DEMI LOVATO USED HER ENGAGEMENT TO APPEAR STABLE – (03/29/2021)

Demi Lovato told Entertainment Weekly that she used her engagement to actor Max Ehrich to appear stable following her 2018 overdose.

The pair got engaged after only a few months of dating and broke up only two months later.

Lovato told the magazine, “I really had myself fooled, because it was the safe and expected thing. Obviously I cared deeply about the person, but there was something inside of me that was like, ‘I have to prove to the world that I’m okay.’ Now that I’m not engaged or married and I’m okay, I’m like, ‘Wow. Isn’t that so much more empowering?’ It’s not this false sense of security.”

Earlier this month, Lovato told Glamour that ending her engagement to Ehrich helped her realize how queer she really is.

MILEY CYRUS MAY BE OFF THE WAGON – (03/29/2021)

Miley Cyrus may have broken her sobriety while celebrating Hannah Montana’s anniversary at the Rainbow Room in LA on Thursday (March 25th).

A source who spotted the “Wrecking Ball” singer at the bar on the Sunset Strip told Page Six, “She was drinking.”

Cyrus had revealed to Rolling Stone in January that she got sober in 2019 and fell off the wagon for a bit during the pandemic.  At the time of the interview, she said she had been clean for five weeks.

The former Hannah Montana star was also seen cozying up to 23-year-old rocker Yungblud at the event.

A witness told E! that “there was a vibe between them and they didn’t take their eyes off each other.”

Justin Bieber’s mom is not impressed by his latest neck tattoo.

The “Peaches” singer debuted his new ink in a pair of Instagram photos that displayed a Dr. Woo designed peach tattoo in honor of his latest single.

Bieber’s mother, Pattie Mallette, commented on his new artwork with the comment, “Don’t you have enough yet?”

This isn’t the first time Mallette has disapproved of a neck tattoo on her son. In September 2020, she commented with a cry-face emoji after the pop star showed off a large long-stemmed rose on the right side of his neck.

CARDI B DENIES THAT EMINEM DECLINED A FEATURE WITH HER – (03/29/2021)

Cardi B took to Twitter to set the record straight about a rumor that Eminem turned down a feature request for her upcoming album because “she doesn’t care about the culture or her craft.”

Cardi responded, “BIG LIES….I get off the internet and ya makin sh*t up ?? I haven’t sent no songs to no artist yet. Love his work and much respect. This don’t even make sense.” She added, “y’all laughing about this fake rumor but wait until y’all see these next collabs.”

SHARON OSBOURNE IS OUT AT ‘THE TALK’ – (03/29/2021)

Sharon Osbourne has exited from CBSThe Talk. This comes after a heated on-air conversation about race with co-host Sheryl Underwood about race, and accusations of racism from other colleagues.

After an internal investigation, CBS released a statement, saying: “The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home. As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace. We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts.”

On March 10th, Osbourne defended her friend Piers Morgan, who also left his show in Britain over his comments about Meghan Markle following her interview with Oprah Winfrey, during which she revealed suicidal feelings and moments of extreme racism at the hands of the Royal Family and the media.

Osbourne said to Underwood: “The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home. As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace. We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts.”

After the exchange, The Talk went on hiatus for two weeks, and she did issue a written apology, but many said it was too late. Co-host Holly Robinson Peete accused Osbourne of telling producers that Robinson Peete was “too ghetto,” which resulted in Peet’s dismissal from the show. Leah Remini, another former co-host, also said that Osbourne made racist remarks against former co-host Julie Chen and homophobic remarks about The Talk creator Sara Gilbert

Osbourne denied those allegations. The Talk will return April 12th with new episodes. CBS plans to use the time to do serious work, they said: “We acknowledge the network and studio teams, as well as the showrunners, are accountable for what happened during that broadcast as it was clear the co-hosts were not properly prepared by the staff for a complex and sensitive discussion involving race. During this week’s hiatus, we are coordinating workshops, listening sessions and training about equity, inclusion and cultural awareness for the hosts, producers and crew. Going forward, we are identifying plans to enhance the producing staff and producing procedures to better serve the hosts, the production and, ultimately, our viewers.”
