Shawn Mendes and his longtime manager, Andrew Gertler, announced the formation of their film and television production company Monday (November 23rd).
The announcement of the creation of Permanent Content, coincided with the premiere of the company’s Netflix Original documentary, In Wonder, which chronicles Mendes’ rise through the music industry.
Mendes told Variety, “I’m so excited for the launch of Permanent Content, with the Netflix documentary as our first project, and so many more exciting things we’re working on. Our goal is to create content that motivates and inspires people, by elevating young voices that are making change in the world around us, and highlighting the issues dearest to them.”
AL ROKER RETURNS: Al Roker returned to the Today Show Monday, two weeks after undergoing prostate cancer surgery. “I’m back! I’m so excited to see all of you,” the 66-year-old meteorologist wrote on Instagram. During the first hour, he said that he’s feeling better and “trying to exercise,” adding, “Great medical care and the love of friends and family, it goes a long way.”
MILEY CYRUS AND KYLIE MINOGUE WILL PERFORM AT DUA LIPA’S STUDIO 2054 SHOW – (11/24/2020)
Dua Lipa announced two new performers for her Studio 2054 show on Monday (November 23rd).
Both Miley Cyrus and Kylie Minogue will join Bad Bunny, J. Balvin and Tainy on Friday (November 27th).
The “Physical” singer broke the big news about Cyrus to Kelly Clarkson and told The Sun that Minogue is one of her “all time heroes” and she “can’t wait for her to join us at Studio 2054.” T
The event will be streamed via LIVENow on Friday, November 27th at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT.
MEGAN FOX DEBUTS NEW TATTOO, ROMANCE WITH MACHINE GUN KELLY – (11/24/2020)
Megan Fox is betting on the longevity of her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly with a new tattoo on her collarbone, which fans believe is dedicated to her new man. The pair made their relationship Red Carpet official at the 2020 American Music Awards, and her tattoo, which says ‘el pistolero,’ was also on display.
A Twitter fan opined: “We finally have a close-up of Megan’s tattoo and it says ‘el pistolero’, which is Spanish for the shooter aka machine gun Kelly!”
The Spanish translation may be a reference to their meeting in Costa Rica, others speculated. Lyrics from Kelly’s latest album, Tickets to My Downfall, may confirm the rumors. “It was just four months ago that we were right here and I met you. That’s not possible,” Fox said on the track “Banyan Tree (Interlude)” in September. “You just got my initials tattooed on you. I just got your nickname tattooed on me.”
