WHO WILL GET WHAT IF KANYE WEST AND KIM KARDASHIAN GETS A DIVORCE? – (01/11/2021)

If Kim Kardashian does file for divorce from Kanye West, who will get what? According to Page Six, the couple’s financial situation has changed a lot since they married in 2014. Kanye is now worth $1.3 billion and Kim is worth $780 million.  The couple’s prenup guarantees that Kim gets $1 million for every year of marriage. She also gets to keep all of the gifts that Kanye gave her, including her million dollar engagement ring.

It’s unclear if Kim gets to keep includes the “$5 million in art, nearly $4 million in vehicles and $3.2 million in jewelry” that Forbes has reported they own together.

Beverly Hills lawyer Joseph Mannis of Hersh Mannis LLP told the site, “If they haven’t kept things separate, God knows what happens with the accounting issues. That could be a gigantic pain in the neck to figure out what you’re doing.”

As far as custody of their four children,  Aimee Gold, a high-profile family lawyer in Los Angeles, told the site that the courts will likely start with both parents getting “50/50″ physical custody. Gold added that each camp could litigate for more time if they prove that a situation would be “detrimental to the kid,” like if one parent will be away on tour for a year.”

DID HARRY STYLES ROMANCE PROMPT OLIVIA WILDE’S SPLIT FROM JASON SUDEIKIS? – (01/11/2021)

News of Olivia Wilde’s romance with Harry Styles shocked many, but it especially hurt her longtime former fiancé, Jason Sudeikis, Page Six reports. News of Wilde and Sudeikis’ split hit in November; the pair share two children.

But sources tell Page Six that Wilde and Styles got together in October. While reports have claimed that Wilde and Sudeikis broke up in early 2020, others tell Page Six that they broke up after Wilde and Styles got together. 

“Olivia and Jason were having issues, like any other couple, but Jason loves Olivia — he completely adores her, and that’s what makes this so sad. He’s always been committed to making their family work,” the source close to the couple said.

The source added: “People have tried to make out that Harry and Olivia have only been dating for the past few weeks, but that’s not right. Jason found out about Harry and pushed the conversation. Olivia then asked for a separation and news of the split was made public.”

TAYLOR SWIFT GIVES OLIVIA RODRIGO HER STAMP OF APPROVAL – (01/11/2021)

Olivia Rodrigo’s debut single has gotten Taylor Swift’s stamp of approval.  The “Drivers License” singer found her song right below Swift’s new deluxe evermore tracks on the iTunes chart and wrote on Instagram, “next to taylor on the us i tunes chart i’m in a puddle of tears”.

Swift herself replied using an old interview quote of her mother’s, “I say that’s my baby and I’m really proud.” 

Rodrigo was so excited, she made a second Instagram post featuring the comment and captioned it with, “what is breathing”. 

‘VOGUE’ MAGAZINE DRAGGED FOR KAMALA HARRIS COVER – (01/11/2021)

Vogue Magazine was dragged yesterday (January 10th) for what many are calling an extremely underwhelming magazine cover featuring Vice President-elect Kamala Harris. The cover features Kamala in front of a wrinkled up pink backdrop, wearing a black blazer, jeans and converse sneakers. A second cover, which many thought was a more stylish cover, will be release digitally.

People on social media were not shy about how they felt about the cover. One person wrote, “PLEASE DO HER JUSTICE and REDO this cover! Put her in a background that is regal like she is! Your old drape from the CEO’s office is insulting.” Another wrote, “The cover on the left (with the Chuck Ts) had no business being selected or even offered as an option. This speaks volumes of how you view our Madam Vice President.”

A Twitter user by the name of @stilletoroyalty wrote, “Anyone shocked by the poor quality of Kamala’s Vogue cover hasn’t paid attention to Anna Wintour’s bullsh*t w/people of color. It spans decades. Team Kamala should’ve known better. Anyway, enjoy this pic that effortlessly shows her beauty w/o stripping her of her power(suit)😉.”

KAMALA’S TEAM WAS ‘BLINDSIDED’ BY ‘VOGUE’ COVER

Meanwhile, journalist Yashar Ali revealed on Twitter that Kamala’s team was blindsided by the cover, saying, “The February Vogue cover featuring VP-elect Kamala Harris has been widely criticized on social media this evening. But according to a source familiar with the publication plans, this is not the cover that the Vice President-elect’s team expected.”

He continued, “In the cover that they expected, Vice President-elect Harris was wearing a powder blue suit. That was the cover that the Vice President-elect’s team and the Vogue team, including Anna Wintour, mutually agreed upon…which is standard for fashion magazines.” He added, “So folks feel blindsided this evening.”
