‘AVENGERS: ENDGAME’ NEARS ‘AVATAR’S ALL-TIME BOX OFFICE RECORD – (07/15/2019)

Avengers: Endgame is headed toward complete box office dominance. The Disney and Marvel megahit snagged an additional $2 million at the B.O. this weekend, for a total of $2.78 billion worldwide, just $7.16 million behind Avatar’s all-time record of $2.788 billion.

Spider-Man, starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, meanwhile, topped the box office again, raking in $45.2 million, for a total global haul of about $850 million. Toy Story 4 slipped into second place with $20.66 million in sales, for a global tally of about $771 million.
