JENNA DEWAN ‘RELIEVED’ AFTER DIVORCE, CHANNING TATUM RETURNS TO SOCIAL MEDIA – (11/27/2019)

Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum are officially divorced. A judge in L.A. finalized their split on November 19^th. The pair announced their separation two years ago after nine years of marriage. 

The 38-year-old Dewan, who is pregnant, is “very relieved to have closed that chapter. Now, she can just focus on the future,” a source tells People. 

That future includes a new baby with boyfriend Steve Kazee, whom she began dating in the fall of 2018, and a hosting gig for Fox’s dating show Flirty Dancing and a starring role in Netflix series Soundtrack. 

She recently told People that she and Tatum, who is dating singer Jessie J, have found their groove and are cooperating as they co-parent Everly. “You can still have a relationship, and just because the forms change as to who you are to each other, it doesn’t take away from the love that we shared all those years,” she said.

Tatum, meanwhile, has returned to social media after announcing that he was taking a break in August to focus on “the real world.”

Initially, Tatum shared black and white photos of himself and what looked like a horoscope that showed that a “transformation cycle” was halfway done. Then, he posted a shot of cute pictures, a note and little items his mom left him, writing: “Love when my mom come to town and leaves little presents for me to find once she leaves. Be lovin you mama! Always! Leaving that swinging promise!”

WHAT’S UP WITH TYLER CAMERON AND STASSI KARANIKOLAOU? Bacheroette alum Tyler Cameron was spotted out with Kylie Jenner’s BFF Stassie Karanikolaou, watching watching the Los Angeles Rams take on the Baltimore Ravens at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Monday, engaging in some serious PDA. Kendall Jenner, Bachelorettealum Dylan Barbour, and the star of the upcoming Bachelor season, Peter Weber were there as was Fai Khadra and Victoria Villarroel. “Stassie and Tyler were definitely showing PDA. They stuck by each other’s sides the entire night,” a source tells E! News. “Tyler was holding Stassie at one point and they were dancing. They were chatting the entire night, whispering in each other’s ears and Tyler grabbed Stassie’s face at one point for a kiss.” They’re “definitely hooking up,” though TBD if it will lead to more. Cameron recently called it quits with Gigi Hadid after two months of dating. 

TAYLOR SWIFT RELEASES AMA REMIX OF ‘LOVER’ – (11/27/2019)

Taylor Swift has released a new remix of “Lover” based on how the song was performed on Sunday at the American Music Awards.

“Lover (First Dance Remix)” is available on music streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, Tidal, Soundcloud and Deezer. The track was also uploaded to Swift’s YouTube page.

Swift made the announcement on Twitter by posting a selfie of herself wearing the same sparkling green dress she wore to the awards ceremony.

The remix has a different opening and features piano.

Taylor recently released a remix of “Lover” that featured Shawn Mendes adding new vocals. “Lover” is the title track from Swift’s newest album, which was released in August.

Swift won big at the AMAs, winning Artist of the Year after she was honored with the Artist of the Decade Award.

The singer unleashed a career-spanning concert onstage and performed “The Man,” “Love Story,” “I Knew You Were Trouble,” “Blank Space” and “Shake It Off,” which also featured Camila Cabello and Halsey.

MARIAH CAREY’S ‘ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU’ BREAKS THREE GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS – (11/27/2019)

The Guinness World Records organization honored Mariah Carey on Monday with three holiday-themed world records, thanks to the enduring legacy of “All I Want For Christmas is You.”

The superstar now holds the record for highest-charting holiday (Christmas/New Year) song on the Hot 100 by a solo artist, as well as most streamed track on Spotify in 24 hours – with over 10.8 million streams last December – and most weeks in the UK singles Top 10 chart for a Christmas song.

All three records will be included in the Guinness World Records 2020 Edition book.

Carey accepted the honors on stage during her Christmas show at The Colosseum in Las Vegas before inviting the Guinness representative to join her for the grand finale.

Mariah’s 2019 All I Want For Christmas Is You Tour runs in Las Vegas through November 30th before heading to the East Coast for dates in Atlantic City, Washington D.C., Boston, New York and more.

REPORT: DRAKE & KYLIE JENNER HAVE ‘MUTUAL’ FEELINGS FOR EACH OTHER – (11/27/2019)

Reports say that Drake and Kylie Jenner are definitely a thing and they have “mutual” feelings for eachother. Rumors started swirling that the two were dating after they were spotted together at the rapper’s 33rd birthday party last month and then again at his Halloween party.

According to US Weekly, a source said, “Drake has always had a thing for Kylie and it’s mutual. They hang out here and there and have been more recently than in the past because Kylie is technically single right now and the two of them live so close to each other.”

The source said that things haven’t become serious with the two yet. The source explained, “They have known each other and been friends for a very long time and there has always been a spark there, but their situation is complicated and so is Kylie’s with Travis.”

The source continued, “Drake and Kylie don’t want to jeopardize their friendship by crossing any major boundaries. Drake doesn’t have any intention of taking on a fatherly role with Stormi and he wants to have fun with Kylie with no strings attached and continue to have a friendship and be supportive of one another.”

Kylie and ex Travis Scott announced that they were taking a break after two years of dating. 

TWITTER REACTS TO RUMORS THAT JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE CHEATED ON JESSICA BIEL – (11/27/2019)

If “insiders” are to be believed, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake’s marriage will survive after photos of him holding hands with actress Alisha Wainwright surfaced.

Timberlake and Wainwright are co-starring in Palmer, and photos of them in New Orleans show Timberlake sans wedding ring drinking and chatting with her on a balcony. And yes, they did look pretty handsy. When the images surfaced, rebuttals were issued with claims of “they’re just friends!” and “there is nothing to see here!” being issued from all corners. 

Wainwright and Timberlake headed back to the set in New Orleans Monday, and Biel was photographed in L.A. with an oversized pillow and Transformers toy for their son, Silas. 

On social media, the reactions came fast and furious. One observer wrote, “So a man can be seen holding hands with and having his thigh stroked by a woman who’s not his wife and it can be defended by claiming to be ‘just friends’ but a woman can be accused of being unfaithful without actual evidence and she’s guilty? Ok….,” while another pointed out that this isn’t the first time Timberlake has been caught with another woman: “First public post marriage incident 2014 I think…. backup dancer… hence we got man of the woods era.”

JUSTIN BIEBER DEBUTS COTTON CANDY-PINK HAIR MAKEOVER: Justin Bieber debuted a major hair change over the weekend, trading his famous blonde locks for a new pink ‘do. The singer’s latest hair transformation was captured while he was out playing basketball in Beverly Hills on Sunday, where he matched his pink hair with a pair of bright magenta sweatpants from his Drew House fashion line. Fans on Twitter immediately began to theorize what Bieber’s new hair color could mean, noting that the bright shade reflects the all-pink marketing he’s been using to hint at a potential Christmas or R&B album.

SCOOTER BRAUN POSTS APPEAL TO TAYLOR SWIFT, SAYS HIS FAMILY’S RECEIVING DEATH THREATS – (11/25/2019)

Scooter Braun has issued his first public comments since Taylor Swift went public with a dispute over public performances of her Big Machine catalog, with the music mogul saying his family has since been the target of “numerous death threats.”

In a late-night Instagram post on Friday, Braun mentions comments he made earlier in the day at a Hollywood conference that derided “toxic division” sowed by social media turf battles, saying engaging in a public battle with Swift over their business-related disputes was “just not my style.”

Included in Braun’s Instagram post was a screenshot of a threat: “I will buy a gun tmr and them shoot you allin the head [sic],” it reads.

“However I came home tonight to find my wife had received a phone call threatening the safety of our children as well as other threats seen above,” Braun writes. “Thinking of my wife and children, my team and their families, I have gone through a range of emotions on how to deal with this. I write this now after a deep breath and much reflection. I am certain there is no situation ever worth jeopardizing anyone’s safety.” Braun goes on to tell Swift that her “words carry a tremendous amount of weight and that your message can be interpreted by some in different ways.” He closes his post by claiming his team notified Swift’s attorney “4 days ago” of the threats, but that there has been no response. “I’m still hopeful we can fix this,” he writes.

Last week, Swift penned a letter on social media claiming that Scott Borchetta and Braun were blocking her planned performance of a medley of her earlier hits at the American Music Awards because “that would be re-recording my music before I’m allowed to next year.” According to the label, the issue was about the re-broadcast and distribution of her performances, and that she was never barred from performing them.

Last Monday, the label granted all licenses of their artists’ performances at the show to “stream post show and for re-broadcast on mutually approved platforms.” The label added that “recording artists do not need label approval for live performances on television or any other live media” and that “record label approval is only needed for contracted artists’ audio and visual recordings and in determining how those works are distributed.”

When Taylor won Artist of The Year at the AMAs last night, she said the last year has had some of the best and hardest times of her life. She never mentioned Scooter or Big Machine directly, but it seemed she was referring the situation., Taylor’s outfit at the beginning of her performance had the names of her old albums … a not-so-subtle dig at Braun. And while accepting the AMA Artist of the Decade award there wasn’t a peep about her old songs, Big Machine or Scooter Braun.

Taylor sang most of her biggest hits, including “Love Story,” “I Knew You Were Trouble, and “Shake it Off.” But she didn’t sing “Bad Blood,” or “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” – as TMZ notes, the latter could be a metaphor for her relationship with Big Machine, so not singing it was interesting. She opened the set with her new song, “The Man.”

JASON DERULO SHOWS OFF HIS ‘ANACONDA’ ON INSTAGRAM – (11/25/2019)

Jason Derulo broke the internet when he posted a photo on Instagram that left nothing to the imagination last Thursday.

The 30-year-old singer and “Cats” actor showed off the “anaconda” (his word) in his pants while on a recent vacation in Bali. Some fans thought that Jason photoshopped the photo, but TMZ caught up with him for the scoop – and he said his impressive package was all due to his Haitian heritage.

“It was in Bali. I honestly [didn’t] feel like that was going to be my most liked picture when I woke up this morning. I posted the mother*cker very early. It was [a photo] from months ago. It was not even something that I just did,” Jason said.

“Photoshop? Photoshop? Don’t make me [pull it out]. There’s not enough women in this area. Just know that us Haitians, we look different,” he added.

“‘Good Mornin’ 💦,” he captioned the post, which features a photo of himself in tight shorts that seemingly show off his bulge up close.

“Don’t lie.. did you Zoom?” he added as commenters began noticing the details of the picture.

“LA is too COLD right now. Where should we good ????” he then commented on the post.

When one fan joked, “What animal are you hiding in your pants?” Derulo responded, “Anaconda.”

KYLIE JENNER DATING DRAKE TO MAKE TRAVIS SCOTT JEALOUS RUMORS SWIRL AS STOCK TANKS – (11/25/2019)

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott officially split almost two months ago, and since then, both have been linked to other people … and their have been rumors that they’re back together.

One particularly explosive rumor that has the internetz breathing into a paper bag, is that Jenner is dating frequent Scott collaborator and pal, Drake.

A source tells People: “She sees Drake occasionally, but it doesn’t seem serious. She could be doing it just to make Travis jealous.” 

Another source says: “He and Kylie have been spending time together recently. They’ve been friends for a long time and Drake is very close to the family.”

The pair were first linked in October at Drake’s birthday party. Us reported: “She spent the most time near Drake and his friends. Kylie was rapping to songs and dancing with her friends while she was next to Drake, but they weren’t dancing together, they seemed to have a connection though.”

COTY STOCK

Meanwhile, following the news that Jenner sold 51% of her stake in her Kylie Cosmetics brand to Coty, the shares took a major hit. 

TMZ notes that after close of trading, stock was down to $11.53 a share, the lowest they’ve been in a month. Overall, Coty stock is down 5.5% after Jenner’s $600M payday.

JJ ABRAMS RESPONDS TO GEORGE LUCAS’ ‘STAR WARS’ CRITICISM – (11/25/2019)

When Disney CEO Bob Iger’s memoir dropped this fall, it made headlines when it emerged that Star Wars creator George Lucas was not a fan of JJ Abrams’ take on the franchise. 

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, was the first film in the franchise to be released following Disney’s $4.3 billion acquisition of LucasFilm. 

Iger wrote that after Lucas saw the film “he didn’t hide his disappointment. ‘There’s nothing new,’ [Lucas] said. In each of the films in the original trilogy, it was important to him to present new worlds, new stories, new characters, and new technologies. In this one, he said, ‘There weren’t enough visual or technical leaps forward.’”

In a new interview with Rolling Stone ahead of the release of Abrams’ latest effort, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Abrams responded. He says he “only has gratitude” for Lucas and the work he did. He adds that the pair remain friends, and that he consulted him before beginning production of Rise of Skywalker. 

He continues: “It’s probably a complicated thing for him. To decide you’re going to sell this thing that you created, that was your baby, to anyone — that must be more complicated than signing a check and smiling about it. But he’s been incredibly gracious. He’s been super-generous.”

Abrams adds: “He came over, we had a meeting when we first started working on this [new movie], talked through a ton of different ideas and stories, and heard from him what was important. And we’ve done nothing but try and adhere to some fundamental aspects of the story. It wasn’t a difficult thing to try and do. And again, he was really gracious. So I’m only grateful. Do I wish that [Force Awakens] had been his favorite movie of all time? Yes, I only wanted to do well by him. I would just say that I have nothing but profound respect for the guy and am still truly, even more so now, working on these movies in awe of what he created.”

Abrams went so far as to say that he “gets” why he didn’t think it was original, and adds that “the idea was to continue the story and to begin with this young woman who felt like Luke Skywalker was a myth. And to tell a story that was not just history repeating itself, but a story that embraced the movies that we know as the actual history of this galaxy. So that they are still living in a place where there is good versus evil, they’re still living in the shadow of what has come before, still grappling with the sins of the father and the people who have preceded them. This was not about a nostalgia play. It felt, to me, like a way of saying, ‘Let’s go back to a Star Wars that we know, so we can tell another story.’”

The Rise of Skywalker, starring Billie Lourd, Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley, Carrie Fischer and among many others, opens in theaters nationwide on December 20^th.
