Endless Summer of Prizes 2020 kicks off on July 6th and once again Magic 104 has teamed up with some amazing local businesses to bring the best out of your summer! Gino is bringing back all your favorite games and this year the only rule is… YOU GOTTA TUNE IN TO WIN!

As always we will be taking 1 Qualifier each weekday – by playing a game… however to play, you MUST be listening to the radio. That’s right! There will be NO CHANCES to win for the Endless Summer of Prizes on Facebook. We are kicking it old school!

Great Glen Trails’ Kona Summer Mountain Bike Series Starts July 7th

Great Glen Trails‘ Event Director Lisa McCoy called Gino today on the Magic Morning Show and gave us a full rundown all about their Kona Summer Mountain Bike Series that starts Tuesday, July 7th and will run through August 25th. Lisa explains that it is a fun and safe way to spend time with your family outdoors and a great opportunity to win some amazing prizes. Kona Summer Mountain Bike Series
Tuesdays, July 7 – August 25, 2020

We are thrilled to be able to welcome you to join the Great Glen Trails summer weekly mountain bike series sponsored by Kona bikes!!

Come to Great Glen Trails each Tuesday anytime between 3:30 – 7:00 p.m. Choose your race course — long, short, or mini — and compete against the clock in this fun, easy going series. Open to all ages and abilities, this is the perfect socially-distant outdoor activity you can do with the entire family. This is a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike) event. Rentals will not be available for the race series.

Long course: 5.3 miles
Short course: 3.9 miles
Mini: 1.2 miles

All courses use the Great Glen Trails carriage roads and single track at the scenic base of Mt. Washington.

There will be a few additional parameters in place this summer due to COVID19 restrictions and recommendations:

– mandatory staggered start; at least 1 min apart
– please do not congregate at the starting line under tent
– children must be accompanied at all times by their own parent/guardian

Please follow CDC recommendations and do not come to Great Glen if you are feeling sick, have a fever, or have known contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID19. We kindly ask you to wear a mask when inside, wash your hands, and keep at least 6′ apart. 

We will have prizes each week in lieu of a potluck party and awards at the end of the series. We encourage everyone to sign up online in advance!

NEW MUSIC FRIDAY: Trevor Daniel & Selena Gomez – Past Life

Selena Gomez and Trevor Daniel have released a song together this week.

Rumors started to circulate last week when Daniel posted a mirror selfie wearing her merch and she reposted it. The two collaborated on a remix of his song, “Past Life.” It’s from his debut studio album, Nicotine, that he released in March. On Wednesday they both posted a Zoom conversation they had about the song.

The song with Gomez was officially released today and the lyric video is below. Enjoy!

Congressman Chris Pappas Joins Gino on The Magic Morning Show

Congressman Chris Pappas called in to the Magic Morning Show today and talked with Gino about a plethora of topics. They discussed the Congressman’s response to an order barring foreign workers on a slate of employment-based visas, upcoming relief packages for COVID-19, two significant Supreme Court decisions affirming workplace protection for the LGBTQ community and Dreamers, and support for the US Post Office. The crew from Cheese Louise called in to the Magic Morning Show today and told Gino all about the “behind the scenes” of the Cheese Louise brand and gave us a nice idea on just how passionate they are, not just about “grilled cheese sandwiches” but this community, their staff, their customers, and having FUN. Bryce, James, Jasmine, and Ian joined Gino on a conference call and in addition to talking about the “why” behind Cheese Louise, they gave us a great peek at the menu and a rundown of their location on the Kanc and NOW at Settlers Green. Senator Jeanne Shaheen discusses NH’s Reopening during COVID-19, The Great American Outdoors Act, and NH Protests for Black Lives Matter – 06/18/2020

US Senator Jeanne Shaheen called in to the Magic Morning Show today and talked with Gino about a plethora of topics. Senator Shaheen has always been a big proponent of safeguarding and maintaining our natural environment and she has now helped pass a bipartisan bill to help out NH Wildlife areas, like the White Mountain National Forest. The Conway Scenic Railroad REOPENS this Saturday, June 20th!

Today on The Magic Morning Show, Gino was joined by Conway Scenic Railroad Marketing & Events Manager Brian Solomon via the phone and they discussed the Conway Scenic Railroad‘s REOPENING this Saturday, June 20th. Brian gave us a full rundown of how operation has changed at the train station due to COVID-19 and the guidelines they will be following to make sure everyone will be safe when riding with the Conway Scenic Railroad.
