Bernie Sanders won first place in the New Hampshire primary and while many are reporting that it’s the first clear victory, it’s only because of the chaos that ensued in Iowa. Bernie won by approximately 1% of the vote in the state and both he and Pete Buttigieg picked up 9 new delegates rendering a tie terms of heading towards the party convention. In Carroll County, Buttigieg actually beat Sanders by 2% with Amy Klobuchar less than a hundred votes behind the Vermont Senator. Coos county was a different story with Sanders taking a wide 9% lead over Buttgieg, who still finished second. Klobuchar came in third again but with a wider difference. The results put Klobuchar about even with Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden in terms of the delegate count. All three with half the totals of Sanders and Buttigieg.

Bernie Sanders
76,324 votes
9 delegates

Pete Buttigieg
72,457 votes
9 delegates

Amy Klobuchar
58,796 votes
6 delegates

The rest of the democratic field did not earn enough votes to secure any delegates. Here’s News Director Tony Zore breaking down the delegate system for Magic 104’s Gino Devaney:

‘BIRDS OF PREY’ FAILS TO CATCH FLIGHT – (02/10/2020)

Birds of Prey did not follow in the footsteps of many other Warner Bros. DC billion franchises—Wonder WomanAquamanJoker—faltering with just $33.8 million in its first weekend out.

Observers expected the Margot Robbie-toplined film to grab between $50 million and $55 million.

RelishMix observed:  “Looking closer at primary social media metrics, Birds of Prey is challenged. Sure, the viral rate of 48:1 looks strong, particularly against seven total clips shared by Warner Bros. But, as we saw with Terminator: Dark Fate a couple months ago, many of these clips could be contributing to a larger social discussion, rather than genuine excitement to see the film. Also, the movie is behind, with 500 new Facebook Fans daily added to its official page, compared to the usual genre average closer to 4K. Finally, the film is earning about 70K view daily on YouTube across its top clips. But many of the earned clips are very low indeed compared to the four or five owned pacing in the hundreds of thousands.”

Meanwhile, Oscar film 1917 landed in third place with $8.9 million, and Little Women in ninth with $2.3 million. Bad Boys for Life landed in second place with $11.8 million.

Niall Horan has released his new single, “No Judgement”.

“Couldn’t be more excited for this one if I tried,” he captioned the cover art, a black-and-white image of the crooner strumming a guitar.

“No Judgement” follows previously released singles “Nice to Meet Ya” and “Put a Little Love on Me.” All three will be featured on Horan’s upcoming sophomore album, which doesn’t yet have a release date.

Meanwhile, Meghan Trainor just released her new album, Treat Myself, which is packed with collabs with everyone from Lennon Stella to the Pussycat Dolls. But one of the songs on her 15-song tracklist, “Nice to Meet Ya,” happens to share a name with a single released by Niall.

“I wrote mine years ago, and that happened, and down to the same spelling of ‘ya,’” she reveled to Elvis Duran and the Morning Show. “I was like, ‘Oh no, what do we do? Do we change it, do we say something else?’” However, she decided against changing her title because it was important to the overall vibe of the song, saying, “It truly couldn’t be any other title.”

But there’s no bad blood between Meghan and Niall, as she explained: “Niall’s really nice. I love him,” she shared. “Every time I see him, he’s amazing to me, but I couldn’t change it.”

While things may be fine between Meghan and Niall, some of his fans aren’t so pleased about the songs sharing a title and were hoping to see some Niall love when “Nice to Meet Ya” recently trended on Twitter – but it was her song. “His fans are coming after me and it’s OK,” Meghan added. “They’re just like, ‘I thought this was trending for Niall. Guess not … ew.’ I was like, ‘At least you’re still trending it, ew.’”

Niall released his single on October 4, 2019. Meghan released hers on the January 22, 2020.
