STARS PRESENTING AT VMAS ANNOUNCED – (08/28/2020)
The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards will be held this Sunday and the presenters have been revealed.
Anthony Ramos, Bebe Rexha, Bella Hadid, Drew Barrymore, Jaden Smith, Joey King, Kelly Clarkson, Machine Gun Kelly, Madison Beer, Nicole Richie, Sofia Carson and Travis Barker are all set to announce the winners and performers.
Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga lead the pack with the most nominations at nine apiece. The Weeknd and Billie Eilish follow closely behind with six nominations each.
Performers will include Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and The Weeknd. BTS will be taking the VMAs stage for the first time to sing “Dynamite,” and Miley Cyrus will be returning to debut her new single “Midnight.” Black Eyed Peas, CNCO, DaBaby, Doja Cat and Maluma will be performing, as well. There’s still some question about which performers might not make it due to coronavirus safety precautions.
The pre-show stars include Chloe x Halle, Jack Harlow, Lewis Capaldi, Tate McRae and blackbear. Machine Gun Kelly and Barker will be performing before fulfilling their presenting duties.

KANYE WEST SUES OHIO’S ELECTION HEAD AFTER BEING DEEMED UNQUALIFIED TO GET ON STATE’S BALLOT – (08/28/2020)
Kanye West has sued Ohio’s Republican Secretary of State Frank LaRose, alleging that LaRose went out of his way to keep him off of the presidential ballot.
According to TMZ, LaRose rejected nearly 15,000 signatures, citing mismatched info, but Kanye’s lawyers claim that it’s LaRose’s duty to accept any petition for an independent candidate as long a there is no protest filed and it doesn’t break any Ohio laws.
West is currently on the ballot in states that include Arkansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Utah and Vermont.
B.O. FINALLY REOPENING: More and more theaters are reopening this weekend, after being shut down for five months due to the pandemic. The New Mutants, starring Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt and Henry Zaga will bow, as will Searchlight‘s The Personal History of David Copperfield, starring Dev Patel and directed by Armando Iannucci, and Orion Pictures‘ Bill & Ted Face the Music starring Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves. Unhinged debuted last weekend. Next weekend, Tenet will premiere.
CHRISSY TEIGEN IS SHOCKED: Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are excited but pretty surprised that baby No. 3 is on the way. An insider tells People that the model, 34, and musician “never thought it would be possible for Chrissy to get pregnant naturally,” so they “were never overly cautious” in their intimacy.
IT’S OFFICIAL: BACKSTREET BOYS’ AJ MCLEAN JOINS ‘DANCING WITH THE STARS’: It is official: Backstreet Boys singer AJ McLean is joining Dancing with the Stars. The 42-year-old singer tweeted that he’s “so grateful” for the chance to take part in Season 29 of the ABC reality dance competition series. McLean shared the news alongside a photo of himself in a dance studio. Good Morning America will announce the full celebrity cast on September 2nd. Season 29 will feature Artem Chigvintsev, Val Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson, Peta Murgatroyd, Gleb Savchenko and other dancers as pros. Tyra Banks will replace Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews as host.
