JUSTIN BIEBER AND JAMES CORDEN TALK FIGHTING TOM CRUISE ON ‘CARPOOL KARAOKE’ – (02/20/2020)

Justin Bieber joined James Corden for his first appearance in four years on The Late Late Show’s popular segment “Carpool Karaoke.”

The two belted several of Bieber’s hits, including his most recent singles “Yummy” and “Intentions,” as well as, his songs “Love Yourself” and “I Don’t Care.”

At one point, Corden asked Bieber what possessed him to challenge Tom Cruise to a fight in June 2019. The 25-year-old simply chalked it up to being stupid, before the two debated who would have won had it actually happened.

“I don’t think it would be much fun for you. I gotta say, if you and me have a fight, you win. I think if you and Tom Cruise have a fight, I’d back Tom every day of the week,” Corden said.

Bieber replied, “Absolutely not. I’m trying not to let my ego get in the way, but there’s absolutely no way. He’s not the guy you see in movies.”

The debate led to a hilarious arm wrestling competition between the talk show host and Bieber. Bieber won.

Bieber also taught Corden some dance moves to accompany “Yummy.”

Bieber is a resident on the Late Late Show through the week.

FANS REACT TO FIRST LOOK OF WHITNEY HOUSTON HOLOGRAM – (02/20/2020)

Whitney Houston‘s hologram has made it’s debut in the UK and fans are creeped out! Yesterday morning (February 19th), the hologram made its debut on This Morning, showing fans what to expect on an upcoming UK tour.

One of the hosts of This Morning said that it felt like the late singer was “in the room” with them, but the viewers were singing another tune. 

One person wrote, “Does anyone else find this Whitney Houston hologram thing extremely weird and disturbing #ThisMorning.”  Another tweeted, “Whitney Houston’s estate should be a shame of what they doing .. that hologram sh*t looks a mess.”

Others described the hologram as “spooky”, “unsettling”, “the creeps”, “disrespectful”, “wrong”, “weird”, “odd”, and “very, very sad” and more.

Whitney’s sister-in-law Pat  — one of the people behind the hologram tour, claimed that such “intimate” performances were actually Whitney’s idea. She explained, On her 2010 tour in Europe she had a segment in the show where she just used four bandmembers and would come to the front of the stage and perform and she loved it. After her passing I wanted that dream to be realized. When that didn’t work out we decided we’d start with the hologramming. It really started with her.”

“An Evening With Whitney: The Whitney Houston Hologram Tour” kicks off in Sheffield in the UK on February 25th, before traveling through Europe and North America.

LANCE BASS MAKING A MOVIE ABOUT NSYNC: A fun film about NSYNC is coming. Sony’s TriStar Pictures has acquired a feature about the group, but it’s less of an origin story and more of a fun adventure movie that includes NSYNC as a key element. The untitled film, described as a blend of Girls Trip and Pitch Perfect, is based on the true story of two NSYNC superfans who used their prize money from The Price Is Right to buy a motor home and follow Lance Bass, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick on their final tour in 2001. Bass is producing the movie. He first teased the picture last year at SXSW while premiering the documentary The Boy Band Con: The Lou Pearlman Story.

HOW DOES CHANNING TATUM FEEL ABOUT JENNA DEWAN’S ENGAGEMENT? Channing Tatum is happy for his ex Jenna Dewan, who revealed her engagement to Steve Kazee shortly after news broke of their custody agreement for Everly being finalized. A source tells E!: “Channing is very happy for Jenna and Steve’s engagement. Channing has expressed that he is happy Jenna is in a good place and has moved on.” Tatum is dating singer Jessie J. (E!)

AMANDA BYNES’ PARENTS HAVEN’T MET FIANCE: Amanda Bynes has not met her fiancé, ET reports. The She’s the Man star shared that she got engaged to Paul Michael, 28, over the weekend. The pair reportedly met at a sober living facility, and got engaged on Valentine’s Day. After checking herself out of the sober living facility in December, a judge reportedly ordered her to return; she cannot legally get married unless her mother Lynn and a judge sign off on it, ET reports.
