MARLA SOKOLOFF MARRIES ALEX PURO: Private Practice star Marla Sokoloff and Deadsy drummer Alex Puro were married in front of family and friends in a traditional Jewish ceremony at a Beverly Hills restaurant on Saturday (November 7th). According to E! Online, the bride, who is 29, wore a cream strapless silk bridal gown with a black sash and carried a bouquet of purple, orange and red roses.

  • Sokoloff plays the receptionist Lucy on Private Practice. Next week, she’ll star in a Hallmark movie called Flower Girl.

GEORGE CLOONEY SWEARS OFF FARM ANIMALS: The star of the new movie Men Who Stare at Goats says he’s staying away from farm animals and children in future roles. George Clooney co-stars with a goat in the dark comedy about a goofball team of psychic warriors who practice their skills on goats. Next, he’ll be heard as the voice of the title character in the animated movie The Fantastic Mr. Fox, set to open Nov. 13. But after that, Clooney told CNN during an interview in London: “No more farm animals, and no more children!” Although he does admit that the goat he co-stars with in Men Who Stare At Goats is “a particularly nice goat, and a great actor.”

MICHAEL LOHAN SECRETLY TAPED LINDSAY: Daddy Dearest Michael Lohan may have tried to sell secretly recorded conversations between his daughter Lindsay Lohan and his wife Dina Lohan, according to The New York Post. When the TV networks declined to pay for the tapes, he gave the recordings for free to RadarOnline.com, but the site agreed to pay him for an interview later, according to The Post. Lohan says he will continue releasing secretly taped conversations until Lindsay checks into rehab. Her father claims she is addicted to prescription drugs. He told The Post: “This isn’t about money or getting paid, it’s about saving my daughter.”

BRITNEY LIP-SYNCS? WE’RE SHOCKED, SHOCKED! Hundreds of Australian fans walked out of a Britney Spears show in Perth, Australia on Friday night after the first few songs, when they realized the pop tart was just lip-syncing her biggest hits. One fan who drove two hours to get to the concert said, “I want my money back or I want her to sing properly. It cost me half a week’s wages.” Even the Australian government has gotten involved. Virginia Judge, New South Wales Minister for Fair Trade, told the newspaper The Sydney Daily Telegraph that she is considering requiring performers to disclose that they won’t be singing live right on the tickets. Judge said: “Australians would not tolerate a Mickey Mouse performace. Let’s be clear. Live means live.”

  • Australian fans paid a hefty price–$182 to $1,370 per ticket–to see Spears perform on stage.

SUSAN BOYLE SINGS WITH THE STARS: Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle is back in the U.S., this time for an appearance early this week on Dancing With The Stars. According to Access Hollywood, Boyle will perform I Dreamed a Dream, the song from the Broadway show Les Miz that skyrocketed her to fame last April on Britain’s Got Talent. Pro dancers Tony Dovolani and Chelsie Hightower will perform on the ballroom dance floor as Boyle sings.

OPRAH’S NEXT MOVE: Oprah Winfrey isn’t exactly denying rumors that she’ll move her syndicated television talk show to her new cable network, called OWN. A spokesman told MSNBC gossip columnist Courtney Hazlett that the talk show queen and entertainment business mogul has not made a decision, but will make an announcement by the end of the year. One bit of business is confirmed, though: Oprah will uproot the show from its long-time home in Chicago and move it to Los Angeles as early as next year.
