ED SHEERAN SINGS FOR KIDS AT BOSTON’S CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL – (09/18/2018)

Ed Sheeran paid a visit to the patients at the Ryan Seacrest Studios at Boston Children’s Hospital this past weekend while in town for his Divide tour, which hit Gillette Stadium on Friday and Saturday.

The hospital posted a series of photos on Facebook of a smiling Ed embracing the children, hanging out with them, and posing for pictures.

“Over the weekend, Boston Children’s welcomed special guest Ed Sheeran! The award-winning singer/songwriter answered questions from patients, posed for selfies, and sang his hit song ‘Perfect,’” the hospital wrote.

“Thank you Ed for helping to bring smiles to faces of our patients, families and staff! We hope to see you again soon!” Ed also met a 10-year-old girl paralyzed by a brain tumor at Friday’s concert.

TAYLOR SWIFT SETS CONCERT ATTENDANCE RECORD IN INDIANAPOLIS – (09/18/2018)

Taylor Swift continued her record-breaking ways over the weekend by performing to a massive crowd Saturday night at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

“A huge thank you to everyone who came to the show last night in Indianapolis. You guys broke the concert attendance record at Lucas Oil Stadium, and I loved dancing with you,” Taylor wrote on Instagram. “ It’s pretty surreal that we only have 5 shows left in America cause it feels like this tour just started. See you in St Louis.”

Taylor now holds the record for the biggest crowd ever at the 67,000 seat stadium. Fittingly, it was TayTay’s 13th overall performance in the city of Indianapolis – 13 is her lucky number.

Taylor’s friend and fan, country star Kelsea Ballerini, was backstage cheering her on.

ARIANA GRANDE AND PETE DAVIDSON ADOPT A PET PIG – (09/18/2018)

Ariana Grande is a well-known dog lover, but it appears she may have added to her menagerie with a new pet.

Judging from screen caps grabbed from Ari’s Instagram Story on Saturday, she and fiancé Pete Davidson may have adopted a pet micro pig. The photos show the tiny pig perched on the singer’s shoulder, sleeping on a towel and generally being adorable.

Davidson got a tattoo of the pig a day later. In a photo posted by tattoo artist Mira Mariah, the ink of the pig’s face can be seen on Davidson’s side. The pig’s name was also revealed as the words Piggy Smallz were written below its face.

The comedian also added a tattoo of Winnie the Pooh to his collection.

Grande and Davidson got engaged in June after several weeks of dating.

SELENA GOMEZ, CARDI B & DJ SNAKE COLLAB COMING – (09/18/2018)

Selena Gomez has released the details on her new song, “Taki Taki,” together with DJ Snake, Cardi B, and Ozuna. The artwork for the highly anticipated, upcoming collaboration has also been revealed.

The song will be released September 28th.

No word on whether the collabo will be a stand-alone single, or whether it was created for an album. There’s also speculation that Selena will sing in Spanish on the track. 

ANOTHER RECORD FOR DRAKE: Drake has just set the record for spending the most weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in one year. “In My Feelings” remains No. 1 for a 10th week, giving Drizzy a record 29 weeks at the top of the Hot 100 this year, breaking the record of 28 weeks set by Usher in 2004. Drake also becomes the second artist – following Boyz II Men – to have three songs that were No. 1 for at least ten weeks. In addition to “In My Feelings,” the songs are “God’s Plan” from Drake’s latest album, Scorpion, and 2016’s “One Dance,” featuring WizKid and Kyla. “Nice for What” also from Scorpion, held the No. 1 position for eight weeks this year. Overall, Drake has now spent 49 weeks at No. 1 in his career. The only artists with more weeks at No. 1 are Mariah Carey with 79 weeks, Rihanna with 60 weeks, The Beatles with 59 weeks, and Boyz II Men with 50 weeks.
