PINK HITS BACK AFTER CRITICISM OVER ZOO VISIT – (07/10/2019)
Pink can’t catch a break when it comes to posting her kids’ cute pics online.
After vowing never to share pictures of her children on Instagram due to mommy shaming, the singer posted a photo of herself at a zoo in Germany with her son Jameson. And, like always, some trolls had to bring their uninvited opinions.
“I’m surprised you go to zoos,” one follower commented. “Animals shouldn’t be in captivity. If it was a sanctuary, that’d be different.”
Pink shot back, “I believe in capturing a child’s interest and love for an animal before teaching them about things like captivity. But thank you, the world needed your wisdom today.”
“Here’s the thing though…I don’t remember asking you for your opinion or for your help in raising my child,” Pink added. “This isn’t the place for a debate. Call CNN or call the zoo.”
When she continued to get criticism, Pink took a stronger stance, posting a few more photos of her kids. Under a shot of her daughter and a friend running through sprinklers, Pink wrote, “Here’s a picture of my child running through water. It wasn’t even filtered. What a waste of water. And no helmet? I hope she had sunscreen.”
“If she slips and falls she may be traumatized for life,” Pink added. “And her mother wasn’t even there. I was….. gasp…. working!!!! In another country!” Finally, Pink posted another photo from the zoo visit, showing herself and Jameson looking at guinea pigs.
“I would also like to point out that there are GUINEA PIGS in captivity here but they at least go to church like good Christian guinea pigs,” she wrote. “Not that all Christians are good. I didn’t mean to offend the non good Christians.”
Pink’s response was cheered by followers.
“Don’t let the haters win,” learn one remark. “You recognize you’re mother so screw them and preserve posting no matter you need.”
“She says, ‘I’m shocked you go to zoos?’ I’m so shocked that folks don’t thoughts their very own f***ing enterprise,” one other fan commented, prompting Pink to put in writing, “agree.”

NICKI MINAJ PULLS OUT OF SAUDI ARABIA SHOW – (07/10/2019)
Nicki Minaj has canceled her upcoming show in Saudi Arabia after receiving complaints and concerns from human rights groups. Rap-Up reports that Nicki pulled out of the Jeddah World Fest, which was scheduled to take place on July 18th at the King Abdullah Sports Stadium.
According to Billboard, the Queens rapper said in a statement, “After careful reflection I have decided to no longer move forward with my scheduled concert at Jeddah World Fest. While I want nothing more than to bring my show to fans in Saudi Arabia, after better educating myself on the issues, I believe it is important for me to make clear my support for the rights of women, the LGBTQ community and freedom of expression.”
Nicki’s decision comes after she received complaints from activists, including Human Rights Foundation CEO Thor Halvorssen, who pushed for her to cancel the performance. In Halvorssen’s five-page letter to Nicki, he pointed out Saudi Arabia’s human rights crisis, and noted its treatment of women and abuse of the LGBTQ community.
He said, “Since coming to power in 2017, [Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman] has spearheaded a crackdown on human rights, especially those of the women who live in his Kingdom. If you move forward with this performance for a festival sponsored by the Crown Prince, you will be in league with the people who respond to freedom of expression and thought with murder.”
