BRITTANY MURPHY’S HUSBAND HOSPITALIZED: Brittany Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack was rushed to the hospital on Saturday (November 28th) after the couple’s flight from Puerto Rico landed in Los Angeles. TMZ.com reports that Murphy told responding fire department personnel that she thought her husband was having an asthma attack that didn’t warrant hospitalization, but the officers disagreed. Sources told TMZ that Monjack was “incoherent” when EMTs boarded the plane.

NICK HOGAN IN MINOR CRASH: Nick Hogan was involved in a minor car accident on Saturday (November 28th) night in Los Angeles. TMZ.com reports that there were no injuries and although police came to the scene, no report was taken. Ironically, Hogan — who spent time in jail last year after causing an accident that seriously injured his friend — was coming back from a charity event to raise money for an organization that teaches people to drive safely when the accident occurred.

TOM ARNOLD MARRIED: Tom Arnold got married for the fourth time on Saturday (November 28th). People magazine reports that the comedian tied the knot with Ashley Groussman in Hawaii in front of about 75 people, including best man Dax Shepard. Arnold recently wrote on the couple’s weddingchannel.com page, “I knew that if I could get Ashley to fall in love with me, I’d never have to worry about anything else as long as I lived.”

TAWNY KITAEN CHARGED WITH DUI: Tawny Kitaen has been officially charged with driving under the influence stemming from her September arrest. TMZ.com reports that the reality star faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted. She was pulled over by police near John Wayne Airport in California three months ago, allegedly making “contact with officers after operating a vehicle while under the influence.”

TAYLOR LAUTNER AMONG DECEMBER ‘SNL’ HOSTS: Taylor Lautner is among the recently-announced actors who will be hosting Saturday Night Live in December. Examiner.com reports that the New Moon hunk will take control of the program on December 12th with musical guest Bon Jovi. Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively will kick off the month’s programs on December 5th with musical guest Rihanna while James Franco has the honor of hosting on December 19th.

‘PARANORMAL ACTIVITY’ DVD OFFERS NEW ENDING: An alternate ending to Paranormal Activity will be featured on the film’s DVD. Entertainment Weekly announced the popular horror film will be available for home viewing beginning on December 29th.

Tiger Woods is praising the actions of his wife Elin Nordegren and denying rumors that he was cheating with another woman after crashing his car near his house in Orlando on Friday, (November 27th). In a post on his website Sunday (November 30th), the 33-year-old golf champion said, “This situation is my fault and it’s obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I’m human and I’m not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn’t happen again.”

  • The National Enquirer and other gossip sites reported that Woods had left his home after a physical altercation with his wife over his alleged affair with a New York club hostess named Rachel Uchitel. He reportedly suffered wounds on his face, which if caused by his wife, could lead to charges. Some gossip sites speculate that Woods is refusing police interviews so that his injuries cannot be assessed.
  • Woods countered, “This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible.”
  • He continued: “The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false. This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be.”
