic mold may have contributed to the death of her daughter and Simon Monjack are “absurd.” Sharon Murphy told People magazine, “I have never been personally asked by the coroner or anyone from the Health Department to come and inspect my home for mold. After Sharon “went crazy” on Hauserman during the show’s reunion episode, Megan sued for battery, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress, claiming her face was scratched and hair pulled by Osbourne. DID MOLD CONTRIBUTE TO MURPHY/MONJACK DEATHS? Authorities are investigating whether mold might have contributed to the deaths of Brittany Murphy and her husband Simon Monjack. GossipCop.com reports that findings of mold in the couple’s home surfaced early in the investigation into Murphy’s death, but it was determined “not to be a contributing factor.” Suspicions have supposedly returned as pneumonia was a cause of death for both and the presence of mold could explain damage to their respiratory systems. Although she initially refused, Sharon Murphy has since given the Department of Public Health access to the home.

CASEY AFFLECK SUED: Casey Affleck has been hit with a $2 million sexual harassment lawsuit by a producer on his Joaquin Phoenix documentary, I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix. Amanda White claims that Affleck acted inappropriately while directing the film and says she experienced “uninvited and unwelcome sexual advances in the workplace.” She added that Casey became “hostile and aggressive” when she denied his advances in a San Francisco hotel and “violently grabbed her arm in an effort to intimidate her into staying.” Affleck’s lawyer responded: “The allegations brought upon our clients are preposterous and without merit. Ms. White was terminated from the production over a year ago. She and her lawyers believe that this maliciously and erroneously filed complaint will cause the producers to succumb to her outrageous and baseless demands. She is mistaken.” Casey is married to Joaquin’s sister, Summer.

ZSA ZSA GABOR REPORTEDLY STILL CRITICAL AFTER BLOOD TRANSFUSION: Zsa Zsa Gabor is reportedly in critical condition after receiving a blood transfusion over the weekend. The 93-year-old’s husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt said Saturday that doctors are hopeful new medication will help his wife recover. He said that Gabor is conscious and was able to squeeze his hand and whisper a few words Saturday morning. Zsa Zsa underwent hip replacement surgery last week after falling out of bed last weekend.

Earlier this month, Miranda said during an interview, “I have always been very open about wanting to be a mother one day. And I’ve always thought Orlando would be a great dad. HALLE BERRY REPORTEDLY IS GRAFITTI VICTIM: Police visited Halle Berry’s Los Angeles home on Friday after the actress spotted graffiti on her property. TMZ.com reports that a random portrait of Indian spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi was spray painted onto her gate. Detectives are reportedly investigating, but no suspects have been named. The portrait has since been removed.

NEW MAN FOR KATE WINSLET? Kate Winselt may have a new man in her life. News of the World claims that the actress — who recently split from husband Sam Mendes — is dating model Louis Dowler. A source revealed, “They’ve been on lots of dates and get on really well. It’s early days for them but they enjoy each other’s company.”

HARRISON FORD MAKES COMIC-CON DEBUT: Despite his Star Wars past, Harrison Ford had never appeared at Comic-Con — until Saturday. The actor made a surprise appearance at the convention where he was greeted with a standing ovation that Yahoo claims was “unmatched by any other during this year’s event.” Ford showed up to promote his new film, Cowboys & Aliens with Daniel Craig, Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde and director Jon Favreau. The movie, which comes out next summer, is reportedly a combination of Western and  Sci-fi genres.

‘GLEE’ DOING ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW: Glee is going to feature a Rocky Horror Picture Show episode in season two. Co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed the news at Comic-Con. He also teased, “The next season will be more intimate. Those characters pop so much that I want to see a whole episode of Brittany, a whole episode of Artie and Tina,” adding that there will be more tribute episodes.

ERIC ROBERTS CHECKS INTO ‘CELEBRITY REHAB’: Julia Roberts’ brother Eric Roberts has reportedly joined the cast of Celebrity Rehab. It’s unclear exactly what he is seeking treatment for as publicist Chuck Jones simply said, “It’s not for anything serious. He’s not hooked on prescription meds or hard drugs or anything like that.” Roberts — whose daughter is actress Emma Roberts — was arrested in 1987 for cocaine and marijuana possession. He joins the likes of Jeremy London and Leif Garrett on the show.

MORE ‘AVENGERS’ STARS ANNOUNCED: Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner have joined Marvel’s upcoming movie, The Avengers. Robert Downey Jr. announced at Comic-Con that Ruffalo will play The Hulk while Renner will play Hawkeye. Other stars include Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.

LINDA HAMILTON JOINING ‘CHUCK’: Linda Hamilton is joining Chuck. Executive producer Josh Schwartz said of the former Terminator star, “She’s been such an icon as an action-female badass mom. The fans put it out there, and she heard about it, and was like, ‘I heard I’m Chuck’s mom.’”
