SEAN PENN’S SON REPORTEDLY ARRESTED: Sean Penn’s 16-year-old son was reportedly arrested last week. RadarOnline.com reports that Hopper Jack was taken into custody by the L.A. County Sheriff’s department, but because of his age, authorities will not release details as to why he was arrested or if any charges have been filed. One source did tell the website that the younger Penn was busted at the school he attends in Malibu. Hopper’s parents, Sean and Robin Wright, are currently in the midst of a divorce.

JON GOSSELIN SAYS KATE ‘SLIPPED UP’ DURING INTERVIEW: Jon Gosselin reacted to his estranged wife TLC special on Tuesday (November 2nd), tweeting that Kate “slipped up” during her interview with Natalie Morales. After Kate cried while recounting their troubled marriage, Jon wrote, “Kate even slipped last night and admitted we split up a year ago! Though she claims she ‘didn’t remember’ who called it quits. Hey at least she said ‘didn’t remember’ instead of lying.”

DENIAL DOESN’T STOP PATTINSON-STEWART ROMANCE RUMORS: A day after Vanity Fair released an interview with Rob Pattinson in which he claimed to only be “friends” with Kristen Stewart, reports are surfacing that the pair spent the night at a hotel together last week. Usmagazine.com reports that after the two emerged from Hollywood’s famed Chateau Marmont, “Rob wanted a cigarette so he went outside with Kristen for about 15 minutes. They were hugging, as Rob was smoking his cigarette and then he leaned down and kissed her on the lips. He had his arm around her almost the whole time.”

KATE WINSLET WINS DAMAGES OVER ARTICLE: Britain’s Daily Mail must pay $40,000 in damages to Kate Winslet after running an article earlier this year under the headline, “Should Kate Winslet win an Oscar for the World’s most irritating actress?” in which she was accused of lying about her exercise regime. The actress commented on the ruling, saying, “I am delighted that the Mail have apologized for making false allegations about me. I was particularly upset to be accused of lying about my exercise regime and felt that I had a responsibility to request an apology in order to demonstrate my commitment to the views that I have always expressed about body issues, including diet and exercise. I strongly believe that women should be encouraged to accept themselves as they are, so to suggest that I was lying was an unacceptable accusation of hypocrisy.”

FORMER MISS CALIFORNIA AND PAGEANT SETTLE LAWSUITS: The former Miss California, Carrie Prejean has made peace with the pageant that fired her. A joint statement released on Tuesday (November 3rd) revealed that Prejean and the pageant organizers had reached a confidential settlement on dueling lawsuits. Prejean had sued the pageant for libel, slander and religious discrimination, claiming they told her to stop mentioning God even before her controversial remarks about gay marriage. The pageant then countersued the beauty last month.

SIMON COWELL DOES A GOOD DEED: Simon Cowell has reportedly donated over $100,000 so that an 18-year-old could receive emergency treatment for her rare disease. PerezHilton.com reports that the so-called “king of mean” was informed of the girl’s case by X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, and he contributed to the cause. Sources said that since the girl can now fly from the UK to New York for the emergency treatment, her chances of survival have jumped from 20 percent to 90 percent. ‘TERMINATOR’

ACTOR CHARGED WITH DUI: Terminator actor Thomas Dekker has been charged with two counts of DUI stemming from his arrest last month. TMZ.com reports that the actor will be arraigned on Friday (November 6th). Dekker, who played John Connor on the television show, allegedly was drunk when he crashed his car into a 17-year-old who was riding his bike near a Freeway on-ramp. The victim was treated for minor injuries.

KIRSTIE ALLEY GETTING REALITY SHOW: Kirstie Alley is reportedly set to star in an unscripted series for A&E. Variety reports that the network has ordered ten half-hour episodes of the series, which will follow the actress as she “struggles with weight loss while handling life as a single mom to two teenagers in Hollywood.” A network executive commented on the series, saying, “Kirstie is exactly the kind of star A&E is drawn to. Her personal life has been playing out in the media for years, but this will be the first time she’ll be opening up her home to reveal her real life for the cameras.” HEIDI KLUM REPORTEDLY HOSTING

VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW: New mom Heidi Klum won’t be walking in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show this year — but she will reportedly be hosting the event. A source told E! News that the supermodel decided before the birth of her daughter three weeks ago that hosting would be a better fit for the December 1st event. She told the program in August, “The last time [I gave birth], I had two months, and I don’t know if I have that much time this time. It was pushing it the last time. But if I don’t make it, I’m sure I’ll be very sad.”

DETAILS OF SEINFELD REALITY SHOW REVEALED: Comedian Tom Papa will star on the Jerry Seinfeld-produced reality show that is heading to NBC. The Hollywood Reporter announced that Papa — who served as Seinfeld’s opening act on tour — will act as a judge for couples who need a third party to settle their arguments. Their cases will be laid out before a panel of comedians and celebrities before “the Ref” decides which spouse is correct. Production on the series is set to begin in January.

E! NEWS BRANCHING OUT TO ASIA: E! is launching a news program in Asia. Comcast Corporation announced on Tuesday (November 3rd) that E! News Asia will join local editions of the E! News brand, which currently has editions in Italy, France, Germany, Poland and Latin America.

Michael Lohan wants to follow in Jamie Spears’ footsteps. Lindsay Lohan’s dad, whose been publicly maligned by the starlet and her mother after speaking about his daughter’s supposed drug addiction, told the New York Post, “I am going to go to court to get a legal conservatorship to get Lindsay into rehab and finally get her off all the prescription meds. [Wife] Dina is going to sit down with me and the lawyers and make things right for Lindsay. She is taking Adderol, Xanax, Paxil. She’s a beautiful girl but she looks 100 years old.”

• Although Lindsay’s mother Dina recently said that the 23-year-old wants a restraining order issued against her dad, Michael appeared on Entertainment Tonight earlier this week and released phone messages from Dina saying she fears Lindsay will overdose.
• He added, “She told me she fears Lindsay will end up like Heath Ledger.”
