REPORT: KANYE WEST AND KIM KARDASHIAN’S PRIORITIES DON’T LINE UP ANYMORE – (01/08/2021)

Sources say that Kanye West‘s and Kim Kardashian‘s priority don’t seem to line up anymore. According to US Weekly, the source said that Kanye is jealous about the time that Kim has been spending dedicated to prison reform and their kids. The source also revealed that Kanye wanted to move the family to Wyoming full time, because that’s “where he sees this direction of his life going” but Kim “just doesn’t see their lives full time in Wyoming.”

The source added that the two have been in marriage counseling but “haven’t had a joint session together in a while.” The source said, “Kim’s singular focus is how this will impact the kids and Kanye has been receptive to engaging in those discussions.”

Meanwhile, The UK Sun has reported that Kim is looking to get full custody of their four kids. A source said, “Neither of them want to seem like the loser in this divorce and they both will fight hard for their kids. Kim has made it clear she wants full custody so if Kanye tries to fight her on that, the custody battle will be brutal.” 

JEFFREE STAR DENIES SLEEPING WITH KANYE

Meanwhile, Jeffree Star has denied sleeping with Kanye West.  In a YouTube video, Jeffree said, “I’m single. I’m not sleeping with anyone,” Star said. “I like very tall men. Me and Kanye have never hung out, and this whole thing is really funny …”

He added, “How did we even get to this moment? How would that even be made up? Because we both live in the same state?”

SHIA LABEOUF AND MARGARET QUALLEY SPLIT AMID ABUSE ALLEGATIONS – (01/08/2021)

Shia LaBeouf and Margaret Qualley are over, People reports. The Transformers actor is facing allegations of abuse in the form of a lawsuit filed by his ex FKA Twigs, and multiple other exes have backed her, saying he abused them too. He has also come under fire for his bad behavior on-set, with Olivia Wilde reportedly ousting him from her current project. (Harry Styles, whom she began dating recently, replaced him in September).

“They broke up on Saturday. They’re just in different places in their lives,” a source tells People of the pair, who have recently been out seen together on several occasions.

Another insider tells People that the 26-year-old Qualley was aware of the online “backlash” of her dating an alleged abuser.

TAYLOR SWIFT RELEASES TWO MORE ‘EVERMORE’ SONGS – (01/08/2021)

Two more Taylor Swift songs made their streaming debut on Thursday (January 7th). 

“Right Where You Left Me” and “It’s Time To Go” were previously only available on the deluxe edition of her latest album, evermore.  Lyric videos for both tracks were also released earlier this week (January 6th)

Evermore is Swift’s second album of 2020, following the July release of folklore. 

She said, [“I’ve never put out an album this quickly in succession after a brand new album, but then again I’ve never had a concept like this come to me before where I wanted to continue exploring even after an album was released. I didn’t want to move on to something else, I just wanted to keep on digging.”]

The singer continued, [“So, evermore is out, Ithink it’s four-and-a-half months after folklore came out, but this is a year where I threw out a lot of rules that I used to have in my head – ‘Oh, you only put out an album once every so often’ – whatever, like I think we need music. I think I want to connect to my fans. This is stuff that I’ve written, and I’m so, so proud of it. So, I figured I’d just put it out.”]

THE RIOT INSPIRED DEMI LOVATO TO RECORD NEW MUSIC – (01/08/2021)

The riot at the Capitol on Wednesday (January 6th) has inspired Demi Lovato to create new music. 

The singer tweeted, “I’m in the studio working on something special after today’s assault on democracy.”

Lovato was quite outspoken on social media Wednesday.  Earlier in the day, she retweeted a post from Black Lives Matter with the caption, “My heart is broken. It makes me to sad to believe how naive I was to think this couldn’t possibly happen, and yet it did.”

Her manager Scooter Braun announced last weekend (January 2nd) that Lovato was in the studio, working on new music. 

ZAYN MALIK TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM ON JANUARY 15TH – (01/08/2021)

Zayn Malik will release his new album, Nobody is Listening, on January 15th.  

According to Pop Crave, it will feature a total of 11 tracks, including the lead single, “Vibez”, which will be released on Friday, January 8th. 

Malik teased the single on Twitter Thursday (January 7th).  The announcement showed an empty auditorium and a stage with curtains drawn. 

The former One Direction singer’s previous solo efforts include 2016’s Man of Mine and 2018’s Icharus Falls.

Reports say that Kanye West‘s presidential run was “the final straw” for Kim Kardashian. According to Page Six, a source said that Kanye’s presidential campaign made Kim realize she “needed to end the marriage for the sake of her kids and her own sanity.” 

The source continued, “Kim was really supportive of Kanye during his struggle with his mental health. But she knows she has to do the right thing for her kids.”

A second source added, “She never came out publicly and endorsed him. Her silence on it spoke volumes.”

A source also denied rumors that Kim is dating CNN‘s Van Jones or anyone else. 

KANYE IS ‘SAD’ ABOUT DIVORCE

Meanwhile, a source told People that although Kim is sad she feels that she has done “everything in her power to make her marriage work.” And that even though she has been thinking about divorce for months, she didn’t because she feels “terrible for the kids.”

The source that Kanye is “sad, but okay,” adding, ‘He knows the inevitable will happen, and he knows that it’s coming soon.”

KANYE AND KIM SPENT CHRISTMAS TOGETHER

Despite their issues, the two spent Christmas together at their home with the kids. TMZ reported that Kanye bought Kim five 2021 Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 SUVs — which are priced just under $200,000 each, while Kim gave Kanye several James Turrell art pieces worth over $1 million.

KANYE ACCUSED OF HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH JEFFREE STAR

In related news, there are bizarre rumors going around that Kanye is having an affair with makeup mogul Jeffree Star. E! News reported that a source close to Kanye and Kim said that there is no truth to the rumor.

FANS HAVE DATING THEORIES ABOUT KIM KARDASHIAN WEST – (01/07/2021)

Kim Kardashian West is hoping to kick off 2021 on a healthier note. Right before reports of her split from Kanye West landed, she shared her hopes on IG Stories, posting videos of her working out with her trainer, Melissa Alcantara. She wrote: “Sister Boot Camp starts this month! Plant Based and Two workouts a day for 30 days to get our mind and body right for this year!” 

While it’s unclear if the reports of their split or rumors, or something more substantial, they’re coming in hot and furious. Sources tell Us that settlement talks are “ongoing. Kim wants to control the PR campaign of the divorce and she was blindsided by leaks about the divorce reports.”

The insider adds that Kardashian, 40, and West, 43, have not “been together in weeks and didn’t spend the holidays together.” She has reportedly has high-profile divorce lawyer Laura Wasser on retainer for months. Laura helped Kim in her split from Kris Humphries. 

DATING SPECULATION

Meanwhile, fans are speculating that Kim has already moved on from Kanye with Van Jones, a CNN commentator whom she has worked with on prison reform. 

One person tweeted, “I try not to dip too deep into the gossip pool but Kim Kardashian & Van Jones is not far off base, she’s trying to pass the California Bar to become a lawyer. Van Jones is a lawyer. At least she’s calculated.”

“Kim Kardashian and Van Jones: An Inevitable Love Story,” wrote another.

Van has spoken highly of Kim in the past, telling Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live in 2019 that she is “brilliant” and will make a good lawyer because she is “incredibly persuasive and persistent.”

WHY DID OLIVIA WILDE EXIT VIDEO STARRING SHIA LABEOUF + HARRY STYLES ROMANCE INSIGHT – (01/07/2021)

Olivia Wilde reportedly ousted Shia LaBeouf from Don’t Worry Darling over his problematic behavior, but the drama didn’t end there. She directed LaBeouf and Margaret Qualley (his rumored girlfriend) in the NSFW music video “Love Me Like You Hate Me,” sung by her sister Rainey Qualley, aka Rainsford, but it didn’t end well.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, LaBeouf submitted his own cut of the video before she’d been able to finish it. He sent the cut over on a group email, and Wilde responded, writing she’d look at it and submit her own cut. LaBeouf then wrote back, saying the correct response would have been to write thank you and that “we should go with this” in reference to the one he submitted. Per a source who saw the email, he also wrote: “Great jazz musicians know when not to play.”

Wilde wrote back, “I’m out.” Her name has been removed from the project. LaBeouf’s on and off-set behavior has been the subject of much controversy, and he is currently being sued by FKA Twigs over his alleged abuse of her during their relationship. 

HARRY + OLIVIA

Wilde ended up casting Harry Styles in LaBeouf’s old role, which led to a much-buzzed about new romance. Sources tell People that the pair started out as friends but it “quickly turned romantic. Their chemistry was very obvious.”

Wilde split from Jason Sudeikis, 45, in early 2020, and Styles joined the film in September. He plays the husband of Florence Pugh’s character.

“During breaks in filming he wasn’t able to stay away and would visit her trailer,” says the insider. 

The pair were photographed holding hands at a wedding in California, and sources say that he introduced her there as his girlfriend.

Demi Lovato has no patience for Instagram influencers who are partying during the coronavirus pandemic. According to E!, the “Still Have Me” singer shared a popular meme dragging influencers for partying in Tulum and Miami with the caption, “Just curious, what the f–k are y’all doing?”

The meme she shared to her Instagram Stories was originally posted by the account @assistantsvsagents, and featured two students, one holding a tuba in front of the other student’s face. The person holding the tuba was labeled “influencers” while the other was labeled “Everyone else being good people.” The tuba was captioned “Instagram stories partying in Tulum and Miami.”

THE GRAMMY AWARDS HAVE BEEN POSTPONED – (01/06/2021)

The Grammy Awards have officially been postponed until Sunday, March 14th.  

The Recording Academy released a joint statement along with CBS on Tuesday (January 5th) announcing that “after thoughtful conversations with health experts, our host and artists scheduled to appear,” the show would no longer take place on January 31st due to concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic. 

They said, “The deteriorating COVID situation in Los Angeles, with hospital services being overwhelmed, ICUs having reached capacity, and new guidance from state and local governments have all led us to conclude that postponing our show was the right thing to do. Nothing is more important than the health and safety of those in our music community and the hundreds of people who work tirelessly on producing the show.”

According to Rolling Stone, Trevor Noah will remain the host of the event

  1. DRE HOSPITALIZED AFTER SUFFERING BRAIN ANEURYSM – (01/06/2021)

Dr. Dre was hospitalized on Monday (January 4th) in Los Angeles after suffering a brain aneurysm. According to TMZ, sources close to the hip hop mogul say that he was rushed to Cedars Sinai Medical Center and was taken to ICU and remained there yesterday (January 5th).

As of press time yesterday, the 55-year-old was “stable and lucid” but doctors don’t know what caused the bleeding and are running tests.

Dre released a statement on Instagram, last night (January 5th) saying, “Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”

As previously reported, Dre is currently in the middle of a bitter divorce from estranged wife Nicole Young — who is asking for $2 million a month in temporary spousal support and $5 million for attorney fees.

Dre says he’s been paying all of Nicole’s expenses and believes that $2 million is outrageous.

Nicole also wants a judge to reject the prenuptial agreement she signed in 1996, claiming that Dre ripped it up early on in the marriage, which Dre denies.

REPORT: ‘DIVORCE IS IMMINENT’ FOR KANYE WEST AND KIM KARDASHIAN – (01/06/2021)

Just one day after reports came out Kanye West and Kim Kardashian had no plans of divorcing, Page Six is now reporting that “divorce is imminent” between the couple.  A source revealed that Kim has quietly hired divorce attorney Laura Wasser.

The source explained, “They are keeping it low key but they are done. Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.” Kim hasn’t been spotted wearing her ring in a while and Kanye spent the holidays at his ranch in Wyoming.

The source said, “Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done.”

WHAT WENT WRONG?

The source added that while Kim has done much in the past to protect and help Kanye deal with his mental health struggles, “Now this divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot.” The source continued, “She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s–t, and she’s just had enough of it.”

Meanwhile, a separate source said that Kanye has become uncomfortable and irritated by the Kardashians’ over-the-top reality star lives. The source said that Ye “Is completely over the entire family … He wants nothing to do with them” and he found their reality show “unbearable.”  

As far as their settlement talks, the source said, “Kim is trying to get Kanye to turn over the Calabasas house to her, because that’s where the kids are based and growing up. That is their home.”

The source added, “She owns all the land and adjoining lots around the house but Kanye owns the actual house. They’ve both put a lot of money into renovating it.”

The source also revealed that “This isn’t the first time they’ve been talking about a split, but this time it is way, way more serious.”

TMZ: KANYE AND KIM ARE IN MARRIAGE COUNSELING

Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting that Kanye and Kim are in marriage counseling and although they’ve discussed divorce, they havent’t given up. Sources say that the marriage has been in trouble for the last six months and Kim was ready to end the marriage but when Kanye was going through his bipolar episode and she felt it was cruel to do it at that time.

They also confirmed that the couple has been living separately and Kim has been going back and forth about whether to leave or stay. 

The site also reported that Kim has had Laura Wasser on retainer for years for various reasons and “the subject of divorce was discussed months ago, but Kim never gave the green light to file.”

At this time, no final decision has been mad and they have been in counseling for a while. Their issues “have been neither contentious nor ugly, but they do have lots of differences … from lifestyle to politics. They are, however, fully aligned on parenting.”

The sources also made it clear that there is no “third party” involved. 

‘LOVELY’ SURPASSED 1 BILLION YOUTUBE VIEWS – (01/06/2021)

“Lovely” by Billie Eilish and Khalid has surpassed 1 billion YouTube views since its release in April 2018.

According to Pop Crave, this is Khalid’s first and Eilish’s second video to achieve this milestone. “Bad Guy” joined the billion views club in November 2020.

QUEEN ELIZABETH CANCELS ALL GARDEN PARTIES + PRINCE HARRY IS LOVING LIFE – (01/06/2021)

Queen Elizabeth has nixed a beloved royal annual series of events. Amid the ongoing pandemic, and the new lockdown in the U.K., the 94-year-old has cancelled all garden parties for the coming year. The trio of parties typically take place at Buckingham Palace every May; she also holds one in Edinburgh at the Holyroodhouse. 

These annual parties have been held every year since 1860 and serve as a way for the monarch to recognize public service. Typically, 30,000 people in suits, top hats, dresses and fascinators attend to mingle with royals and eat tea and cake. 

All of the royals have been affected by the recent shut-down. Prince George, 7, and Princess Charlotte, 5, saw their schools close, and Prince Louis, 2, is unable to attend nursery school. 

PRINCE HARRY

Prince Harry, meanwhile, is thriving since he and Meghan Markle left their senior royal roles. 

According to an Us Weekly source, “Harry doesn’t have any regrets about leaving the royal family whatsoever and is really happy in Montecito…he and Meghan are enjoying their new life in California—being a normal family and having the freedom to make their own decisions without anyone watching over them.” The source also added that Harry has “grown in confidence since the move. Harry isn’t looking back, although he does miss his friends at home.”

TANYA ROBERTS DEATH MIX-UP: Tanya Roberts was reported as dead by her publicist because longtime partner Lance O’Brien said he was crying over the phone to him after a long day at the hospital, he told Page Six. “[Pingel] goes, ‘What happened?’ And I say, ‘I just said goodbye to Tanya, and I got to see her beautiful eyes one last time.’ And after that, I’m just blubbering,” O’Brien recalled. HARRY STYLES + OLIVIA WILDE – (01/05/2021)

New Year, new love? That may be on tap for Olivia Wilde, who was photographed holding hands with Harry Styles following her split from longtime partner Jason Sudeikis. 

The 36-year-old director and 26-year-old “Golden” singer were photographed by The Daily Mail and Page Six, and they appeared to be holding hands at his manager Jeffrey Azoff’s nuptials in Montecito, California. Styles served as officiant to Azoff’s wedding to Glenne Christiaansen, who works for Apple Music.

Snitches tell Page Six that Styles has been introducing Wilde as his “girlfriend.” James Corden has reportedly helped the new lovebirds cover their tracks by allowing them to hang at his house on the down-low.

The insider spilled: “Harry had been staying at James Corden’s house near Palm Springs during filming, and so they were able to be alone and keep their relationship very secret. So everyone was really surprised — and rather delighted — when Harry bought Olivia as his date to the wedding, and introduced her as his girlfriend.”

Wilde is directing Styles in Don’t Worry Darling. He replaced Shia LaBeouf; Chris Pine and Florence Pugh also star. 

Wilde and Sudeikis, 45, were engaged for seven years. They share son Otis, 6, and daughter Daisy, 4. Styles has previously been linked to Caroline Flack, Taylor Swift, Emily Atack, Kendall Jenner and Erin Foster.

NICKI MINAJ BEING SUED FOR $200 MILLION OVER ‘RICH SEX;

According to TMZ, Nicki Minaj is being sued over her song “Rich Sex.” Rapper Brinx Billions claimed that Nicki ripped off his version of the song and put it on her 2018 album Queen. 

In addition to lyrics, Brinx claims Minaj’s song has similar music, musical notes, musical arrangement, musical beats, and musical rhythm. He is suiung Minaj, along with Universal Music Group, Young Money, and Cash Money, for over $200 million in damages.

To celebrate the new year with her fans, Nicki Minaj shared photos and videos of her son. She gave birth 3 months ago and until now hadn’t released any photos of his face.

She wrote on Instagram: “Becoming a mom is by far the most fulfilling job I’ve ever taken on. Sending love to all the superhero mothers out there. Big hugs to all the women who have been pregnant during this challenging time.” In the post she also thanks her baby, Papa Bear, for choosing her as his mama.

His adorable photos are a bit like a fashion spread, you see him in different settings wearing designer baby cloths and sweatsuits. Minaj even topped off one of his looks with a gold chain.

HARRY STYLES RELEASES NEW VIDEO FEATURING PHOEBE WALLER-BRIDGE – (01/04/2021)

Harry Styles surprised fans with the premiere of his music video for “Treat People With Kindness.” The clip gives off the impression of ‘Broadway meets Frank Sinatra‘ and stars actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

The black and white video features Styles as a nightclub singer. Waller-Bridge is seen sitting in the audience sipping a martini. Next thing you know, she’s up on stage dancing with him. The pair wear matching outfits with white bellbottom pants and sweater vests. The dance concludes with the actress dipping Styles.

The One Direction alum debuted the video on New Year’s Day.

JENNIFER LOPEZ AMAZES AND CONFUSES FANS WITH NEW YEAR’S EVE COSTUME – (01/04/2021)

Jennifer Lopez wore some elaborate costume pieces during her incredible performance from Times Square on New Year’s eve. Fans zoomed in on the diamond studded head mask, that looked a lot like a jeweled hockey mask.

During her performance, she stripped off an over-sized gown to reveal a rhinestone bodysuit underneath and wore an odd diamond cage on her face.

Many fans online seemed to relate it to the wearing of face masks during the pandemic, others were completely confused. Some compared the net to sci-fi and fantasy movies.

Overall, when it came to her diamond headdress, fans seemed to be laughing with JLO, not at her.

Also during her performance, she debuted a brand new song called “In The Morning,” and sang her classic “Waiting For Tonight,” along with a medley of other hits.

BEYONCE: ‘2020 DIVIDED US AND UNITED US’ – (01/04/2021)

Beyonce gifted her female family members and friends with a gold, diamond encrusted chain that reads “2020” shaped like a hand giving the middle finger. Beyonce’s cousin Angie Beyince revealed the news on Instagram, writing, “@beyonce gifted all of her girls with this amazing custom 2020 necklace.  [middle finger emoji] 2020′ It’s a hand with middle finger and the year 2020 combined into one. When I opened it my eyes teared up because it is both Hilarious & Deeply Sentimental.”

She continued, “2020 has had ups and downs but over all its been a really weird and tuff year. Hopefully 2021 is good to the world.” 

In addition, Beyonce released a video montage of her life in 2020. She wrote to her fans, “2020 divided us and united us. Most could not see loved ones and we felt too many losses, but we were united by our humanity. This year for me has been about celebrating joy, chasing happiness, and living in love. Billie Eilish’s mom acted in an episode of Friends alongside Matt LeBlanc. Many fans were surprised a few weeks back when she was on Saturday Night Live and they played a clip of her mom appearing in a skit years earlier.

As for Friends, her mom, Maggie Baird was in Season 6. It’s the one where Joey loses his insurance, she portrays a casting director of his.

Eilish’s mom has also appeared in Walker Texas Ranger, X Files, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The West Wing, Charmed, among other films and television shows. Her last credited role was in 2016 for a short called I Am Be.

Eilish’s dad, Patrick O’Connell, is also an actor. He appeared in The West Wing along with projects like Iron Man, Supergirl, and Without A Trace. His last credited role was in 2016 for voicing a video game called Hitman.

4. MEGHAN MARKLE AND PRINCE HARRY STEP DOWN FROM ROYAL ROLES

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry started 2020 with a bang by announcing they were leaving their senior royal posts in January, in a bid to become financially independent and pursue their own lives. After a brief stopover in Canada, they moved to California, and within a matter of months, bought a $14 million home in Montecito and signed a multi-million deal to create content with Netflix. They also launched their new philanthropy, dubbed Archewell, celebrated their son Archie’s first birthday, and volunteered during the pandemic.

Their exit from the Royal Family was far from smooth though, with reports emerging that Queen Elizabeth II, Harry’s father Prince Charles and brother Prince William, responding with horror and shock to their plans. Relations since then have reportedly been tense, and Harry has smarted at some of the effects of the decision, including his being forced to give up all of his royal appointments. 

It hasn’t been easy for Meghan either, who, she revealed in The New York Times in November, suffered a miscarriage in July. “I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second,” she wrote in an opinion piece for The New York Times. 

“Sitting in a hospital bed, watching my husband’s heart break as he tried to hold the shattered pieces of mine, I realized that the only way to begin to heal is to first ask, ‘Are you OK?’,” she wrote. “This year has brought so many of us to our breaking points. Loss and pain have plagued every one of us in 2020, in moments both fraught and debilitating.”

3. LORI LOUGHLIN PLEADS GUILTY, HEADS TO PRISON

After months of declaring their innocence, Full House star Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges in May for their roles in the college admissions case. Both were accused of shelling out $500K in a scheme to get their daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella into University of Southern California as fake crew recruits. 

Loughlin pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud, and Giannulli pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud and honest services wire and mail fraud. In August, they were sentenced to two (Loughlin) and five months (Giannulli) in federal prison. During her sentencing, Loughlin said: “While I wish I could go back and do things differently, I can only take responsibility and move forward. I am truly, profoundly and deeply sorry. I’m ready to face the consequences and make amends.”

Loughlin served her two months’ time, and was released in December, while Giannulli entered prison in November and is set to be out in April. 

2. HARVEY WEINSTEIN FACES NEW CHARGES, JAIL TIME

In March, Harvey Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison for sexual assault and rape. He was convicted on February 24th after a jury trial in a Manhattan court that included graphic testimony from his victims, including Annabella Sciorra. His case ignited the #MeToo movement.

In January, before his conviction, he was charged with raping and assaulting women in L.A. In October, he was charged with raping two more women in L.A.; in total, he faces 11 counts of assault in Los Angeles County involving five women. The 68-year-old has denied the allegations. 

Weinstein has faced a number of health setbacks behind bars, including heart issues and COVID, which he reportedly contracted in March. Extradition to California has been put on hold due to the pandemic, and his legal team has repeatedly tried to prevent it, citing his ill health. 

1. ELLEN DEGENERES KINDNESS BACKLASH

Ellen DeGeneres built her lofty reputation on not just being super-funny, but also by being super-kind. But her reputation—and her entire empire, including her eponymous show—were put on the line when YouTuber Nikkie de Jager called our out, saying the host was “cold and distant” to her during her appearance on the show. After that, the floodgates opened. 

In April, a Twitter thread asking for people to share anecdotes about DeGeneres being “one of the meanest people alive” garnered thousands of replies from people describing bad experiences with her. Then, crew members from The Ellen DeGeneres Show began speaking out, and allegations of extreme behavior—including threats, harassment and racism—on the part of producers whom she oversaw started coming out. 

After reports emerged that CBS was considering canceling the show, she sent a letter of apology to her staff; several top producers were also let go. 

“On day one of our show, I told everyone in our first meeting that The Ellen DeGeneres Show would be a place of happiness — no one would ever raise their voice, and everyone would be treated with respect. Obviously, something changed, and I am disappointed to learn that this has not been the case,” DeGeneres wrote.

She also addressed the scandal when the show returned in September. 

“I learned that things happened here that never should have happened. I take that very seriously and I want to say I am so sorry to the people that were affected. I know that I am in a position of privilege and power and with that comes responsibility and I take responsibility for what happens at my show,” she said. “The truth is I am that person that you see on TV.”

Ratings for the premiere week were down about 37% compared with the previous season, which observers say may show the scandal affected her reputation.

MILEY CYRUS SAYS HARRY STYLES IS ‘LOOKING REALLY GOOD’ – (12/30/2020)

In a UK radio interview, Miley Cyrus was asked if she would rather kiss Justin Bieber or Harry Styles. Her quick reply was: “Harry, that’s easy. Justin Bieber I’ve known way too long, it’s like family. Harry Styles, he’s looking really good. Really good.” And then she said… “I’m into the fishnets.”

Cyrus seemed to linger on the answer and pointed out that they have similar taste and that she could share a closet with him.

The radio host offered to help “make it happen,” and Cyrus joked in response, “Everyone is always playing cupid for me these days!”

Miley Cyrus will perform on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on ABC.

KANYE WEST TURNED DOWN BY NINTENDO – (12/30/2020)

Kanye West was once turned down by Nintendo. A few years back as he was building his lucrative empire and collaborating with Adidas, he had made a pitch to Nintendo that wasn’t received very well.

According to HipHopDX, the onetime CEO of the company explained his actions during a podcast. He said, “We had so many different projects at Nintendo going on that the possibility of doing something with Kanye just wasn’t there. And so I had to find a way to politely decline this opportunity to work with him.”

He told Kanye, “You don’t want to work with us because we’re tough, we’re hard. All we do is push for the very best content. We would not be the type of partner you would want to work with. And he looks at me and says, ‘Reggie, you’re exactly the type of partner I want because of that reason!’ It’s like, ‘Oh my gosh.’”

In 2016, Kanye released a trailer for a mobile game called Only One, which was inspired by the death of his mother Donda West and the single, “Only One” featuring Paul McCartney.

According to a 2019 report from The Gamer, the film and animation studio Encyclopedia Pictura is “no longer involved” with the project.

JUSTIN BIEBER AND HAILEY BALDWIN TALK SEX ON INSTAGRAM – (12/30/2020)

Justin Bieber made a jarring adult joke on Instagram that he quickly got a response to. It started off innocent as he posted a video of himself rehearsing for his upcoming New Year’s Eve performance. Then, his wife Hailey Baldwin commented on his performance. She wrote, “My jaw??? On the floor.”

His reply was “Ur jaw is other places too, let’s be honest.” She quickly shut down the flirty chat and wrote… “Please go to sleep.”

Bieber seemed to go back and delete his comment, as her two comments remain on the post.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have officially launched their multi-year partnership with Spotify, dropping a holiday special featuring special guests, and judging from social media’s response, the biggest star of all, Archie. 

The stand-alone features anecdotes, inspirational stories and holiday cheer from Stacey Abrams, Christina Adane, José Andrés, Brené Brown, Rachel Cargle, Deepak Chopra, James Corden, Matt Haig, Sir Elton John, Hussain Manawer, Naomi Osaka, Tyler Perry, and George the Poet.

Harry tells Archie: [“You can speak into it.” Meghan said: “Archie, is it fun?” Archie responds, “Fun?” Meghan repeats, “Fun!” Harry: “After me. Ready? Happy…” Archie repeats, “Happy.” Meghan and Harry then said, “New…” Archie completes the message: “New Year”. All cheer. Harry: “Boom.”] 

Twitter seemed pretty psyched, especially to hear Archie speak. One said: “I loved it!!!! Archie speaking,” adding crying face emojis. 

They signed off with a song that holds special meaning for them. Meghan said: ” ‘This Little Light of Mine” played at the very end of our wedding . . . while we were walking down the steps of the church. It was the music that we wanted playing when we started our lives together. Because as we all know, ‘darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that…’ ”

Harry added, “The message of this song is one we hold so dearly. It’s about using the power we each have within us to make this world a better place.”
