TARA REID DENIES ENGAGEMENT RUMORS: Although she’s sporting a new diamond ring from her boyfriend, Tara Reid is not engaged. The 34-year-old, who is dating internet entrepreneur Michael Atmann, told People magazine, “I got a beautiful ring from my boyfriend for my birthday last weekend. But we’re not engaged . . . yet!” Reid confirmed that she posed nude for Playboy’s January/February double issue, saying, “Playboy had approached me in the past, but now just seemed like the right time to do it since I’m in a great place in my life and in love. I felt incredibly comfortable at the shoot. I think it helped a lot by choosing a brilliant female photographer.”

JON GOSSELIN FILES COUNTERSUIT AGAINST TLC: RadarOnline.com confirmed that Jon Gosselin has indeed filed a countersuit against TLC, accusing the network of being “overly restrictive” and violating Pennsylvania child labor laws by failing to get work permits allowing the eight tots to be filmed for public consumption. The suit was a response to TLC’s legal action against Jon , in which the network sued him for breach of contract. The countersuit is for $5 million.

NICOLAS CAGE HOMES REPORTEDLY UP FOR AUCTION: Two homes belonging to Nicolas Cage reportedly went up for auction on Thursday (November 12th) because the actor failed to pay the mortgage debts on the New Orleans properties and the bank eventually foreclosed. TMZ.com reports that the two homes were each estimated to be worth more than $3 million.

BLAKE LIVELY HAIR SPARKS CRAZE: Blake Lively is reportedly sparking a hair craze reminiscent of Jennifer Aniston’s “Rachel” ‘do more than a decade ago. The New York Times reports that the Gossip Girl star’s blonde locks are frequently requested at salons, explaining, “It’s aspirational hair. [Clients] don’t just want the hair, they want the life.” However the paper notes that “the look only works for tall, slim women” but “kind of transcends” age.

ASHLEY JENSEN GIVES BIRTH: Ashley Jense and her husband Terence Beesley welcomed a son last month. People magazine revealed that the Accidentally on Purpose star named their baby boy Francis Jonathan Beesley upon his October 20th birth. The couple eloped in January of 2007 after seven years together.

HARVEY KEITEL JOINS ‘LITTLE FOCKERS’ Harvey Keitel has joined the cast of Little Fockers — the sequel to Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers. The Hollywood Reporter announced that Keitel will play a contractor employed by Ben Stiller’s character in the movie, which will also feature Teri Polo, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner and Owen Wilson, along with newcomers Jessica Alba and Laura Dern.

MARTIN SCORSES GETTING HONORED AT GOLDEN GLOBES: Martin Scorsese will be honored during January’s Golden Globe Awards with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for his “outstanding contribution to the entertainment field.” The director — a two time Globe winner — joins the likes of Steven Spielberg, Warren Beatty, Anthony Hopkins, and Michael Douglas, who have previously received the honor.

‘NEW MOON’ ALREADY LOGGING RECORD-BREAKING TICKET SALES: New Moon is on track to becoming Fandango’s number one advance ticket-seller of all time. The ticketing company announced on Thursday (November 12th) that a week before New Moon’s release, it had already surpassed Twilight in advance ticket sales. Currently the film ranks only behind Star Wars: Episode III, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and The Dark Knight in advance sales. Fandango’s COO said, “Ever since we started selling advance tickets to New Moon on August 31, the demand has been unstoppable, as the fan base just keeps growing every day. New Moon is tracking to be Fandango’s #1 top advance ticket-seller of all time.”

Michael Jackson‘s This Is It has cleared more than $200 million at the box office worldwide. Sony Pictures Entertainment said the documentary of Jackson’s final rehearsals had grossed $61 million in North America and more than $140 million internationally. The film was released on October 29th.

Kimora Lee Simmons will reportedly rejoin America’s Next Top Model — 12 seasons after leaving the show. The New York Daily News claims that in the wake of season 13′s low ratings, Banks has recruited her on-off friend to judge the show again, despite rumors that Simmons was fired after season one.Sources told the Daily News that the casting comes in part because Banks is miffed that axed judges Janice Dickinson and Paulina Porizkova have insinuated that she is difficult to work with.
