ARIANA GRANDE BREAKS RECORD FOR MOST VOTER REGISTRATIONS ON TOUR – (12/23/2019)

Ariana Grande has broken the record for most voters registered on a tour.

According to the voter registration organization HeadCount, Ariana’s Sweetener World Tour has broken their all-time record for most voter registrations and actions on a tour.

“We are excited to announce that @ArianaGrande’s Sweetener World Tour has broken HeadCount’s all-time record,” the organization wrote. “With 33,381 voter registrations and actions, it is now the most successful tour in our history.”

“i’m so incredibly proud of my fans for engaging in this,” Ariana wrote in response. “thank u so much for investing in our future and for committing to making a change together.”

She added, “thank you @headcountorg for all that you do and for being such incredible partners this tour ! proud and grateful beyond.”

Ariana first announced her partnership with the non-profit, non-partisan HeadCount back in March, telling fans that there would be a voter registration booth set up at each of her tour stops. The movement was dubbed #thankunextgen.

RIHANNA TEASES NEW ALBUM – (12/23/2019)

Rihanna has teased her upcoming album #R9 once again — and fans are losing their minds. The singer took to social media with a video of a dog bopping hard to music, along with the caption, “Update: me listening to R9 by myself and refusing to release it.”

Of course, the fans reacted. One fan wrote, “I HATEEEEEEEEE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!” Another wrote, “Blocked and reported for childish behavior.”

According to Rap-Up, R9 is said to be inspired by the singer’s Carribbean Roots.

Ri’s last album ANTI was released in 2016. 

JUSTIN BIEBER TEASES NEW MUSIC: Justin Bieber has posted on social media several repetitions of the number “2020” – as in next year – and captioned them, “December 24, December 31, January 3 … #2020.” It could mean that Justin’s planning to drop a song on Christmas Eve, one on New Year’s Eve, and then another one on January 3rd, or maybe he means he’s going to release an entire album January 3rd. Or it may mean something else entirely. Justin’s most recent album, Purpose, came out in 2015. Since then, he’s released a slew of stand-alone singles and collaborations, most recently “10,000 Hours” with Dan + Shay.

CODY SIMPSON & MILEY CYRUS SPARK BREAK UP RUMORS – (12/23/2019)

Cody Simpson and Miley Cyrus have fans thinking they may have broken up just before the holidays.

The 22-year-old Australian singer was spotted in NYC this weekend with December 2019 Playmate Jordy Murray.

The sighting has fans on social media questioning whether he and Miley split up, especially since on the same day, she took to social media to share a link to a recording of her 2015 ballad “Sad Christmas Song.”

“A sad Christmas song I wrote a few years back right before the holidays. Was feeling like sh-t cause I couldn’t be with the one I loved. Even with a house full of family and friends I still felt alone,” she wrote.

“In ways that still feels relevant and someone reading this right now could possibly relate!” Miley added. “If you feel lonely this season just know YOU ARE COMPLETELY MADE OF MAGIC! CHANNING TATUM AND JESSIE J SPLIT AFTER 1 YEAR TOGETHER – (12/20/2019)

Channing Tatum and Jessie J have split after more than a year together, Us Weekly reports. 

“Channing Tatum and Jessie J broke up about a month ago,” one source reveals. “They are still really close and still good friends.”

The pair supported each other publicly throughout their relationship, cheering other’s projects on via social media. Tatum also attended several of J’s concerts, and she cheered him on during the opening night of London’s Magic Mike show in November of 2018. 

Tatum and J got together soon after he and ex-wife Jenna Dewan announced their split; when fans compared their looks, Dewan jumped to J’s defense. 

The former spouses share Everly, 6. They are still ironing out their divorce details, and Tatum admitted recently in court docs that they are having “conflict over adjustments to our schedules to ensure both parties are able to have equal time with our daughter.”

Dewan is expecting a child with Broadway star Steve Kazee, whom she has been dating since October of 2018.

AMY WINEHOUSE TO BE HONORED WITH GRAMMY MUSEUM EXHIBIT – (12/20/2019)

Amy Winehouse is set to be honored in a new exhibit at the Grammy Museum, which will showcase a range of the late singer’s costumes, as well as never-before-seen lyrics and journal entries.

The new exhibit – “Beyond Black – The Style Of Amy Winehouse” – will be the first ever Winehouse exhibit in the United States, and will open at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles on January 17, 2020, where it will remain until April 13th.

The exhibit will also touch on how Winehouse’s untimely passing led her family to create the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which works to inspire children and young people to build their self-esteem and resilience, so that they can flourish.

Alongside fashion pieces including the halter dress Winehouse wore at her final stage performance in Belgrade, and custom-made but never worn dresses that was supposed to be for her cancelled 2011 summer festival tour, the exhibit will also feature never-before-seen handwritten lyrics and journal entries, and never-before-seen home video.

Once the exhibit has closed, many of the items will be auctioned to benefit the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which will take place at Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills November 6 -7, 2021. Winehouse passed away in 2011 at the age of 27.

Beyonce is launching a gender neutral clothing line within her Ivy Park x Adidas collection.  When asked why she wanted to do a gender neutral line, the singer told ELLE, “I focused on designing a unisex collection of footwear and apparel because I saw so many men in Ivy Park. The way they have embraced the brand is an unexpected gift.”

She continued, “I appreciate the beauty of gender-neutral clothing and breaking the so-called fashion rules. I took a chance on myself when I bought my company back. We all have the confidence in us to take chances and bet on ourselves.”

Beyonce’s Ivy Park x Adidas collection will be out on January 18th.

JAY Z SHARES HIS FAVORITE SONGS OF 2019 – (12/20/2019)

JAY-Z shared his favorite hip-hop & R&B songs of 2019 exclusively on TIDAL. The 40-track playlist kicks off with DaBaby‘s “INTRO” from off of his KIRK album. The list also includes the rapper’s hit “Suge,” which comes in at number 15,

Other notables on the list include Nipsey Hussle‘s and Mustard‘s collaboration “Perfect Ten,” along with Megan Thee Stallion‘s “Cash Sh*t,” of course his wife Beyonce made the list, with “Already” off of The Lion King: The Gift album. 

Several R&B artists made the list this year as well. Summer Walker’s “Playing Games,” Jhene Aiko‘s “Triggered (Freestyle)” and two songs from his sister-in-law Solange‘s album When I Get Home.

Kanye also made the list with his Jesus Is King Track “Follow God.”

AARON CARTER FANS CALL POLICE FOR WELFARE CHECK AFTER HE FELL ASLEEP DURING A LIVE STREAM – (12/20/2019)

Aaron Carter was visited by police and paramedics at his home Wednesday night who were worried about a possible overdose that was later deemed a false alarm.

The 32-year-old musician was doing a live stream with his fans when he dozed off with the video still going on. The sudden unresponsiveness worried viewers enough to call the cops.

In a clip from the stream obtained by TMZ, police can be heard entering Carter’s bedroom and waking him up without incident. “Aaron!” one officer yells in the video. “What’s going on brother? [Expletive] man, are you OK?”

“What’s up guys?” a groggy Carter replies. “Yeah, we’re good.” Carter told TMZ that police broke into his place after no one answered the front door. The star was found asleep in his bedroom with the music from the live stream still playing. Carter explained to officers that he was not suicidal nor had he taken any pills or threatened to harm himself. The first responders ultimately deemed the incident a false alarm.

Ironically, the live stream mishap comes weeks after Carter told fans on Twitter that he was planning to take a break from interacting with fans online.

ELLIE GOULDING HELPS DRIVER WHOSE CAR WAS PUSHED SIDEWAYS BY TRUCK – (12/19/2019)

Ellie Goulding has confirmed that she was among those to check on a motorist whose car was dramatically pushed sideways down a busy road in west London by a Royal Mail truck.

The 32-year-old star shared a photo of the incident and confirmed that she was in the footage which began circulating on social media.

In the video shared online on Monday, a black Volkswagen is seen being shunted down the A40 by the delivery vehicle. When the truck driver finally stops, he can be heard yelling: “I honestly didn’t see him. I didn’t see him.”

Goulding said the incident was the “craziest thing I’ve ever seen on the road.” “I can’t believe the first instinct of the other drivers who got out was to instantly start filming on their phones and shout abuse at the poor shocked driver, not even checking the other driver was ok. What on earth,” she told her 14.4 million followers via her Instagram Stories.

Goulding told BBC Radio 1 she intervened because “no-one was stopping.” She said: “I think people were desperate to get to work. All these people were just driving on. We just drove up right next to it [the lorry] to be like ‘Mate, you’ve got a car on you’!” The driver of the car later messaged the singer “to just say he was OK,” she added.

LEWIS CAPALDI NAMED 2019’S HARDEST-WORKING ARTISTS: Lewis Capaldi has been named the Hardest-Working Artist of 2019 by Songkick, the concert-tracking and ticketing platform. Lewis got the title, according to the British-based site, because of the number of shows he played in 2019: a whopping 126. Honorable mention went to Lizzo, who played 120 shows this year. Other hardworking acts this year, according to Songkick, include Hozier, who played 124 gigs, Elton John, who did 113, and rockers Shinedown, who played 118 shows.

TAYLOR SWIFT GETS A SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY FROM ‘LOVER’ COLLABORATORS JACK ANTONOFF & LAURA SISK: Taylor Swift, who turned 30 on December 13th, got a surprise birthday party during a recording session with Jack Antonoff and songwriter Laura Sisk yesterday. “Walked into the studio to a surprise birthday party from these two @jackantonoff & @sharp_stick – it’s equally wild and cozy to think it was the three of us in a room making a song called “Lover” here last year. ♥️” The picture featured Taylor with a giant birthday cake, and her friends holding big balloons. HARRY STYLES DISCUSSES PERSONAL NEW ALBUM ON ‘ELLEN’ – (12/19/2019)

Harry Styles is giving insight into his personal new album, Fine Line.

The 25-year-old singer responded on yesterday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show to reports the album is about a breakup. “I think I definitely write from personal experience. I think a lot of people do. I think if you want your songs to kind of be honest and connect with people, it’s usually from writing honestly. It’s definitely about just what I was going through at the time, and that’s both good and bad,” he confirmed.

Fans believe several songs on Fine Line are about Styles’ ex-girlfriend, model Camille Rowe. Styles’ song “Cherry” appears to feature a voicemail of Rowe speaking in French. Styles and Rowe dated from July 2017 to July 2018.

Styles also discussed how he posed nude for a poster in the album notes. The photos were taken by British photographer Tim Walker. “I’ve never really done a shoot like this. It was kind of one of those things where he’s like, ‘Okay, this shirt’s not really working, so let’s try it without the shirt.’ And then it’s like, ‘Well, those trousers aren’t really working, so let’s try it without the trousers’,” Harry explained.

Earlier in the interview, Styles was asked about his ex Kendall Jenner, who appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden last week when Styles guest hosted the show. While Ellen attempted to get Styles to reveal anything about his relationship with her, Styles clammed up as he remained tight-lipped. “You and Kendall are really good friends now, right?” Ellen asked, as Styles replied casually, “Yeah, we’ve been friends for a while now, yeah, for like several years.”

“It’s sweet that you all are still really good friends,” Ellen added, grinning.

“Yeah. Yeah, I think so. Right?” Styles answered, smiling. “OK!” he exclaimed and then grabbed a sip of water.

Styles released Fine Line last week. He will promote the album on his Love tour of the U.K., Europe and North America in 2020.

Mark Hamill has hinted that Harry Styles has a secret cameo in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker as a Stormtrooper.

The 68-year-old actor is preparing to say goodbye to Luke Skywalker with the release of the final installment in the new trilogy of films in the sci-fi saga and before the premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, he hinted that Harry features as a Stormtrooper.

Hamill tweeted: ‘‘Tonight #TheRiseOfSkywalker Premiere finally brings closure to my dysfunctional family! Wonder who’ll be the #SecretStormtrooper in this one? Considering they’ve all been UK Superstars (2 Royals+2 Actors) but still no singer, all the clues point in one direction: #Stylestrooper.’’ He included a series of pictures showing previous secret celebrity Stormtroopers including Princes William and Harry, Daniel Craig and Tom Hardy.

Along with the hints of the hashtag #Stylestrooper and the nod to Harry’s band One Direction, Hamill also included a picture of Harry dressed as a Stormtrooper, from Kacey Musgraves’ Halloween party.

POST MALONE TO HEADLINE ‘DICK CLARK’S NEW YEAR’S ROCKIN’ EVE’ – (12/18/2019)

Post Malone is set to ring in 2020 at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020.

Posty will join the already star-studded lineup in New York City for the annual countdown to the new year. BTS and Sam Hunt will also join the party, along with Alanis Morissette, performing for the first time with the cast of the hit Broadway musical Jagged Little Pill.

“We are so lucky to have Post Malone performing for the world right before the iconic ball drop,” Mark Bracco, executive producer and EVP, Programming and Development, dick clark productions, shared. “Add to that superstars like BTS, Sam Hunt and Alanis Morrissette, and it promises to be a memorable New Year’s Eve in Times Square.”

The live stream event will start on December 31st, beginning at 8:00 p.m. [EST] on ABC.

Ryan Seacrest will be the master of ceremonies in Times Square, while Ciara is hosting the West Coast edition of the show, which will feature performances by Dua Lipa, Ava Max, Dan + Shay, Paula Abdul, SHAED, Megan Thee Stallion and more.

In addition, Billy Porter will host the countdown in New Orleans, with performances by Sheryl Crow and Usher, while there’ll be a special performance by the Jonas Brothers from Miami, Florida.

DEMI LOVATO DEBUTS NECK TATTOO: Demi Lovato is showing off her new ink. Lovato appears in a photo posted by tattoo artist Doctor Woo showcasing her brand new tattoo on Tuesday on Instagram. The tattoo is of the word “survivor,” written in cursive along the side of her neck. “On a real one 💪🏼🙏🏼 @ddlovato #hideawayatsuitex #slimneedle,” the post reads. The new tat is likely a reference to her past struggles with drug addiction and eating disorders. “What I see in the mirror [is] someone that’s overcome a lot. I’ve been through a lot and I genuinely see a fighter,” Demi said at last month’s Teen Vogue Summit. “I don’t see a championship winner, but I see a fighter and someone who is going to continue to fight no matter what is thrown their way.”

THE INTERNET CRINGES AS JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE CONTINUES TO KISS UP TO JESSICA BIEL – (12/18/2019)

It’s always awkward when a relationship hits a rough patch, and the pain is multiplied when the couple in question is world-famous. So the Internet has been watching with baited breath as Justin Timberlake, who recently apologized and blamed booze after he got busted holding hands with his co-star Alisha Wainwright, leaves thirsty comments on wife Jessica Biel’s IG.

She has yet to reply. 

In one, Biel poses on a bouncy ball in a sponsored post for Amazon and Gaiam, and Timberlake immediately posted heart and heart-eye emojis. In an another sponcon post for Gaiam, he wrote “Squad!” with a heart emoji. Crickets.

Although Biel is keeping quiet, others are piping up. Wrote one: “What goes around… comes back around,” while another wrote, “someone feels guilty.”

While Biel may not be ready to flirt with Timberlake on IG, she is reportedly ready to work on their relationship. Biel reportedly visited Timberlake on-set after the incident, and Wainwright opted to skip town.

TWITTER REACTS TO KATE MIDDLETON SHRUGGING OFF PRINCE WILLIAM PDA – (12/18/2019)

On BBC’s A Berry Royal Christmas, featuring Kate Middleton and Prince William, The Great British Baking Show’s Mary Berry follows the pair around as they attend various royal engagements and then cook delightful snacks together for an event. 

All went swimmingly, except during a brief exchange when William tried to put his hand on Kate’s shoulder, and she shook him off. Viewers hopped on social media to discuss the PDA rejection, with many dubbing it “awkward AF.” Still, others pointed out that royals are pretty strict about public make-outs.

Many adopted a “nothing to see here” attitude. Wrote one: “I think he tickled her back or shoulder, she did move but there were no dirty looks or even a facial reaction, it was not really long enough of a clip to really tell what was going on, but both seem to be in good humour.”

All of this comes after following rumors earlier this year that William had an affair with neighbor and former model Rose Hanbury. Following the uproar, Kate reportedly ousted Rose from their inner circle.

PINK IS THE NO. 1 TOURING ARTIST OF THE YEAR – (12/17/2019)

Pink has been named Pollstar’s 2019 Artist of the Year after reaching No. 1 on the media platform’s Year End Top 100 Worldwide Tour chart.

Her Beautiful Trauma tour raked in $215.2 million, more than Elton John and Ed Sheeran, and drew more than 1.8 million fans to 68 performances. Statistics also revealed an average show gross of $3.16 million and an average of 26,749 tickets sold per show.

“I do not believe in genres or boundaries,” Pink told Pollstar “What’s epic about making this kind of show with this kind of repertoire is that it can be a rock show, it can be theater, it can be Broadway, it can be acoustic,” the global superstar said. “I want fans to feel every kind feeling they can tap into.”

Pink moved up three spots on Pollstar’s charts since last year’s tour, which brought in $169.2 million. The Beautiful Trauma tour began March 1, 2018 and wrapped November 2, 2019 with six legs, including an all-stadium run through Europe for a total of 157 dates. Elton John and Ed Sheeran trailed behind her in the No. 2 and 3 spots with $212 million and $211.7 million, respectively.

The Rolling Stones topped the Top 200 North American Tours list with a $177.8 million gross from 16 performances in U.S. stadiums during the summer, drawing nearly 785,000 fans. Elton John came in at No. 2 ($157.4 million) while Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band ($97 million) rounded out the top three.

MARIAH CAREY’S ‘ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU’ REACHES NO. 1 ON BILLBOARD CHART FOR FIRST TIME – (12/17/2019)

Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” has reached the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for the first time since the song was released 25 years ago.

Carey’s milestone was announced on Monday by Billboard on Twitter. “@MariahCarey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” is officially No. 1 on the #Hot100 for the first time this week, 25 years after its release,” the account wrote.

The post added that the song spent 34 total weeks on the Hot 100 chart before reaching the top spot, positioning it as the “longest climb in the history of the chart.” Los del Rio previously held the record with “Macarena (Bayside Boys Mix)” with 32 total weeks charting before hitting No. 1.

Mariah is currently teasing a brand new music video for her “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” which is now her 19th No. 1 single.

Meanwhile, Billy Eichner was joined by Mariah for a holiday special of his hit series Billy on the Street.

During the episode, Billy and Mariah celebrated the 25th anniversary of “All I Want for Christmas is You” by going up to unsuspecting fans on the streets of New York and quizzed them on the lyrics. The queen of Christmas also speaks Swedish, hugs some flustered fans, and fixes a broken Christmas tree during the show.

Billy and Mariah’s union comes after Mariah praised Billy on the Street after it was released on Netflix last month.

Carey also performed a sold-out Christmas-themed show at Madison Square Garden which Schitt’s Creek’s Dan Levy called “the greatest two hours of my life.” Fans were so hyped up they started a subway sing-along across the platform from one another afterwards.

JAY-Z snatched a man’s phone out of his hand because he was recording Beyonce dancing at Diddy‘s 50th birthday party this past weekend. In the viral video, Beyonce is seen dancing with Kelly Rowland and rapper Saweetie to Bobby Brown‘s “Every Little Step.” The man was seen recording himself next to the singer and all of a sudden, Jay was seen snatching the phone out of the man’s hand. Of course, social media reacted immediately. One person tweeted “I would’ve had Jay Z security on my as**so fast because b* tch I let you slide when you cheated on Beyoncé, NOW you wanna snatch my phone out my han-” Another person wrote, “If Jay-Z snatched my phone like that I’d sue for mental and emotional damages. TAYLOR SWIFT WINS BILLBOARD AWARD, TAKES AIM AT SCOOTER BRAUN; HEADLINING GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY – (12/16/2019)

Taylor Swift was honored with the Woman of the Decade Award at Billboard’s Women in Music 2019 event at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Swift delivered a lengthy speech that touched on her career, sexism in the music industry, struggles she has endured due to being a woman, and how Scooter Braun has acquired her music catalog from her former label Big Machine Records:

[“I saw that as a female in this industry some people will always have slight reservations about you. Whether you deserve to be there, whether your male producer or co-writer is the reason for your success or whether it was a savvy record label. It wasn’t. I saw that people love to explain away a woman’s success in the music industry and I saw something in me change due to this realization. This was the decade when I became a mirror from my detractors. Whatever they decided I couldn’t do, is exactly what I did.”]

The singer then launched into how Braun’s Ithaca Holdings was unfairly able to purchase her catalogue without her approval, consultation or consent after she was denied the right to purchase the catalogue herself.

[“Scooter never contacted me or my team to discuss it prior to the sale or even when it was announced. I’m fairly certain he knew exactly how I would feel about it though and let me just say that the definition of the toxic male privilege in our industry is people saying, ‘but he’s always been nice to me,’ when I’m raising valid concerns about artists and their rights to own their music. And of course he’s nice to you – if you’re in this room, you have something he needs. The fact is that private equity is what enabled this man to think according to his own social media post that he could buy me, but I’m obviously not going willingly.”] 

Swift ended her speech on a note that summed up her decade: 

[“Lately I’ve been focusing less on doing what they say I can’t do and more on doing whatever the hell I want. Thank you for a magnificent, happy, free, confused, sometimes lonely, but mostly golden decade.”] 

Nicki Minaj was also on hand to honor late rapper Juice WRLD following his death as she accepted the Game-Changer Award. “I felt like he was a kindred spirit,” she said.

Meanwhile, Taylor has announced that she will be headlining the 2020 Glastonbury Festival on June 28, 2020. “I’m ecstatic to tell you that I’ll be headlining Glastonbury on its 50th anniversary – See you there! 💋,” she shared on social media with a selfie.

“From Christmas Tree Farm to Worthy Farm,” the newspaper in the photo reads. “Sunday night Taylor made for Glastonbury!”

The 50th anniversary of the Glastonbury Festival will take place from June 24-28, 2020, at Worthy Farm in England. Paul McCartney will also headline the annual event on June 27th.

CHUY BRAVO DEAD AT 63: Chuy Bravo, Chelsea Handler’s sidekick on her E! show Chelsea Lately died at 63 in Mexico City. The star died suddenly after being hospitalized with stomach pain. Handler posted a tribute to him on social media, writing: “I loved this nugget in a big way, and I took great pleasure in how many people loved him as much as I did and do. Chuy Bravo gave us so much laughter and I’ll never forget the sound of his laughter coming from his office into mine.” (Page Six) 

PATTERN? GABRIELLE UNION REACTS TO FIRING OF ORLANDO JONES – (12/16/2019)

Gabrielle Union is reaching out to Orlando Jones, who has reportedly been fired by the same production company who ousted her for questionable reasons. Union, of course, was let go from NBC’s America’s Got Talent, allegedly for objecting to racist jokes and being told her hairstyle was “too black.”

Jones was reportedly fired from the third season of American Gods, also produced by AGT’s producer Fremantle. The 51-year-old posted a message on Twitter slamming AG showrunner Charles Eglee, saying he was booted from the Starz series September 10th.  

According to Jones: “There will be no more Mr. Nancy. Don’t let these motherf—ers tell you they love Mr. Nancy. They don’t. I’m not going to name names but the new season three showrunner is Connecticut-born and Yale-educated, so he’s very smart and he thinks that Mr. Nancy’s angry, get s— done is the wrong message for black America.”

A rep for Eglee responded, saying he was not from Connecticut, but they didn’t disput any of the other allegations. 

Fremantle responded in a statement, saying: “The storylines of American Gods have continually shifted and evolved to reflect the complex mythology of the source material. Mr. Jones’ option was not picked up because Mr. Nancy, among other characters, is not featured in the portion of the book we are focusing on within season three. Several new characters, many of which have already been announced, will be introduced into Shadow Moon’s world that will further contribute to the show’s legacy as one of the most diverse series on television.”

Jones wrote that Fremantle is “a nightmare.” He continued: “They treated you like a 2nd class citizen for doing your job [too] well,” tagging Union, as well as former America’s Got Talent judges and hosts Nick Cannon, Mel B and Heidi Klum. 

Union responded, writing, “Ohhhhhhhh let’s chat my friend. #StrongerTogether.”

First she donned a yellow cardigan and matching skirt a la “good girl” Sandy, then ditched them for a leather jacket and black leggings, like the ones she wore in the Grease finale. The pair also held a Q&A.

Rumors that Lizzo has been banned from the Staples Center after showing off her thong at a Lakers-Timberwolves game last weekend are not true!

Lee Zeidman, the president of the Staples Center told Billboard, “She is not banned from the Staples Center and is welcome here anytime.

He continued, “It’s ridiculous that these rumors get started and that people write these types of things without making any attempt to find out the truth. It’s very lazy and disrespectful.”

AMAZON PAYS $25 MILLION FOR UNTITLED RIHANNA DOCUMENTARY – (12/13/2019)

Reports say Amazon has paid a pretty penny for the rights to a documentary about the life of Rihanna. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streaming giant paid $25 million for the untitled documentary. The documentary — which is directed by Peter Berg, features more than 1,200 hours of footage and will offer insight into the singer’s “personality, sense of humor, work ethic, family and love.”

Berg previously gave THR details about the project, saying, “That was a fun change of pace…to go travel with Rihanna around Europe, and Rihanna is surrounded by girls. We were in Nice [France]. She was going to do a concert on Bastille Day. And that truck driver who killed all those people plowed through them right in front of our hotel. So even in me trying to do something light, I had a very, very front-row seat to something that horrific.”

No word on when the documentary will be released.

JONAS BROTHERS TO PLAY ‘NEW YEAR’S ROCKIN’ EVE’ – (12/13/2019)

The Jonas Brothers are ringing in 2020 as part of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas will perform live from Miami just after the ball drops at midnight, marking the first performance of the New Year. They’re among the latest acts to join ABC’s 48th New Year’s celebration.

Ciara will host the Los Angeles portion of the special, which will also feature Paula Abdul, Kelsea Ballerini, Blanco Brown, Dan + Shay, Green Day, Dua Lipa, Ava Max, Anthony Ramos and Salt-N-Pepa. Billy Porter will host from New Orleans, with special guests Sheryl Crow and Usher. And Jessie James Decker will be on hand to reveal the first-ever First Powerball Millionaire of the Year. 

The New Year’s performance caps off a big year for the JoBros, who notched a hit with “Sucker,” released Happiness Begins, their first new studio album in 10 years, and launched a major concert tour.

The ABC special is slated to kick off Tuesday, December 31st beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. CT on ABC.
